I have the exact same model. You'd be amazed at how much better it sounds when you swap those cheap stock strings for better quality ones. I had real issues trying to keep it in tune with the stock strings. I think they're 8's. I went with Ernie Ball 9's and the difference is phenomenal.

@@georgepfeiffer8383 You can have a new nut made to do Low High pairs. Put Pyramid flats on it and you'll have the sound close as it can be to the real thing.

i have a 1992 Ric 12v64 and a Chinese copy 12v64 and after spending around 400 dollars in mods i must say the Chinese copy is on par with my 92 Ric
