Hi Josh, Chillingham Castle is my favourite place to talk to ghosts. I've spent 20 hours there running around in the dark 👀 You guys missed a trick though. The absolute BEST way to talk to John sage and Co is to turn off the lights and just listen.. hence why they were telling you to be quiet all the time. The main reason is because in that place they will actually talk to you in real time with their actual voices so you can hear it with your own two ears. It's an amazing place!!! You have to be quiet in between questions so that you can hear their response. It's like a whisper. Had you gone to the King Edward room you would have most likely been growled at which is very very audible. You got some awesome EVP responses though 👍 There are some friendly ghosts in there namely ellenor the little girl in the chapel and of course the witch who protects the place. If you ever go back there take a good old ouja.. they love to play that too. Enjoyed the video and channel mate.. keep it up ✅
The hanging tree gets loads of activity as well, you often forget how you got there or forget even leaving. Last year my siblings went and they kept getting a name in their head and when at the grave yard they kept being pulled to a certain grave and the name they kept getting in their head was the name on the grave 😶
I was reading: "The Torture Chamber which is open to the public contains all of Sage’s toys. However, you need to bare in mind that this is not the original torture chamber. The real torture chambers are located underneath the Tea Room (the Castle’s restaurant). They were sealed off for the public after a seance was performed there. The seance had a pretty terrifying ending, so to keep the danger inside it was closed up. Many human remains are still down there."
There is a rumor that the seance was performed by none other than Crowley and he unleashed a ton of spirits but then just left and allowed them to roam. I have been unable however to find any evidence of this yet.

I can't believe you guys finally went to Chillingham. Anyone from the North East of England knows how much of a big deal it is because Chilly is legitimately a dangerously haunted place, i would say it's the most actively haunted place on earth because of how much stuff happens so often. It's reliable if you want to experience activity. This series has been captivating, have loved every episode. Our country's heritage is so rich, you'll never run out of places to investigate.

I’m in Minnesota, USA where our weather ranges from sub zero & lots of snow in the winter..To warm humid sunshine in the summertime, with frequent thunderstorms & even many tornadoes. (A tornado destroyed a small town in Minnesota last night actually! With Grapefruit sized hail as well! Thankfully there were no injuries or fatalities. We have a great warning system with sirens here so we can get to a safe spot before the storms hit!) Anyway. New Zealand is on my bucket list as it looks absolutely gorgeous! Have a lovely Day! This Castle is so old , and still standing since the year 1000. Unbelievable. The owner did a wonderful thing by adding room's for visitors. That was one of the best videos ever. So SCARY and SPOOKY. Hate to break it to you guys… I’m an electrician, and those lights flickering are the result of swapping old halogen lamps for LED lamps and that dimmer switch likely doesn’t have a led compatible dimmer module

Zak Bagans is the biggest fraud in the paranormal community, and it’s an openly known thing. And his museum is at BEST a tourist trap, at worst it’s a shameful money making scam that preys on people who buy into his crap.
So after having watched the entire series, I think my favorite episode was still the RSS Discovery, followed closely by this video, and then the Inn. Was a great trip and I loved watching what y’all were doing in England. Hopefully y’all can do similar stuff like this back in the United States!
EASILY the best episode of the series. In fact, the best imo for Beyond the Dark! The evidence was just spot on and the ending was damn freaky that I kept saying, “holy shit,” over and over. Hey i think its right to stop there when it get scary becouse it can go on eaven greather level of dark power or energy and it could get dangerous if this was some ancient deamo.n it could do eaven more things if it gets more energy from their fear.,battery or negative toughts it gets in your head if you are weak :) u need protection on places like that. a good one.
i understand where u are coming from but heyy we need to understand that what is fun and entertaining for us from the screen but it can get really dark and dangerous for them after filming what we dont imagine at all

