nice method! I use old gauze bandages to create camouflage nets. knot in strands and soak in diluted acrylic paint. When they are dry, pull the threads apart a little and cut off the straight ends to make them look old, then follow almost the same steps as with the paper.. moisten with water and white glue, place, shape, let dry
thanks for the tip!
Wow very cool mate. Ty for this video. 😊
This is a good technique. I've been watching different videos about building models. I'll give this a try.
Cool thanks for watching
I Add the Paint in the same mix of water & Glue and let dry or cure the paper or tissue defect on the model
Good tutorial for cheap tarps, wipes can be used as well just be sure no design or writing is visible.. hair nets from deli/ meat departments can be used for artillery camo nets, plane and an OP tent area. Pull to loosen so not too tight, water down glue solution same use for folds..
Cool man, good idea thanks for sharing 👍
Love that idea! Thanks!
Awesome information my friend keep up the good work
Thank you
Thank you. I am in the process of studying and learning this technique.
The triangle is actually quite good for a German zeltbahn.
Cool tutorial.
Really useful, thank you! Hoping to use this technique on my churchill!
Thank you great to hear that you found it helpful.
@@jlpmodels2119 certainly did! It looks great too!
I tried the tip from LPJ channels for the tarps it's that VMS paper shopper and a post it note! You'd think it would be to thick eh bit turns out fantastic and so realistic! I've tried everything from PVA and tissue but this VMS stuff just waw!
gonna try this, thanks
THXs for this amazing tutorial! Instead of paper, I would use some old fabric remnants...
Im going to try this on my garden diorama thanks.
That's cool I'm happy you found the video helpful.
Have you tried to use the end of a paint brush instead of tweezers to manipulate the wet paper? Thinking it might not tear so easily.
Awesome I think it will help me a lot
Nice!
My experience is to soak the paper in water only no Pva necessary imho. Therefore It won’t stick. Packaging paper s a bit thicker it ‚ll give good results too.
Thank you.......... great idea
Thanks mate really appreciate you watching the video.
Legend bro thanks
Was that a bug crawling at the end?
Driver in the Tiger tank “ Hans deine Scheiße Plane auf der Kanone blendet mich”.
White glue? Is that wood or pva glue please
Most wood glues are PVA, but if that’s all you’ve got, make sure it’s the water soluble kind and it’ll work like a charm.
I have used 0.3mm self adhesive lead sheeting. It crumples and creases very realistically and is much easier to apply.
