I am so scared of this trick. I have had a lot of bails because of this trick in the past and it has kinda stopped me from doing it. I am not usually like this when it comes to tricks but this one is so scary for me.
1:15 back right, whats that, looks like a concrete block with 10 foot of vert on the outside? is there a video of some nutcase riding (falling) down it.
I was really scared of doing this, but when I actually started trying to do it it realy was not that bad. You just need to ride up and get comfortable going down fakie, then you go for it.
That mini-bowl is sick! I wish we had some over here and not those prefabricated mini-ramps that are not quite mini. I think a good way to practice rock-to-fakie is doing the tap and lift with the front truck on the transition and then moving higher and higher up to the coping. Same idea works with the tail-/nosestall
I'm just havig a blast, guys! I can't wait to get to a mini ramp and start practicing too. I've never skated a mini ramp in my whole skateboarding lifetime. haha This video made my day!!
rock to fakie is so hard but ima try to learn it more. ive done it twice but that was a month ago, so basically i gotta re learn it then master it. but commitment is hard. two months in right now, visit the skate park twice a week
When I tried this today I always stepped of with my back foot and rolled down a few times on my front foot only. Almost died a few times too. I wish I could do a non Jason Park Rock to Fakie :-)
You guys are lucky. In my state ( new jersey ) we don't have skate bowls and stuff like that. All the skateparks are ok but I wish they were better. And the skateparks are far from each other and my parents wont let me go to the skateparks in newark just cause it might be a bad neighbourhood. We dont even have a car yet....
i find that as soon a your front truck hits the ledge you turn your head half way then when you take it off you turn it fully around and look behind you, it makes it much easier to balance
Quick question...the hardest part of this trick is completing the actual "rock." I can only do the tap like you did at the beginning. I push off the coping with my front foot to make sure my front truck clears on the way back down. My problem is when I drop in I'm going so fast that my back truck almost clears the coping, so I can't control that tap and I'm forced to actually rock. How do you deal with that feeling of limbo when your back truck lifts off the inside of the ramp to rock? You just lean back...small fakie manual when the wheels touch again...hope for the best? It feels like dropping in backwards from a boardslide position...it's terrifying.
Could you make a tutorial where you teach how to do rock to fakie on a ramp 5 ft or higher? I can do these on small ramps so anything over 3 ft I have major issues and need help.
I started doing these on 5 foot half pipes and I took really hard slammsand I still can't do them now since I've watched this video I'm going to try it again
Last trick in the park before i went back home was this and i sprained my foot :P before i landed it 5 times in a row. But this without the rail at the ramp ( i don't know how its called :P ) is very easy when you start trying the Rock to fakie ;) Sorry for my bad english i am from germany :D
i love how in every vid before teaching lance the trick first aaron scares the crap out of him telling him hes gonna die and then laughs at him when hes too scared to do it XD
Aaron made it seem like it was a dangerous trick. I did it first try when i was like 9. But then again i was young so i didnt think i was gonna get hurt so i just did it
Easy well today I lent forward coming down instead of leaning back and hit my head and fractured / broke my elbow arm is now in a sling so I’m out of skateboarding for a few weeks 😔
I did this today on a mini halfpipe i think i got too much speed because i went up and balanced on the board for 1 second, then went back down lifted my trucks over but put the weight on my front foot and slid out and slammed on my side :(
Im 6'1 at about 140 pounds,i was wondering if being tall like me would make it harder for me to ollie or do flip tricks becouse of the hight and by being tall its a bit harder to get air with the board, please someone reply!
I was trying this trick, I couldn't get it so I asked a my friend to show me how he did it. He did a few nice ones, then fell back and fractured his wrist so badly the bone went straight through the skin. Kind of never want to try it again
Lance is lucky... I have to learn rock to fakies with big wheels, high trucks, and a quarterpipe that has the coping sticking out 1 or 2 inches from the ramp.
TheSmallLavaz You are way luckier... Big wheels are what most people skate with for ramp skating, high trucks aswell and if you can rock to fakie that quarter, you can rock to fakie any quarter :D
It's wild to me that he can look so uncomfortable dropping in and so comfortable hitting that immediate rock to fakie xD I can drop into a 10' bowl confidently but I can't nut up and rock to fakie on even a mini ramp yet.
anyone else see him nail the tail stall perfectly?...
if someone else see this, reply

