    Hi great video..I have an issue with my window squeaking on the same car here. The regulator still works its just squeaking when opening the window. Would I be able to open the panels up and just lubricate it to fix the issue and if so what parts should I lubricate or would the whole regulator need to be changed. Thanks

      You might try lubing the 2 vertical channels that that glass travels in, Lightly. Beyond that you will probably be replacing the window regulator

    just replace regulator on my 2009 cls 550 with MB regulator. Driver side. Window butts up at top of window but have a 1/16 gap at the side were it meets the rubber molding. Any ideas?

      Loosen the glass clamps and slide the glass over a bit. Might take a few tries to get it even

    I I have a 2004 C240 Mercedes-Benz and on my passenger front window. I need assistance with installing the window regulator back into it. I took it out and put it back in and so I need just a little bit to help me with it can you please reach out thank you so much the first video. I love you on TH-cam, speak at all.       If you are in Tampa or Sarasota I can assist. If you are out of my area do a web search for power window repair and the city you are in. You should be able to find someone who you can hire for this repair.

    At least you didn't have to deal with rivets. I had to drill out rivets on my Mercedes E Class W212. I replaced it with good'ol fashion nuts and bolts to make life so much easier in the future.

    This is great thanks but now I wish I'd just bought a whole new regulator instead of just the cable (mine shredded) as re-cabling makes the job even harder. At least I know how to get the door panel off lol

      I've never had luck replacing the cable by itself, and I'm pretty good at this

    Thank god it’s not rivets like on the c300 I was worried when it started making noise on my 14 CLS550 but thanks to your vid I’m no longer worried :)

    Hey Tony , thanks for the video but you need to edit it and put the lower panel removal “ coin holder” in the first part of the video instead of scanning through the whole video, to figure out it just pops off.

    I did the passenger side and now have to do the drivers side too. watch for sharp edges. If you mark where the bolts are holding the glass before you release it, you can save some time with alignments. CLS550 2007. Wonder why the drivers side cost more than the Passenger. Gen Mercedes 300 drivers side , Autohaus.

    Good video. Helped quite a bit. I had to reset my window module after I completed the regulator replacement because the window would notch down when I opened the door, but wouldn't notch up when I closed the door. The reset is done by pulling up on the driver's power window switch for about 10 seconds with the ignition turned on.

    Thanks mate - freaked my out a bit having a crack at doing mine ( didn’t take all the plugs out before removing the panel either / holding my breath to see if it’s still gonna work

    Hi, I'm having an issue with my passenger side window,,, it wouldn't go all the way up or down and then when I would raise it up it would automatically go down but not all the way. eventually after trying to mess with it a while i heard something crack and the window went all the way up but wont go down and can now I hear something in there moving but only a little bit and it stops? is that the problem you had with your window?

      Sounds like the window regulator but pull the door panel and take a look

    Great video although I wish you showed how to install a tracking kit I had a major headache trying to adjust the cable come to find out it was the left piece that was broken all along the piece that holds the little cover on the wire 🤷🏻‍♂️

      If you refer to the kits where you restring the cables even I can not do that.
