Just bought this very watch today! While I was waiting for a salesman to show me an Omega (also lovely) I was browsing and saw the LHD. Tried it on and boy, just perfect for me. Decided to leave and think about it, almost made it to the door when I turned around and went back to buy it! Good to hear you've enjoyed yours, hoping for many good years with mine.
The LHD is one of the only tudors I would spend money on. A gorgeous watch with tons of character and Tudor DNA. And the fact that it’s LHD only helps it own Tudor’s inherent quirkiness. It’s a classic.
The Pelagos line are the only actually good watches from Tudor, yet also still underrated, although at least it's gotten a bit more love in the last few years. Arguably one of the best watches in the entire Rolex-Tudor catalogue too.
I thoroughly enjoy your watch videos. Your common sense assessment of a watch’s performance, quality, and value really resonates with me. Far too many watch channels focus on the most popular watches and watch brands for algorithm purposes and I understand that to a certain extent, but it gets tedious watching and listening to stale content continually. It’s always refreshing to see you review great watches that may be overlooked by others. I have often thought that the Pelagos line from Tudor is one of if not their best. The original models with the ETA movements and the LHD models are my preferences. The FXD’s are tremendous watches as well. Excellent work as always!🥃
I can't disagree much with your assessment. I've had my LHD for around 4 years and it's always there to pick up if I can't be bothered to choose something else. When I wear it now it feels so comfortable on the wrist like those comfortable old shoes do on the feet. Thanks for sharing.
I agree! I have the blue dial version, and it's the kind of watch that once you get it on wrist; you'll be a little loathe to take it off! I literally don't get tired of it, I mostly just want to try something else. It also relieves you from buying other "lesser" watches. It really takes something unique or special these days for me to break out the credit card to buy another dive watch! 😂
I wear my watches on my right wrist so love LHD watches. I have 4 Tudors and this is my next to add to the collection. I love how much you love watches. 😊
Great video! I had the LHD for a couple of months this spring but sadly my OCD did not let me get over the lefty crown. So I sold it and I'm getting the regular 42 black
It was interesting to notice that the watch wasn't running in some of the wrist shots. I had to do double takes at first. ha ha. lovely watch that's for damn sure. If only I liked snowflake hands...
Even tho the case is made out of softer grade 2 titanium, but it's seems it's alot toughter than ordinary grade 2. I'm thinking that Tudor made the case out of forged titanium and heat treated. The Pelagos LHD is my favorite watch to wear out of my collection.
I own the regular black version, but my god I love it!! It’s a tank.. only ever worn on the bracelet tho which I think is one of the best out there bar none, I’d be interested in the strap you are using however, where is that from ?
I love the Pelagos LHD, but since my 124060 submariner entered my collection in 2020, any temptation to acquire another Diver has been erased. I give it heavy use on my vacations on the Spanish coasts and then it looks great at elegant dinners and in any situation . No matter how hard you try, it's the icon of its kind... Seriously, don't you miss it?
On the current title, "One of the few watches I can’t brake up with, Tudor Pelagos LHD long-term impressions." 'brake' is what a car or bike uses to slow down or come to a stop. 'break' is breaking something or breaking up, like in this context. A funny typo or spelling error stemming from the language barrier,, but one which should probably get fixed to match the professional tone of the video.
The novel at 6 bothers me - it's all info that nobody needs to see every single time they check the time. Even with the font being nice, there's simply no point.
I nearly bought a Pelagos one when it was first released, but i cant stand the snowflake hand. That aside, I'd go for a Seiko Marinemaster as a professional tool - in a world where i was a saturation diver. Note, the Pelagos isn't an ISO watch.
Why do you think that the big Swiss watch brands do not ISO 6425 certify their dive watches? Seiko and Citizen do. Are the big Swiss brands frightened of failing? We have no way of judging if their dive watches are really up to the job as they do not publish their in-house testing regime. That for me is a big black mark against Tudor.
Most likely cost / benefit. Let’s be realistic, are they really marketing to those who are using them as diving tools? That market is almost non existent, with small numbers and dive computers. I suspect they realize they are selling desk divers and just dont bother.
Is this a right hand designed watch becoz the crown is placed to be worn on right hand side . Also came across a group over random search online where people were just criticising or hating Tudor watchs and pitching it against Rolex and Seiko watchs . Tudor looks cool equivalent to Rolex and seikos as well
To me this is not only the best Pelagos … but is the best Tudor. Period
haha! Agreed!
LOVED the macro shots of the "worn" bracelet.. brilliant!
I love the Pelagos! Its such a good watch! Take care Andrei!
Cheers Johan! :)

Only good watches from Tudor is highly debatable. Objectively Tudor makes a bunch of great watches.

