Gosh, you can really see how much mark’s long speech about his upbringing on TH-cam and feelings of not knowing what he wanted to do with his career really hit Schlatt. All jokes aside, Mark is such an inspirational speaker. The amount of times he's been able to motivate just by talking about what got him into TH-cam, how he drives on pure spite and the need to create, and how he can never see himself retiring because he never wants to stop making things. He's just genuinely such a cool person, and I'm glad he was able to give Schlatt and Ted a little bit of perspective on closing chapters.

When Mark and Schlatt were talking about coping with reaching all your goals and that feeling of “What now?” it really spoke to me. I’m a collegiate athlete who is going to graduate in May, and I have reached my goals of being a good student and athlete, and worked so hard to get to where I am athletically. I am at the peak of my physical and mental performance, and yet, my sport is ending for me and I can’t do anything about it. (I play softball, there’s no real professional league so college is pretty much the farthest you can go.) I had that feeling of “What now” as well, and have been going through it this week coping with that. But this episode really helped me stay hopeful for when my job that I have lined up after college (I’m also a computer science major, lol) begins, and I am now feeling much more hopeful for starting a new chapter. You guys helped me realize that I should be fortunate and grateful that I get to retire at my peak, rather than be forced to retire because my body is damaged and hurting beyond repair. Sometimes, things must end no matter how much you love it, and I’m glad that I get to go out on my own terms. Just like Chuckle Sandwich, and just like Unus Annus. Thank you guys.

Schlatt and ted umder pressure because markiplier is famous, markiplier obviously not wanting to be there and doing the act of being overly famous and annoyed, charlie trying to come back and mark doing a restraining order act, tucker getting upset at charlie and taking him to the ground, and everything else in between is just perfect.
the slow climb from the bit into mark's speech about earned "value" of living life, and ted and schlatt's kind of momentary stunned silence, was crazy. this episode is long and yet it feels like ive suddenly stepped off the clown bus and tripped into a march or something
the part where mark was talking about how he had breakdowns in the warehouse while working on his project was exactly me trying to complete my design degree, for the whole year i come up on problems where things just don't work right with seemingly no explanation and then it stresses me out if i can't find a solution and spend all day/weeks trying to fix it instead of working towards creating the actual thing. and what he said about the most worrying part being the fact that it's setting you back from your goals, it's nice to hear someone like markiplier who i've looked up to for years struggles with the same thing as i used to think it only happened to me :P

Long time lurker here, I have watched EVERY single episode of this podcast and yet I have never laughed as hard as this singular episode. There are so many layers that make this genuinely one of the funniest pieces of comedy I have ever consumed. I think the thing that sends this joke the hardest is the emphasized dead air between speaking. The awkward silence is only amplified dare I say, markiplied, by it being truly silent.

I'm listening to this episode and let me tell you it is actually amazing the wall of sound that the big guy is making with his random gasps and vocalizations.
I swear Mark is a genius! In his podcast where he played PowerWash Simulator with "Schlink" he was shocked by him. Now after realizing that schlingus is always playing a character Mark decided to do the same and he absolutely killed it!
