Try looking back into the bowl while coming out of the rock. Sounds silly, but i tried to learn rock to fakie for months before i realized i just wasn’t looking where i was going. When you’re looking forwards at the deck, your body will want to stay up there instead of being ready to come back down the ramp. As soon as i started looking, everything clicked and now i have them down really well.

Hi John. Helpful and inspiring videos! I was at phase 3 until I had a nasty fall on my back hip (wheels caught as I was beginning to feel comfortable with the trick). Now back to phase 2…The fear factor is immense to overcome.
alright!!! I must say I'm at phase zero or phase fear.. I tried it for the first time yesterday, barely landed one and then got myself a sprained ankle... Great video Jon!!!

Awesome man, some of those ramps are no joke! The best tip I got was to keep your weight inside the transition. It makes 'rocking' back in a lot easier! The rest is just pure commitment. I've had my fair share of slams doing them haha.
Interesting video. Really wanna get my rock to fakies down on higher ramps. I've heard decking out Is also useful for half cabbing back into the transition
I am chuckling here at you describing the injuries and the ankle knifer in particular!! 😂😂 that’s happened to me a lot and my ankle is still sore from one a few a weeks ago! Easier just to commit to the rock to fakie and it’s less painful haha 😅
Great video Jon, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I've been struggling with RTF for a good while now, this video has inspired me to dig deep and keep going.
Great vid Jon. I'm still in the early stages but do get my front wheels over, just no rock yet. One things that helped me before I was ready to have the wheels over the coping was to do a double tap on the ramp with the front wheels, one on the way up and one on the way back down. Gets you used to the feeling of lifting the front truck up while on the transition. Keep up the good work mate;)
Phase 1 to nine has taken around two years I recon? However I went through a phase early on of trying tricks and just making it once. I’d then tick it off the list thinking I’d cracked it and move on. This turned out to be not so great as I had to go back and pretty much start from scratch later on??!
Great to watch this with all of the development, I was only telling my son about your channel the other day and this will be well useful. I’d say we’re both sitting somewhere between stage 4 and 5; a bit fudgy and needing more commitment but definitely getting somewhere. Sadly I buggered my knee up the other day (though I did score a Rock n Roll before it got me) so I’ll be out of commission for a couple of weeks. Hopefully I’ll be functioning for our next Just Ramps visit on 28th 😎
Rock fakie is a mind F! I never gave them a second thought on anything above 6ft until a year or two ago. I’m 50 so I’ve started to take on unnatural precautions.
Always find your videos very informative Jon. I’m a 56 year old guy learning to skate so can relate to you. I’m learning rock to fakie at the moment too...or at least I was till I fell backwards of A TWO FOOT QUARTER PIPE onto a straight arm and fractured my radial head 🤦♂️ No one ever goes through falling off the board backwards down the ramp, but I found some of your slams helpful to come up with a strategy for when I can skate again. I’m surprised you don’t pad up on some of these techniques. You must be pretty hardy because some of your falls look fairly gnarly.
Hey Rab Many thanks for tuning in. I did use pads in the early stages, but I have very limited footage of practicing. There are a few shots in here, but the footage is badly shot and a bit grainy. I went back and performed the early stuff, it was hot and felt confident so didn’t bother with pads. Turns out of those early stages are harder to do than the version I do now? 😂 So I ended up coming a cropper 😂 luckily no damage ?!
Rock to fakie with a waterborne truck is pretty wicked. Slammed hard on my backside ree-ntering. Crazy wobble! Got a few good ones at that concrete park. You are correct about the sound of proper technique to what I was doing. But we shall overcome this! Your vlogs abd vibes keeps the stoke high!
This is exactly what I needed to see! I’m trying to learn how to do this right now and I took a major slam yesterday and ordered hip pads right after 😂still limping this morning, but still determined! This video was really insightful, thank you 🙏 I just got back into skating after a 20+ year hiatus and it’s been kicking my ass 😂 I never learned transition so this is new territory for me. One thing I will note is that I think it’s beneficial to spend a few session’s just cruising around switch/fakie the entire time until it feels natural. I think this will really help build up confidence and strengthen the muscles in the opposite foot for balance at higher speeds. I truly believe this is what is holding me back. So I’m going to test this theory while I allow my hip to heal
Nice video! inspiring, I'm 44 and just learning how to do this on a skateboard, plenty of experience on transition on inline skates, but the skateboard is a different beast, having fun with the challenge.
