Join co-hosts Aaron Leventhal and Jennifer McGuire as they continue Hero Arts 50th anniversary celebration with a LIVE series of chats with crafty friends! Tonight we have the one and only Gina K!
It’s so refreshing to learn about other crafters and how they got started in the paper craft and stamping industry. Aaron, thanks for bringing this about, along with Jennifer. I’m a. If fan of all three of you. Been watching Jennifer and Gina for years and it never fails to inspire me. I work in a small store called Scrappycraft/ Artist Attic here in Phoenix, Oregon. We’ve ordered from Hero Arts and Gina K, the name might e familiar and we just love the products. Been working there for a little over 2years , I so appreciate the job everyone is happy when they come in and happier when they leave, I like that feeling. I spent most of my working days in the medical field and I really liked it but Covid changed a lot of things especially medical it got so stressful, I finally semi retired and just work for our art store. I look forward to the next video to learn more about other folks in the crafting industry. Such a nice concept. See y’all soon ❤️
So WONDERFUL 50 years and I've been stamping for 30 0f these years! My store items are the Hero Arts, I still have a ton of the catalogs you could get wayyyy back in the day! I love having them and the wood mounted stamps from the early days

So interesting to hear your story, Gina, and I really want the pattern of the card pack you made to hold your photos! PLEASE!!!!! We had the same start, with Stampin' Up! I only wanted the owl punch. Some thousands of dollars later......still with them.
what wonderful stories. Gina K and I had rubbed elbows so many years ago. I'm a Madison girl and a Stampin' Up gal. I still do card to this day,. Some 20 years later.
I love your series! Any plans to invite Kevin Nakagawa of Stampscapes? He is into the history of craft rubber stamping and he talks quite a bit about his experience in the industry on his YT channel, from back in the 90s. Would love to see him be part of this series. 😊
I "found" Hero Arts in 1995. My Sister was a Stampin' Up demonstrator and got me started rubber stamping and card making then. To this day Hero Arts is one of my favorite stamp companies. IMHO Stampin' Up is really going downhill now. It's best days, imho, were when the sisters were still working together.
