You and me both! I have a buddy of mine who bought his collection back in the 90s. He still has receipts from Babbage's where he paid $20 bucks for some of his games. Absolutely insane how crazy these prices are now.

I have to thank you for talking about and showing 2 of my all time Neo Geo favorites: Garou Mark of the Wolves, and Windjammers!!! Real 'Bout and Real 'Bout Special are good too, but something about Real 'Bout 2 Newcomers is my favorite (of those) and I would put that one up against SF III: Third Strike!

A JPN game will be in Japanese language spoken and text on the screen, while USA releases will have English language spoken and text on the screen. Isn't that the main reason why you're going for a USA set? Plus USA and JPN cartridges aren't interchangeable into each others console, correct? Thank you!
Thanks and I appreciate the sub. Congrats on the console purchase! So AES games themselves are region free they hold the Japanese and English translations on the cartridge. There are still a handful of games that SNK only did Japanese text and those games were never seen in the US. The US AES consoles will play games in English even if it was the Japanese version (outside of the handful of exclusives) mainly the cart (sticker, manual, and insert). Japanese consoles will play everything in Japanese, but you can have a Unibios chip installed in the console to play with English text. I hope that helps. Happy to help.
Garou, Last Blade 2, and Real Bout Fatal Fury are the only games I would even consider paying that much $ for. Such amazing games. SNK just do one reprint run please 😢.
if SNK starts reprinting i hope they evergreen and never stop reprinting; just have them available on the eshop forever , even if you have to waitlist and they make them to order 😭

Hey! I’m still new to this I started posted videos back in January. From my experience I’d say 3 three things 1: Consistency is Key, 2: What is the message and story you want to relay to the viewer?, 3: Don’t let people hate on your passion if this is something you really enjoy. There is so much more. I’ve learned a lot from watching Think Media on TH-cam, how to start a channel, video quality etc. and Mr Wrightway has been really supportive in my journey as well. I look forward to seeing your channel!

Great video, also you might be interested in the game Razion, both Japanese and U.S copies arn't cheap, they are up there in price as they are very scarce. Also, Razion is the biggest cart game ever made into existence, weighing at a hefty 1500+ megs, to put it into perspective, your biggest n64 game was RE2 (Resident Evil 2), that weighed at 512 megs. When you have a chance, look up Razion trailer #1 720p. There are 2 trailers available. Hope you do some videos on Razion on your future videos. On a 1990 hardware, Razion will blow both of your shoes, including your socks to kingdom come, when it comes to technical achievement.

Also, I believe on both games, each cart is specially serialized, and also made to order, specially built pcb, but again, I don't think ngdevteam still make these anymore, there is also a Razion EX game for the N switch, you could ask them but highly doubt it if they still make the games in cartridge format. If your interested, there is also a tear down of the neo geo cart game: Razion, very interesting, search for it, look up: Looking Inside A Razion LE (NG:Dev.Team) MVS CART.