This video is awesome! I am struggling with the mental barrier big time on this trick. I can do axel stalls and so on, but this one I just can't commit. I think this will help a lot. I love that you even do it on a surfskate as i ride both styles as well. Wish me luck
This has been me all week, been getting 50-50 slashers and rock to fakie, any kind of board stalling stuff sketches me out more then grinds ive found, also thank you for making others aware of the injuries, lemme tell you my right ankle is destroyed, my left hip is smashed, and my right elbow destroyed rn even with all pads
@@JonBishopSkate that it is for sure, my park to is a bit odd only got two half bowls on both sides and a small half ramp in the middle that really slows you down, good park but omg the coping is so tight as is the transistion made learning slashers terrifying on a 4-5 foot transistion ramp and you only get narrow coping with a limited 2-3 foot spot to actually land in tricks on the coping without the board flying off the coping on its own xD
I recently buckled my knee and got my self a pretty long injury break (which sucks) and all of my good skater freinds couldn’t relate to the struggle, glad to see someone being honest and struggling initially aswell, inspired me to get back onto the half pipe!
Yeah dude, some dudes find this an easy trick, but you often find they learned it young and now can do it on command without the carnage. Most of the dudes who I know who learn it in their 40s have a similar experience, I personally found it scary and dangerous, but everyone is different 😂
Got the spine last week from watching your vids the spine transfer lines and spine transfer 101. Something that really helped was as you said to pop over the coping and getting onto the rails so I could rock an not get hung up. This led to finding a biting point on the steel pipe and from there learnt pop rock fakie on 3ft then 4 then got the spine all in same day. Can now fakie rock upto the back/front trucks. Also got a cheeky infinite Boardstall with an everything grab, you Videos are defintley helping. Keep it up.
Thanks man. You triggered me with a good idea. Last week I found in the bowl a spot with low coping so I could practice roll in at that spot without hanging up. But like you are saying that would also be a good spot to learn the rock to fakie. Already trying for two years, but when the quarter goes over 3", I fail to commit and always end with a hangup and bounding on my hip protectors :). Will try that spot with low coping next week for rock to fakie
Thank you for a great video. Im a47 and learning to skate. Im on step 2, but you had some really useful examples so I''m exited to get out to the miniramp again. And THE ANKLE PAD was the nr one advice ;) Cheers!
love the video Jon! so many nuggets of practical wisedom for every different phase... just began dubbing with the rock to fakie after a really violent and sudden deceleration on the coping of a 6(ish) foot halfpipe made it adamant clear that... yep... gotta to bite the bullet, conquer the fear and move on to the rock-to-fakie stage... 😂 greetings from the Netherlands!
Great timing with the video, I was out on Friday while the kids were at school fine tuning my Rock to Fakie for the same reasons you describe. All was going well until I got a bit of debris wedged under a wheel whilst descending a ramp. I now have two fractures in my collarbone…..bugger. Keep up the excellent videos.👍🏻
Here’s a link if you fancy a peek dude? The only thing that is different now is that I have 58mm Spitfire OG classic wheels. th-cam.com/video/lwvMU7ghDHM/w-d-xo.html
Learned a rock fakie on a 4 1/2 foot halfpipe. Felt amazing. Broke my wrist on a nasty fall about a month later, I'm still giving it time before I try again. I wish we had smaller transition to practice on in TN.
@@christianiggi I think it was about a month before I could take off the splint. I ended up having surgery and a plate put in. About 3 months total before I could start thinking about doing like push ups or things like that. Just take the time, and also take the physical therapy seriously. I was doing every stretch and practice motion I could when they’d let me, and my overall timeline went down. Hang in there dude. It fucking hurt when it happened, but now I’m pretty much back where I was, except I still haven’t rock to fakie’d since it happened. But that’s mostly on me.
Just spent a couple of hours hanging up on a 4 foot ramp. Starting to get nervous and bail my back foot before I'd even hung up. But I'm hoping that tip of bending the front knee might just be the business....... thanks!
Fantastic video, John! I'm getting back into skating at 40. The last time I skated was probably at 12 years old lol. It's coming back well enough, though my balance isn't what it used to be. I've recently built a 3 1/2' miniramp in my backyard, and am currently working on rock to fakie, and I'm not finding issue committing to reentry, but riding fakie is not my strong suite. I've found when I reenter the ramp my front foot (on nose of board) will slip off and I'll do the splits. My hip joint is all messed now from the few should I've taken this way. I'm gonna keep at it though and will have it soon enough. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great tips as always, bro! Your videos are helping me a lot. I’m getting through some problems with Rock to Fakie. This was the first trick I’ve learned and the one I was more comfortable to commit for years. Some months ago, with no reason, I completely lost the trick and I can’t get it back, even in smaller ramps. What should I do? I can land other harder tricks but I keep struggling with this one. It’s so frustrating… Thanks, Jon!
