Place is gem man it needs to be a historic place and preserved for the future. It’s in pretty nice condition for how old it is so it can be saved. Just want it to be restored not changed into apartments. It’s history and I think it should be with the church again. I love the place really cool
Man I forgot how much I missed these videos. You really found a rare gem here, Josh. I love that you do what you can to respect the place but also show it in a beautiful way to bring it to life for just a little longer.
I've loved what you've done with Beyond the Dark and Overnight with Elton and the guys bit this just hits different. All your strictly abandoned explorations seem to just dig into the soul of buildings and I love it. Love seeing the places you get to see that I can't yet- keep doing it man
The passion for the adventure and exploration is felt through the video. How Josh puts it into the video is excellent as we felt like we’re there exploring together!
I love this channel. I can see so many places while not getting my butt out of home😂😂 AND it's wonderful to see that making these videos makes Josh so happy. He's so passionate about it!
Great explore! IV you got to the dentist, and need novacan (spelling), the needles are that big, and they do still make glass blue cl windows, they are starting to make a come back
Josh this place is so amazing. 20:12 look at the nun on the far right. She has a very scary look. But what I noticed was the face the branches & leaves are making on the left side of her head! 😳 36:32-34 in my left ear I heard a HI or HEY!
I love beyond the dark so much but when you do an abandoned it just hits different because its been a while and they are so interesting to see how its all left and the history ect... I love all your videos sm 💓
I can honestly say I don't feel a haunting vibe in this building for the video. I feel a sense of calm and peace. Well done, making it possible for all to see this historical landmark Josh! Awesome video.
You are literally my favorite TH-camr. Never stop doing what you love, never stop explore. You're doing such an amazing job. Love from another Explorer 💜
Amazing video Josh! When I see places like this, can you imagine when it was still thriving and all the stories and lives that were lived there. So much history that no one knows and it makes it so fascinating and eerie at the same time. Reminds me of a convent I stayed at during a school 'retreat'.
Love your channel so much , the videos you create are like no others, love how you keep it 100% real , been a fan of you and your videos from the start , we can all see how passionate you are about exploring and showing the world your findings, please never stop doing what you do, much love, all the way from England, Coventry 🏴x
What a find! That pumpkin at 27:58 is worth a lot of money 💰. Amazing. The Petericks (on YT) are restoring an ancient convent in France .. this place has the same vibes except not as old. The crosses were probably for making rosaries.
Hi Josh. Don't know if you're able to actually read all these comments, but... ok, I found that in 2020 it was sold and the nuns, when they moved, went to Ohio. There were 69 nuns in the graveyard. ALL have been relocated to a local cemetery in that area of Buffalo. They petitioned the courts and were granted permission. It was said in one article that I found that it's supposed to be turned into a school; a second elementary school for the Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School. Fingers crossed they do that. It's such a shame to see all that history go to the curbside.. Love the video! I absolutely love stuff like this!! Thanks for sharing!
The rooms aren't giving me Cecil hotel vibes, it's actually giving me the Hell Hospital vibes where there were taxidermy birds! The place is great. Also THE PINK ELEVATOR 💗
This building and the architecture is absolutely beautiful. These are the type of finds that I would just LOVE to see. The courtyard is gorgeous. And I’m pretty sure those are wild blackberries. My grandma used to have them in her backyard in the woods. What an amazing find Josh! I’m so JEALOUS!!
Thanks for that, Josh. Such a beautiful place. A pity that the statue of the Blessed Mother (Jesus' mom) in the overgrown courtyard or the one on the tower (holding Jesus) couldn't have been moved to another Catholic church or school nearby. The last statue you saw was that of St. Dominic -- which wouldn't be uncommon as the convent was owned by the Dominican Nuns of the Perpetual Rosary. While the term sisters and nuns are used interchangeably -- you would really never see nuns as they were cloistered and rarely left the convent (thus you realized they were almost self-sustaining). Sisters you would see as nurses in hospitals or teachers in schools. The table that your friend thought scary merely held crucifixes (incorrectly identified as Jesus crosses) that used to be attached to rosary beads. All Catholic church altars have a saint's relic in them. This convent was also rumored to have a splinter of the True Cross (that would be wood from the cross that Christ was crucified). Good point about the convent / monastery once being surrounded by woods. These were always built away from the city population centers -- only the population eventually surrounded them. I must confess that I am a bit envious of you and your traveling -- perhaps hitting every country in the world could be on your bucket list as you are still young. More importantly you are following your bliss -- something that too few people do these days.
Thanks for another great explore Josh! Be interesting to do a night explore here. By the way, the posts at the back of the building that you suggested were to hang flowers on were more likely to wrap clothes lines on to have rows of their laundry hung out!
I absolutely love how you see all the tiny details that many would just miss. You look for all the things I would be so happy to see, your enthusiasm is a breath of fresh air, thank you for sharing!
This building really reminds me of my grandmother’s house. A year ago she moved into a house that’s 200 or + years old and she has some of her childhood furniture in it and it makes me feel like I’m in the 50s.
Hello Josh, I see how excited you are about this place and it’s history, I really believe it’s time that maybe you could help in telling our true history. The time period of Great Tartaria has a story that needs to be told for all the people that lost their lives in order to keep this story hidden. This place your in is one of the many palaces that belongs to these people. They were very advanced and lived without wars and used the free energy that was God given to our planet. Any time you find these unbelievable castles and palaces with such detailed architecture and large doors and windows, they came from This civilization of Tartaria. It’s an amazing story that will touch your heart and soul. Thank u for your videos, you present them well.
