Lovely video despite the poor weather. I did the DHW last year and absolutely loved it. Once i was over the Howgills, I made my own way cross country to Orton and then to Shap before finishing in Ravenglass on the coast. I think it's one of my favourite little backpacks I've done.
Yeah, you got some proper pants weather didn't you? Glad it all brightened up when I joined you in Oxenholme. Shame you couldn't wild camp. Might have been a different experience had the weather been kinder to you. Still looked beautiful though.
It's grim up North mate! Yeah, had the weather been like what we had in the Lakes, I'm sure it would have helped. Looking forward to getting stuck into all that footage.
Hey Paul, Can you please remind me the fanny pack your using which you attached to your long haul 50 pack with the sea to summit buckles? Keep up the great work. Your review has me ordering my new back pack. .
Awesome choice! Hope you love it! I was using a LiteAF fanny pack with the S2S buckles, but I've since changed to a Hyperlite Mountain Gear Versa. I find it works quite a bit better. Once the waist belt is detached from the fanny pack, you can thread the waist belt of the Long Haul through the back of the fanny pack. It sounds complex, but I find it works pretty well.
Thank you, I appreciate your kind words! According to several emails I've received, I'm not getting views because I'm not paying someone to do what I could do with Google Adwords. I just enjoy the hiking and (most of the time) making the videos. Appreciate you watching and taking time to comment 👍
@@PaulandaPack I'll be watching your output mate. It's not that, I've run a few TH-cam promos on my content and they bring through subs, but not views. Reckon there is something else going on in your case. Worth investigating.

Thanks, the weather was definitely a bit of a downer this time. Sounds like a nice route you did!
Great video mate- some fantastic scenery. Really well edited.
Cheers fella, didn't enjoy this as much as I'd hoped but it was a good warm up for the Lake District Tour.

@@PaulandaPack Thank you Paul, much appreciated and best of luck with all your adventures!!!
This is good content Paul, nicely edited, paced, good colour grading - how much you're getting so few views?

What a lovely scenery, outstanding episode my friend! Place looks great!
Many thanks! Could have done with a bit of ☀️ but the Dales are nice to hike.