Hi. Also one of my favorite watches. Súper cool photo and video bro.
Thank you very much! :)

I fully agree, It kinda transforms into a reference diver, being hard to match it by other tools in that price range.
Cheers! :)

great review ive had my lhd over 3 years to me its the best in the range and one of the best divers around imo
Great video! I love your videos.
Thank you man! ❤️
Lots of lume, black dial and everything else white equals perfect legibility. Fantastic!
Great video!
I had the LHD for a couple of months this spring but sadly my OCD did not let me get over the lefty crown.
So I sold it and I'm getting the regular 42 black
love it since 2017...my first good watch!
Incoming and I am excited!
I bought this one too The quirky details (LHD, red text, roulette date wheel) and that it is a numbered edition at no extra price sold it to me.
Need to know where you got that watch strap ❤
that's a nice blue. I'm sure mark at LIW loves it
I love Tudor! My favourite is my black Bay Pro, for me having a date and GMT function is very important to me
I have to try one! :) Enjoy it, killer piece!
I love my blue date titanium with adjustable bracelet. It looks like the Rolex white gold. Lol.
That's true. it's the same color scheme as the Smurf.
Love the B-roll!
It was interesting to notice that the watch wasn't running in some of the wrist shots. I had to do double takes at first. ha ha.
lovely watch that's for damn sure. If only I liked snowflake hands...
I have the eta 2-liner the matte bezel is so beautiful.
(Its a bit thick imo on a single pass NATO)

Hi, it's a strap from Diaboliqstraps - I added the instagram link in the description

I am glad you enjoy it! I'd buy a 5 digit one :) you are right, there is no need for another sub when you have the one :)
@@BraveBeaters A 5-digit Sub is also a good antidote to any temptation. 😃
How does it compare to Certina DS Action Diver 43mm titanium? 🙂
What is that watch strap at 2 minutes please?
Hi, it's a strap made by Diaboliqstraps, you can find the insta link in the description.
@@BraveBeaters thanks Andrej!
Nice everyday piece.
What’s the strap at 1:09?
Favorite in collection
Has anyone had quality issues with them? Ive heard about lume pips misaligned etc
woah... is the sapphire scratched?
It's a mess, yes :)
It’s my Pelagos of choice.

I have the same issue, with having to consciously avoid wearing this watch, and choose other watches to wear in rotation.
The novel at 6 bothers me - it's all info that nobody needs to see every single time they check the time. Even with the font being nice, there's simply no point.
hahah! Novel! good one! :)
Got the lhd since 1 year ; the 5 lines is what i love the most❤
I never even notice it wearing it
Mine is so beat up that I'm even more unwilling to let it go.
8:23 🤗🤘👍
Miss that clasp … 🥹
LHD looks amazing but becomes soo awkward and annoying when setting the time in reverse
Stands alone as a serious tool diver Rolex is a different vibe.
lol, yes buying a used watch makes it soooo much easier to enjoy, knowing you are not the first to scratch it lol.

I wear the FXD more, lighter & no date
Very nice, Enjoy it! :)
Give me a "break."
Thanks.
Did you mean ro say Break and not Brake ?. Brake is when a moving object is stopped.
Been working on my car brakes during the weekend :))
Thanks

sadly it looks like any other watch

Pelagos is very boring in my opinion...
Judging by your previous comments on other videos, you seem to think quite a bit is boring. Name a few models you prefer over this
@@Rch_P i have the BB58 in blue...and i want the buy the monochrome version in the near future...
Wow, now I too think it's boring and all it took was a well crafted TH-cam comment.
I'm sorry, but I think Tudor as a brand is a rip-off, if it weren't Rolex's dumb brother it wouldn't sell even a quarter of the units.