Great video I’m currently just tapping those front wheels over the coping, I need to work on getting that rock. I know it’s only a stepping stone but I like that decked out one which will help build towards a solid rock n’ roll might give that a go.
Wow! Iam going thru the rock to fakie punishment my self. I made a ankle pad, that kills the ankle seems to hit it every time. I am getting out of the video I may not be lifting my front foot. Just been thinking that my tail pressure would be enough to cause the front to lift. Anyway I just ain't quiting I'll get it or die trying.👍✌️
Absolutely love your vids John. Just starting to get a bit confidence on the half pipes meself. This a vid I'll be using alot shortly once I finally get the nerve to get up to that "chunky" coping!!
Really like the way you break this down. Im getting to grips with phase 5, yet to do anything on pool coping though. The only pool near me is too whippy for me at the moment.
For me it would be phase 4. Funny, because i also experience it until now that i went thru phases learning the rock to fakie. I am thinking on steping it up to phase 6, but feel kind of comfy still in phase 4. :-)
Great video. Another neat variation that I have just started to do is a knee drop with an Indy at the top of a decked out rock fakie. Definitely needed my brave pills for that one
great video as always, still at phase 1/2 but happy just to be doing it most of the time for now :/ i bought some football shinguards after too many days of cut and swollen ankles!
@@JonBishopSkate yep yep. moved onto stage 3-4 today on my back garden micro ramp (2 quarters facing each other), i put some deck rails on my board and found they really helped for some reason. Currently battling the rock n roll too. . . .
I've been stuck on phase 2 for ages. Have a brain fart whenever I try stepping it up and I end up just bailing. Think its the fear factor. I can do a proper Rock and roll, but proper rock to fakie I haven't managed. You've inspired me to give it another go this week Jon. Also hope that learning this will lead in some way to doing a front Rock, a dream transition trick for me.
It comes by itself, especially when you try taking your rock to fakies to bigger ramps. It's going to be daunting, but you will notice massive improvement this way.
Think I just leveled up. Managed to tap my board over the top coping. Still getting a small bump on way back down, but starting to feel closer to a proper rock to fakie. Just no rock yet.
Now up to phase 6! managing to get my board fully decked out with wheels up against the coping. The part that unlocked it was the speed of the tap over the coping, I found I had to do it quicker then I thought, plus keeping my weight inside the bowl. Only on a small quarter at the moment, but hope to step it up to a 5/6 foot quarter some time soon.
In the vert stage too. I don't know what it is when the transition gets steep it feels totally different. I've got some up towns in vert but I haven't committed to getting the wheels over yet.
Yeah dude, I’ve offered it up a few times and it’s ridiculously scary. I recon I’ve got it all day long on the drive there. Then as soon as I look at it in ‘real life’ I know I haven’t 😂
@@JonBishopSkate Same. Been working on 180 Ollie's on transition and at home I'm like, I'm going catch so much air! Then I get there and I'm like, why don't I just practice strawberry milkshakes on the flat. 😂😂😂
@@thatoneguy2057 ha ha, yeah the tricks I make in my head are unbelievable. I did a 360 air on the mini ramp the other night just before I nodded off 😂
Great video! I’m in the beginnings of the phase 10 myself, I’m very comfortable with everything else but just not plucked up the beans to do it on the vert yet but I’m almost at the point where it’s unavoidable 😬
Wicked, brothers in arms !! I’ve offered it up, but crikey it’s scary. It should be just the same? But that’s what they all told me about dropping in on vert, and it wasn’t, it was different 😂
@@JonBishopSkate 👊🏼 I haven’t offered it up I feel like when I do I want to go all in and go for a full commit (we’ll at least that’s what I’m telling myself now 🤣) I’m currently avoiding the issue by trying 5050’s first but know it’s looming. Totally with you about how different it’s going to be and agree even the drop in was a million times different , literally everything is like learning all over again where I’m concerned with vert. I think a very quick ride up tap the truck over and back in again without pausing on the rock is going to be the best first attempt option, staying deep inside the ramp and not putting my weight up on top over the coping as that may lead to a hangup or at least a longer fall. So kinda avoiding the full on ‘rock’ until I’ve come to terms with the fakie exit on vert.
