As someone who's been a big fan of Trolls since the first movie, the fandom blowing up like this is a lot to take in tbh. Don't get me wrong I LOVE that these movies are finally getting positive attention after years of hate and that there are tons of new fans, but I just didn't expect it to get THIS big so fast y'know? I watch the first movie way back in 2016 with my mum and I cried so much I don't know what scene did it to me likely at the end, but I think the reason why was that year was hell for me so to see a movie full of hope and joy just was something I really needed at the time. If you want a very long and very thorough fic about broppy's entire relationship, before and after they got together, Ive currently been reading Picturebook romance by Dreamsinger. I havent even dived much into other fics on ao3 yet b/c i'm continuously just reading that one rn ahdahf Warning: It does have smut but i'm like 30 chapters in and havent hit anything super explicit yet so you could always stop be4 that. And the author does switch to 1st person only for Branch's POV (which was almost a deal breaker for me, i hate 1st person😭 ) but they explain why and its not bad one you get used to it.
Nah I hated crimp. I know it was heavily implied that she was mistreated but everything feels like she was also an accomplice. I hated the fact that everyone just straight up decided V&V were the only offenders just because Crimp cried in front of them lmao. Didn't even do a quick investigation and decided to put two teenagers in jail and leave the ONLY adult run free.

As someone who's been a big fan of Trolls since the first movie, the fandom blowing up like this is a lot to take in tbh. Don't get me wrong I LOVE that these movies are finally getting positive attention after years of hate and that there are tons of new fans, but I just didn't expect it to get THIS big so fast y'know? Also that it took this franchise 3 movies for it to happen is interesting to say that least (especially when the fandom's been saying these movies were good the whole time, but now it's "cool" and thus okay for everyone to like)

I dislike seeing people say things like “Didn’t we all agree that the trolls movies sucks?” Like dude not everyone did just because you didn’t like it and you’ve heard others not like it doesn’t mean everyone didn’t like it. I will admit that I wasn’t obsessed until the third movie but I still liked the others. And even if that were true who cares if the third movie got suddenly hyped up.

I also kinda just revolve my life around music and it's part of the core of my being at this point so naturally I got super invested in these stories, whoops

I watch the first movie way back in 2016 with my mum and I cried so much I don't know what scene did it to me likely at the end, but I think the reason why was that year was hell for me so to see a movie full of hope and joy just was something I really needed at the time. But I had no idea a fandom would spawn this massive from it so at some point I need to dive into it and see all the cool creative stuff that's been made and such.

I was 9 when the first trolls movie came out I loved it sm, I was really sad when no one else felt the same way I did BUT NOW the 3rd movie came out and everyone loved it and I don't blame them and I'm glad 7 years later, I'm 16 and people are feeling the same feeling I did when I was 9 and I'm very happy :)
