Make and Paint Scale Model Stowage & Tarps Painting Tutorial

- In this Tutorial I show how I paint and weather stowage like tarps and jerry cans for scale models and diroamas. I paint my self sculpted tarps out of green stuff two part putty using acrylic paints by starting dark and creating contrast by getting lighter.
Metal stowage like ammunition boxes or jerry cans were not only painted but I made some sponge and brush chipping followed by enamel rust effects.
Some additional steps were using metal paints and metal pigments to prepare some parts for the upcoming steps.
I hope this step by step guide is helpfull for one or two of you and I can show some techniques for beginners and veterans. Please let me know what you think about it. Another excellent video. One question I've always had. I've seen many WW2 photos that show the white crosses on water cans, as they were used in North Africa (where water was precocious) . But I don't recall seeing the white crosses used in mainland Europe. Was that a standard German practice in the East or West?
Thanks again, happy you like my work🙏 to the markings, as far as I know that was common for all water jerry cans to clearly see the contents. In the modern German army there is also a regulation in which colour the content has to be marked, and it's still a white cross for water. I don't know if there was a regulation in ww2 times, but as far as I know that was not just Africa stuff but common.