@@NeilHesterSkateboarding yeah man, the way nug lord does them at the end of this vid is nuts, that’s a super quick tap with full commitment. That’s what I’ve set my heart on. Mine will always look a bit more old man though, I’ve made my peace with that 😂
Mate, when I was 14, I was doing these and axel stalls without thinking. I don’t even remember having too much trouble I just got them as soon as I was comfortable on the ramp. Now, at 45 I’m really struggling to relearn them. I guess I’m doing to much thinking about the movement. Never did think at 14 I just imagined doing it and went for it.
Many thanks for tuning in dude. Yeah, I recon it’s a confidence trick. In the early stages I found it was 9 times out ten a case of just not jumping off?
Jon - more awsome stuff man. For me some days it's 10 times out of 10 for rock fakie, others it's 6 out of 10, a limp and plenty of lost skin! I learned by saying "tap, tap" to coincide with hitting the deck on the coping then hitting the wheels on the trans on the way down. Do I spy new wheels on the Anderson ?
Nice one man, yeah I thought I had this one dialled pretty much 100%, but during the filming I still had a couple of bails 😂 The pool coping was the worst ratio, always bail the first one?? Eagle eyes on the wheels!! Using 58mm Spitfire OG Classics for the bowl now. Really like them a touch harder at 99a and definitely a bit lighter than my 61mm OJs
Hi Josh Many thanks for tuning in. I run two setups using the AA deck for both Street/mini = mini logo 8.75 trucks, stock bushings and 55mm OJ Winkowski Bowl = 159 Indy, bones Medium hardcore bushings, 58mm spitfire OG classics
A few things you can improve on that trick, and on all type of riding, especially riding backward (/fakie): - front foot should be over the bolts, and perpendicular with the board (not diagonal); - unlock the arms while riding, doing that tricks the arms should never be "attached" with your body; - always look the direction you`re going, if you`re coming down the "rock`n roll", you must look down (that`s why you fall sometimes; - if in doubt, body weight as low as possible (will be lot more stable), you`re riding too stretch; But keep up with this good work. 🙂
A risk you forgot to mention : ankle sprain and fracture of 5th metatarsal of the back foot. i should have followed your phases and do baby steps rather than insisting 🤦♂️. Now it healed, i am ready to give myself a 2nd chance for that nirvana 🤘
I'm 51, started skating at 49. Now entering phase 4, took me a very long time to get there. Some days I make them all, some days I make none and need to go back to the drawing board. I must say that doing them with risers seems a bit harder.

You are not wrong !!
Your progression is unreal man, inspirational! Definitely have one of the cleanest rock fakies I’ve seen
Many thanks for tuning in dude!
Ah, the old ankle knifer, an integral part of learning the rock fakie. Only the brave go in for the full decker, respect.
Ha, yeah the novelty of the ankle knifer wears off pretty quick 😂
Slammed trying this move today very emotional lol
Love this guy
Rock fakie is a mind F! I never gave them a second thought on anything above 6ft until a year or two ago. I’m 50 so I’ve started to take on unnatural precautions.
Totally agree mate. I’m 45 now and I’m too conscious of it all. When I was younger I just did it with no problems.
Agreed, anything a half foot taller than my previous limit is a brand new battle 😂
Totally agree man, I'm 52 and every trick is a lottery now!
Just hit my head falling backward today
Always find your videos very informative Jon. I’m a 56 year old guy learning to skate so can relate to you. I’m learning rock to fakie at the moment too...or at least I was till I fell backwards of A TWO FOOT QUARTER PIPE onto a straight arm and fractured my radial head 🤦♂️ No one ever goes through falling off the board backwards down the ramp, but I found some of your slams helpful to come up with a strategy for when I can skate again. I’m surprised you don’t pad up on some of these techniques. You must be pretty hardy because some of your falls look fairly gnarly.
Hey Rab
Many thanks for tuning in.
1:27 took me 15 years to lose my fear and learn it lmao. Feels so good
Rock to fakie with a waterborne truck is pretty wicked. Slammed hard on my backside ree-ntering. Crazy wobble! Got a few good ones at that concrete park. You are correct about the sound of proper technique to what I was doing. But we shall overcome this! Your vlogs abd vibes keeps the stoke high!
Nice one, Yeah those surf skates are tricky the wrong way round for sure !!