Yup
That's so weird, it took Lance heaps of trys to drop in but it only took me 3, and it took me heaps of trys to rock to fakie but it only took him 3.
Lance is progressing too fast,he needs to be eliminated.
It took me 3 solid hours and SO MANY FALLS to do that.
@@flammablewater1755 3 hours isnt that bad to learn a trick some people take dsys
Lance is getting so good, he really looks like a skater now, his first try drop-in rock to fakie was awesome.
Lance never bends his knees when hes skating, he should fix that.
especially when dropping in
Well only when he is pumping he should do that
@@natemotionstudios8631 you bend your knees a lot more than just pumping
I am so scared of this trick. I have had a lot of bails because of this trick in the past and it has kinda stopped me from doing it. I am not usually like this when it comes to tricks but this one is so scary for me.
me too i did it once and bailed really hard and now im scared to death of it
try blunts... you'll learn to fall REALLY hard
Feel your pain, been skating for a year and will not commit to this trick. Doing my nut in
Dude! Get skater trainer pros!
Wear wrist guards and it'll make it less scary.
Anybody else see him do a sick tail stall at 4:00
This dude is learning insanely fast! So much respect to Lance right now
1:15 back right, whats that, looks like a concrete block with 10 foot of vert on the outside? is there a video of some nutcase riding (falling) down it.
did lance land that tail stall

That skatepark looks dope. I wanna skate there.
Lance successfully drops in every time, WOOHOO 🥳
hey aaron can you tell us what board setup you use?
like what trucks what wheels etc
would be great
Lance is killing it. I noticed a tail stall after one of the rock to fakies. The clip was cut short but I assume it was landed from what I saw
lance is maybe one of the fastest learners I have ever seen I wish I was like that haha
rock to fakie is so hard but ima try to learn it more. ive done it twice but that was a month ago, so basically i gotta re learn it then master it. but commitment is hard. two months in right now, visit the skate park twice a week
It's awesome how lance progresses so fast
This guy has talent! He learns so damn fast.
This bowl is so mellow and sweet wish we had one like this instead of it being massive
When I tried this today I always stepped of with my back foot and rolled down a few times on my front foot only. Almost died a few times too. I wish I could do a non Jason Park Rock to Fakie :-)
impressive!
I am not quite there yet. great to see this.
Build yourself up to it

Pretty awesome Lance! starting to look more comfortable on the board.

Hey Aaron I'm 35 and brand new to skateboarding. I surf everyday and want to learn transition skating. Where is this bowl you're at?
I started doing these on 5 foot half pipes and I took really hard slammsand I still can't do them now since I've watched this video I'm going to try it again
at 4:00 did lance actually land that noise stall?
Hey Aaron!
I just wanted to tell you that i really like all the live skate supports :)
holy f*k Lance learns really fast! Keep it going Lance ! :D
Hey im from brazil and i would like how your setup? Thanks
Can do done please tell me why their boards sound so light?
When I drop in and go for a rock to fakie, I get too much speed and my back trucks hit the coping. What can I do to prevent this?
i relate to lance most when he claps for himself
3:59 did lance tail stall?
That bowl looks sick!
I’m jealous of lance ive been working on rock to fakie for ages and I just can’t get it I don’t know why? If you have any tips I’d appreciate that.

i want to live in amarica
no you don't, not with the new president's!
All the ramps/bowls around me are too big for beginners. Are there any other obstacles I can practice my rock to fakies on until I'm more brave?
No
This video really helped me!! And I love your videos they help me a lot!

Yes thanks so much for posting this, I was gonna message you and ask if you could! Thanks bro, backing you from England!!
Last trick in the park before i went back home was this and i sprained my foot :P before i landed it 5 times in a row. But this without the rail at the ramp ( i don't know how its called :P ) is very easy when you start trying the Rock to fakie ;)
Sorry for my bad english i am from germany :D
Managed to do this a couple times today
its been taking me forever to do this. i think its because my halfpipe is close and i dont have anything smaller and i have to drop in first
i love how in every vid before teaching lance the trick first aaron scares the crap out of him telling him hes gonna die and then laughs at him when hes too scared to do it XD

Kind of never want to try it again
I just learnt rock to fakies today😆😆😆
I wish I had a small bowl where I live I needed to learn all this in a bigger bowl then that.
Lance is lucky... I have to learn rock to fakies with big wheels, high trucks, and a quarterpipe that has the coping sticking out 1 or 2 inches from the ramp.
Sketchy man
TheSmallLavaz You are way luckier... Big wheels are what most people skate with for ramp skating, high trucks aswell and if you can rock to fakie that quarter, you can rock to fakie any quarter :D
what is AARON's skateboard brand?
ReVive

Good job Lance!!
Too scared to learn this mg skatepark consists of 4ft ramps and a 6ft and I don't want to try it I get scared when I reach the other side...
How to 5050 on coping I need help on that
Our smallest mini ramp is like 6 or 7 feet
How did he do a fakie stall
It's wild to me that he can look so uncomfortable dropping in and so comfortable hitting that immediate rock to fakie xD I can drop into a 10' bowl confidently but I can't nut up and rock to fakie on even a mini ramp yet.
1:55 Yesssssssssssssssss go lance 🤘🏻🕶🎸