Hey Josh! I love your channel. I feel like I'm along for the exploring and the ghost hunts. Thankyou so much for the awesome content and the laughs and scares. I'm disabled on oxygen and don't get out very much but I've actually went on 2 ghost hunts. 1 to Goat Mans Bridge in Copper Canyon,Texas and I went to Trans Algany Lunatic Asylum
I have never traveled and when I see your videos I feel like I've been places and I love the way you think of everything as art even the peeling paint you are awesome Josh keep being awesome
Wow man, just wow. I’ve been watching you for years and watching your skills advance is amazing to see. You’re always putting out the best content. Keep it up josh!
Thank you Josh for another amazing video both myself and my daughter enjoy your videos. This place is amazing you are so lucky to be able to do this. We look forward to more 😃
Hi Josh, thank you so much for this SUPER CREEPY explore video, I was spellbound, I just loved it 💖 I send you all my deepest respect and love 💖 from Steen the danish boy from Bordeaux in France 🇫🇷 🇩🇰 💖
I absolutely love that it feels like we are exploring and learning about new abandoned places around the world and we can enjoy watching it from the comfort of our own homes. Although the history
Such a beautiful building. Loved the pics, and the commentary. I am not sure if it was your choice of music, but I felt really sad when you explored the basement. This has to be one of my favorite explores. Thanks for sharing.
This place truly is a gem wow! It is such a shame that it is just sitting there and not being restored! The dentist room looked crazy! I loved the ceilings in the actual chapel as well - beautiful. The mosaic work too 😍. Loved the video!!
Olive oil...formaldehyde (knocks u out)....boric acid(cleans)...sodium bicarb(baking soda). The paper was a M.A.R. =medication administration record. Those were iv catheters. Very cool stuff. Witch hazel....cools and disinfectant

Wow I was surprised to hear it was in New York. I just loved it all. Seeing the architecture and the steeple was amazing. Hope it can be deemed a historical place and be saved. It would be horrible to see the place torn down or fall into more disrepair. Awesome explore.
I love how Josh was worried about the lift (elevator) and was cautious at first. But proceeded to step in it because he was so innocently curious about it having a telephone phone 😂❤️
Josh this is the most beautiful thing I ever seen. I love stuff like this. It has amazing history behind it. The picture of the nuns looks really creepy. Thank you for sharing this. Much love to ya 🥰🥰
2:02 Just saying, private schools have been having far better results for the past several decades than the Public Education system, especially now with the hush hush nature of many public schools trying to go behind the backs of the parents, meanwhile private schools are very open and transparent, reviewing with parents the curriculum for the year, the open houses, the parent teacher conferences, and so on.
Those berries were Poke berries, very deadly when matured. Although if you catch/pluck Poke plants young, you can steam them/cook them in a pot and eat them. As soon as the red appears they are dangerous to consume and can be fatal. Also I enjoyed this video, I enjoy a lot of your vids. I respect your dedication and drive to keep exploring and trying new things. Incredible work as always! :) (Also I love Asylums the most, I hope to explore some of them one day. Asylums and Victorian style architecture have always been my favorite.)
This was excellent, it brought back memories of my past. All the things you wanted to know what they were and I Knew but we didn’t have a directed line. One of the things were the statue you called homey next to the last was St Francis of Assisi.
Oh, wow, what a beautiful place! :) Imagine how much it took to for them to create this place. It is so sad that this is abandoned and it really should be perserved as it is a historical, cultural and religious gem and should be saved for generations to come. I agree, I was shocked to hear this is in the US. It really looks European. :) I can't see me going to the US in the near future as it is such a long travel but this place.. I would really like to see it. So thank you for showing this for us and if nothing else, saving this for future generations to come in video format!
Josh has become a master storyteller. I wish he had his own series on Netflix or Hulu because he's truly mastered his craft over the years and perfected it to where he has you guessing where's his camera going next. Thanks Josh.
I know this isn't a haunted location investigation but at 11:12 there is a face in the lower half of the window (third window from the left on the top row) and then when you pan back at 11:16 its gone
Such a gorgeous place❤So great to see these places through your eyes Josh your the only one I love to watch!! That Courtyard is amazing and the Vines with berries is called Poke like the song lol Poke Salad Annie!! Poke my Mom loved to cook it but it has to be cut at a certain time. I am so in Awe with that place for you don't see anything like it anymore.. Thanks for the video!!
Awesome video content thanks for sharing this video with all of your fans from around The World and it’s beautiful how you are being respectful to investigate old Abandoned
The thing that amazes me about these places is what is left behind. Home movie films? A reel still left in projector! My curiosity would have been peaked at that moment.
36:10 That appears to be Saint Francis, one of the most venerated saints of my faith. Founder of four orders, patron of the Franciscan Order, animals, merchants, ecology, and so on. Almost every abbey and monastery i’ve been to has a statue of him.
Beautiful place. I love that you share the history, I love you excitement and I love that I get to see places and things I never would otherwise. Thanks Josh!
I missed watching your videos so this was really nice to watch while relaxing! Love that you go everywhere to show us stuff that we otherwise wouldn’t or can’t see. Keep up the good work!
Wow the movie projector brought back a lot of memories for me. We used to have one like that with a lot of home movies filmed in Super 8 that my parents took back in the 1960's all the way up to late 1970's. As for the movie in question, it's Sinister.
witch hazel is still something used nowadays, it has so many purposes. Many women who just gave birth use it to keep that area nice and clean and to help with the pain

The stonework is real high quality. It's almost like looking at a car built in the 1950's.They just don't do that anymore.