This is exactly what I needed to see! I’m trying to learn how to do this right now and I took a major slam yesterday and ordered hip pads right after 😂still limping this morning, but still determined! This video was really insightful, thank you 🙏 I just got back into skating after a 20+ year hiatus and it’s been kicking my ass 😂
I never learned transition so this is new territory for me.
Great stuff dude, many thanks for checking in!
Nice video! inspiring, I'm 44 and just learning how to do this on a skateboard, plenty of experience on transition on inline skates, but the skateboard is a different beast, having fun with the challenge.
It’s a fun challenge for sure !!
This video is awesome! I am struggling with the mental barrier big time on this trick. I can do axel stalls and so on, but this one I just can't commit. I think this will help a lot. I love that you even do it on a surfskate as i ride both styles as well. Wish me luck
Good luck 🤞
This has been me all week, been getting 50-50 slashers and rock to fakie, any kind of board stalling stuff sketches me out more then grinds ive found, also thank you for making others aware of the injuries, lemme tell you my right ankle is destroyed, my left hip is smashed, and my right elbow destroyed rn even with all pads
Yeah dude, it’s a tough one !!
Awesome video!
Keep it up.
Great work dude, I like the sound of the infinite stall.
@@JonBishopSkate cheers, welcome to check it out here, is only a minute-ish. :)
6:30 I’ve been skating/watching skate videos since I was 10 years old and only just now am I realising why “rock” to fakie is called that 🤦♂️
Nice one, let me know how you get on !!
Thank you for a great video. Im a47 and learning to skate. Im on step 2, but you had some really useful examples so I''m exited to get out to the miniramp again. And THE ANKLE PAD was the nr one advice ;) Cheers!
Nice one ☝️
So helpful. I’m currently trying to get to phase 6 on anything higher than 5’. It’s more mental than anything, I think.
love the video Jon! so many nuggets of practical wisedom for every different phase... just began dubbing with the rock to fakie after a really violent and sudden deceleration on the coping of a 6(ish) foot halfpipe made it adamant clear that... yep... gotta to bite the bullet, conquer the fear and move on to the rock-to-fakie stage... 😂
greetings from the Netherlands!
Many thanks for the feedback dude! Go get it!
Ah no, here’s to a speedy recovery
So good!
New intro is sick!!! I’m currently on phase 8-9 and my favorite s definitely rock shuvit out!
Wow, nice one, shuv out, I’d like to see a vid of that !!
I can dm you the video through Instagram
@@jam12008 great !
Awesome video. I would love a tour of your board setups sometime!
Here’s a link if you fancy a peek dude?
The only thing that is different now is that I have 58mm Spitfire OG classic wheels.

@@JonBishopSkate I watched this one. I was interested to learn more about what's on your wall. You have a lot of cool stuff there... Thanks!
Learned a rock fakie on a 4 1/2 foot halfpipe. Felt amazing. Broke my wrist on a nasty fall about a month later, I'm still giving it time before I try again. I wish we had smaller transition to practice on in TN.
How long was the recovery? I’ve just broken mine
I need to try all these variations - they look fun!
Wicked, let me know how you get on!!
Just spent a couple of hours hanging up on a 4 foot ramp. Starting to get nervous and bail my back foot before I'd even hung up. But I'm hoping that tip of bending the front knee might just be the business....... thanks!
It’s a tough one!
Many thanks for tuning in.
Crikey, That sounds nasty, I’ve never had that slam thankfully ?? Had all the rest though I recon 😂
After 40 you’ve got to build up as much muscle strength and flexibility as possible to reduce injury.
It’s so frustrating…
Thanks, Jon!
I'm still in phase 1!
4:00 - God! Yes!
Great video I’m currently just tapping those front wheels over the coping, I need to work on getting that rock.
I know it’s only a stepping stone but I like that decked out one which will help build towards a solid rock n’ roll might give that a go.
Yeah man, the decked out way is ace fun.
I might try some rock out just to get the feel of putting it in rock position without having to bail
That’s the spirit!
Absolutely love your vids John. Just starting to get a bit confidence on the half pipes meself. This a vid I'll be using alot shortly once I finally get the nerve to get up to that "chunky" coping!!
Great stuff!!
Really like the way you break this down. Im getting to grips with phase 5, yet to do anything on pool coping though. The only pool near me is too whippy for me at the moment.
Great stuff!!
