Another fantastic episode! Thank you for putting these together Aaron and Jennifer!
Another AMAZING crafty chat with icons! I love both of these ladies’ work so much!
I love you all so much. I feel like I know you all...I know I don't but you all share so much of yourselves. I just adore you and this addiction of ours'!
I've been stamping and making cards since 1999. I live on the East Coast of MD neat the beach town of Ocean City, MD. There was one stamp store in the town called Seaside Stampin" Ink, owned by Kathy and Joe Krivitski. They had a vulcanizer and made their own red rubber stamps, sold a huge variety of other company stamps, offered in store classes. Several years later they started sponsoring a weekend convention every May and did it for 20 or so years. Owners of other stores would come and sell stamps and tools and other products, they would offer classes for a small fee, and it was a wonderful chance to meet up with people who had attended the previous years. We kept in touch throughout the year and looked forward to going to the convention the next spring, or to meet at one in PA or OH or somewhere not too far away. The happiness and joy these provided for everybody was phenomenal. Those were wonderful years. And now I seem to be attached to the You Tube stampers who demonstrate online. This craft certainly helped me after I retired from teaching for 30 years because I had no idea what I would do with all my free time. It has filled a need.
Love these Hanging With Hero episodes!
Loved this discussion so much tonight! My favorite part…”refreshing joy”! Such a great description of Cathy Z! Truly, you are all refreshing joy to me! I’m so thankful to be part of this amazing community!🩷
Love you all!🤟🏼
I loved those Clean and Simple Scrapbooking books and I still own them! Timeless!
Find it interesting that so many people use a stamping platform. In general I haven't had good success with cling rubber stamps using a stamp platform so I rarely use a stamp platform.
Hi, can’t wait for the beautiful stories we will hear this live!
I'll never understand why Creating Keepsales went out of business. They had 400 HUNDRED THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS! It was NOT failing. I was so disappointed. And Simple Scrapbooks was my favorite. I remember getting it in the mail right before a trip out of town and I was excited to be able to read it in the car which soon turned into loud cursing when I read 'This is our last issue..." at the top of the magazine. It was a very sad day. Scrapbooks Today is SOOOOO expensive. It is not accessible to everyone. I like Scrapbooking and Cards and I buy it at Barnes and Noble. Is that the one that comes with stamps or stencils or paper? Love that idea. Gets me every time. Barnes and Noble is the best place other than Joanns to find crafting mags.
Have you seen unmounted rubber stamps (non-cling mount) using TackN'Peel or something else being used on stamp platforms? I have a lot of unmounted rubber stamps that I bought at stamp shows and online. The ones I have used I have put on blocks with TackN'Peel.