Top work Beyond the Dark Crew. Love the honesty. I used to do a lot of investigation around Australia, myself and a camera then kids happened. Though is awesome to see all the gadgets used these days, also confirmation of your experiences do have parallel to my own. But the gadgets confirm so much more compared to the experience. Also loved that you helped Steven bring himself back with gems and self balance. Good to see good practice with R.E.S.E.P.T, it's what it means to me!! Oh if you ever come down to Oz I'd love to join you. I miss it.
Legit the paranormal hang over is real AF! After I do investigations I can feel hungover for a couple of days and can get disturbed sleep or vivid dreams. It’s hard for people to understand and they often think it’s just lack of sleep but it’s so much more than that. I don’t know how you guys did so many in such a short time, no wonder you’re exhausted!!!! Next time definitely make sure you have 2-3days minimum break between each investigation. Can’t wait to see the BTS!!! ❤

I loved watching Josh’s abandoned videos back in the day, I also love paranormal investigations. I still remember when he did his first ghost video and he was super skeptical and now we’re here & this has been one of my favorite series on TH-cam. I’m so glad he started doing these videos, and unlike other TH-camrs that do these, I actually trust Josh because I was watching him years before he started doing anything paranormal. Love it.

Hate to break it to you guys… I’m an electrician, and those lights flickering are the result of swapping old halogen lamps for LED lamps and that dimmer switch likely doesn’t have a led compatible dimmer module

This series was incredible guys, you guys have properly grown to be legit ghost hunters. I believe you guys and the evidence you have got throughout the trip. The work you guys put in is phenomenal and it shows, you all deserve a massive break, a reset back to just exploring and abandoned. Then when you're ready come back for season 2! (Pleaaaaaase!) Plus if its another UK trip in Season 2, you must, MUST, visit The Bingley Arms (The real oldest pub in the UK) you all would love it and the stories had there! :D

Zak Bagans is the biggest fraud in the paranormal community, and it’s an openly known thing. And his museum is at BEST a tourist trap, at worst it’s a shameful money making scam that preys on people who buy into his crap.
So after having watched the entire series, I think my favorite episode was still the RSS Discovery, followed closely by this video, and then the Inn. Was a great trip and I loved watching what y’all were doing in England. Hopefully y’all can do similar stuff like this back in the United States!
EASILY the best episode of the series. In fact, the best imo for Beyond the Dark! The evidence was just spot on and the ending was damn freaky that I kept saying, “holy shit,” over and over. Keep it up guys, I can’t wait for season 2 and take a much needed break as y’all need to. Hey i think its right to stop there when it get scary becouse it can go on eaven greather level of dark power or energy and it could get dangerous if this was some ancient deamo.n it could do eaven more things if it gets more energy from their fear.,battery or negative toughts it gets in your head if you are weak :) u need protection on places like that. a good one.
i understand where u are coming from but heyy we need to understand that what is fun and entertaining for us from the screen but it can get really dark and dangerous for them after filming what we dont imagine at all

Top work Beyond the Dark Crew. Love the honesty. I used to do a lot of investigation around Australia, myself and a camera then kids happened. Though is awesome to see all the gadgets used these days, also confirmation of your experiences do have parallel to my own. But the gadgets confirm so much more compared to the experience. Also loved that you helped Steven bring himself back with gems and self balance. Good to see good practice with R.E.S.E.P.T, it's what it means to me!!

Legit the paranormal hang over is real AF! After I do investigations I can feel hungover for a couple of days and can get disturbed sleep or vivid dreams. It’s hard for people to understand and they often think it’s just lack of sleep but it’s so much more than that. I don’t know how you guys did so many in such a short time, no wonder you’re exhausted!!!! Next time definitely make sure you have 2-3days minimum break between each investigation.

I loved watching Josh’s abandoned videos back in the day, I also love paranormal investigations. I still remember when he did his first ghost video and he was super skeptical and now we’re here & this has been one of my favorite series on TH-cam. I’m so glad he started doing these videos, and unlike other TH-camrs that do these, I actually trust Josh because I was watching him years before he started doing anything paranormal. Love it.