John is a rock god
For me it would be phase 4. Funny, because i also experience it until now that i went thru phases learning the rock to fakie. I am thinking on steping it up to phase 6, but feel kind of comfy still in phase 4. :-)
Yeah man, I happily hung out in phase 3 and phase 4 for a good while 😂
Great video. Another neat variation that I have just started to do is a knee drop with an Indy at the top of a decked out rock fakie. Definitely needed my brave pills for that one
Amazing idea, defo gonna try that. Many thanks for the input. If you are on insta and have a clip then please do tag me @jonbishopskate
@@JonBishopSkate will do I’ll put one up this week
Can’t wait, I used to do a decked out tail grab and that was scary, My mate does the tail grab with the front hand, looks like a seatbelt 😂
@@JonBishopSkate oh wow that would be tricky reaching around like that.
Boardslide to fakie😍
great video as always, still at phase 1/2 but happy just to be doing it most of the time for now :/ i bought some football shinguards after too many days of cut and swollen ankles!
Yeah that’s the way, I use BMX ankle guards, probably the same sort of vibe ?!
@@JonBishopSkate yep yep. moved onto stage 3-4 today on my back garden micro ramp (2 quarters facing each other), i put some deck rails on my board and found they really helped for some reason. Currently battling the rock n roll too. . . .
Watching with a bruised ankle😉. Second time I’m watching your video thinking.. would have been really nice to have done that before I went off trying😂
Sorry to hear that dude! Rest up !!
@@skatterpro Thanks! hopoing to have a crack at these this afternoon
I did a 360 air on the mini ramp the other night just before I nodded off 😂
at 33 i learned rock to fakie just last sunday
Sick 👍
Your cool man
Great video!
Mine will always look a bit more old man though, I’ve made my peace with that 😂
Rock to fakie is my only ramp trick, it was my first real trick after 1 month of skate
I've always had a sneaky suspicion that there was way more levels to a rock to fakie and that I was doing it wrong. I would say i'm up to phase 4.
Good stuff, yeah It never ends, I’ve discovered another couple of details since making this video 😂 The phase 10 demo is the gold standard!!
LOL the style on nug_lord 😂I don't think you'd find one of them outside the UK.
Yeah, I can’t believe the style when I watch him skate. So relaxed during the heaviest tricks!! Level 11, one louder 😂
@@JonBishopSkate lol true
What wheels, trucks, and bushings are you running on that Andy Anderson board.?
Hi Josh
Many thanks for tuning in.
I run two setups using the AA deck for both
Street/mini = mini logo 8.75 trucks, stock bushings and 55mm OJ Winkowski
Bowl = 159 Indy, bones Medium hardcore bushings, 58mm spitfire OG classics
Great content - imagine this concept for every ramp trick 👍🏻PS I’m at phase 4
Wicked, it’s a fun phase! I hung out there for quite a while.
Any tips for me because my local only has quarter piped ,no mini ramps or banks with coping on and I'm finding it hard to learn
Hey dude, yeah it’s proper hard to learn on the big stuff. I had to go as small as possible with full pads to get over the fear ?
@@JonBishopSkate yeah I do the same but am skint atm so can't even buy pads atm😂😂😂😭
A few things you can improve on that trick, and on all type of riding, especially riding backward (/fakie):
- front foot should be over the bolts, and perpendicular with the board (not diagonal);
- unlock the arms while riding, doing that tricks the arms should never be "attached" with your body;
- always look the direction you`re going, if you`re coming down the "rock`n roll", you must look down (that`s why you fall sometimes;
- if in doubt, body weight as low as possible (will be lot more stable), you`re riding too stretch;
But keep up with this good work. 🙂
Thanks for the advice
Dangers of rock to fakie eat shit then breaking my elbow and tearing a ligament in my arm all good now that’s why I’m here to get this trick
Crikey! Yeah it’s a scary one I found! Go get it !
A risk you forgot to mention : ankle sprain and fracture of 5th metatarsal of the back foot. i should have followed your phases and do baby steps rather than insisting 🤦♂️. Now it healed, i am ready to give myself a 2nd chance for that nirvana 🤘
Crikey, sounds like a nasty one?! Good to hear you are back on it !!
Which skatepark is that mine is way to small
Hey dude
The indoor stuff is all filmed at Prevail in Bournemouth
The pool is in Newquay.
The bowl stuff is all filmed at Duck Lane in Bournemouth
Ok thankyou I go to broad ridge Heath skatepark it’s tiny compared to yours
I'm 51, started skating at 49. Now entering phase 4, took me a very long time to get there. Some days I make them all, some days I make none and need to go back to the drawing board. I must say that doing them with risers seems a bit harder.
