Here on Andrew Morgan Watches I want to bring you all the best on watches from my personal perspective. There's watch reviews, expert reactions, top 10 lists, the best and worst of the industry and a whole bunch of memes, too. So if you like Swiss watches, German watches, Japanese watches-whatever-you'll be sure to enjoy AMW!
"You never actually own a Cubitus. You merely hide it in a drawer until you're allocated a Nautilus." Effing brilliant, Andrew. Patek definitely should avail itself of your consulting services.
I have added a "run with it" addition to your amusing comment. Keep it up!
Facts
Andrew consulting the PeePee? Hmmmm... Moser would NOT be amused I think 😇
If you're too rich to be seen with a Maen, Patek Philippe made a nice homage.
100% 😂
So true and so funny. Has this ever happened before where a luxury company copies an entry level brand?!
@@OH-em6yo after the 1981 Kipton rail accident Americans started making better pocket watches and the Swiss wore actually copying them and making fakes. Watches are fashion accessories, is popular culture, no one owns a look.
I always leave an Andrew Morgan video with an itch to buy a new watch. Even if I just bought one the day before.
I have issues.
100%
'Summers day with the curtains shut and a no-hit run of the Blood Starved Beast'. Love it.
The continuous Patek take down at every unexpected turn is epic. I don’t see a PP AMW collab in the future even though that would bring the cool back to PP. If
If Bulova were to make a 38-39mm Lunar Pilot that would be bloomin brilliant (like a speedtimer rival)
Agree - 44mm is too big.
Butthole Surfer reference was on point!
Independent Worm Saloon, great album.
I love my Bulova lunaar Pilot i just wish they made it a little smaller than a family sized pizza
There is a smaller version now with 43,5 mm in diameter.
@@maikfohnan1415 I bought the 43.5 with the meteorite dial......I really like it.
I own the "mini" and even that is a chunky little monkey!
@@maikfohnan1415 which is still insanely large, only a 1.5 mm reduction in size
@maikfohnan1415😂😂😂
Too many great one liners in this one, well done sir
I'll never wear a quartz watch. It's not because I'm some kind of watch snob. It's just that the only reason I wear watches is because they are a mechanical, analog breath of fresh air in an electronic, digital world.
Writing on this episode was so sharp. Well done (as always), Andrew!
You never really own a Cubitus. You gradually accrue a number of watches in your lifetime, and near the end you put a codicil in your will, giving the Cubitus to your least attractive child. You know, the one with the massive head, that almost broke the misses in half during the birth?
My respects to your B-roll guy, Morgan. Top notch stuff there!
lol the inner city father made me choke on my coffee 🤣
This was your funniest narration yet! We'll done! 😅
MAMACOO's always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of watch 99% of people will never see.
Love your Fromsoftware references! Just know that some of us are catching those when you drop them in! No hit run of blood starve beast is quite impressive!
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.
"Both are good for about 3 days, before kicking the main spring barrel."
Legendary
Got to admit, at first, I didn't like your reviews. Then the sarcasm came through. Love it. Keep it up
That all black seastar is pretty tempting actually. . .
I’d probably recommend the Seiko speedtimer for anyone wanting a cheap chrono instead of any high end chrono, zenith, speedy, Daytona etc etc.
Looks great, but why make it 13.3 thick and over 160g. It's not mechanical.
18 way searts over 14 way. Obvious dig at Porsche. Love it.
Doris has enjoyed your history lesson , we came in from a brisk walk on a big sand , low tide . so we were pleasantly tired as we sat down to watch and listen to your presentation . relaxingly conservative , it followed the pace of our day . atissot !!!!! bless you !!! i digress !!! baggsies !!!! l gooru 🎉
I’m digging the subtle little mermaid reference! 😂
Great video Andrew. I love the teenager analogy.
One of his best...😂
The Lunar Pilot is my beater. Great watch, most wear time this year.
If you thought that Bloodborne reference would slide by …
😂 I caught this one too
Ain’t no party like a Journe party.
Time and time again
I learn something new
Unbeatable
At what you do
Yoooo! That Cubitus shot was a low blow, and it worked beautifully. Hilarious
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO
The inner city father bit was a little much Andrew for those of us that grew up in the inner city and had a legendary dad ❤
I envy you
@ want to go fishing?
It's ok
Great video, I have a Studio Underdog Watermelon gen 3 on order which I should receive in March 2025. At £550, good value! 👍
Bloodborne Andrew!! Yeah boy ❤️
The choosable audiotrack is very funny!
That little Baltic is lovely TBF
Andrew, your one liners are just epic. I can't stop laughing
Great video!
Can confirm, my hiking socks are indeed 'handed'.
I believe no man can say no to MAMACOO's watches
“Like a Journe but without the blood orgies” is top tier observation.
Should have been a FAC TACP and not a pilot Andrew.
The puns come so fast and furiously you have to watch more than once to catch them all.
The last one comes right after the one before 😂
Bloodborne reference for the win!
"I haven't seen a tank this cheap since the invasion of the Ukraine ' 😮😂
3:01 - is this a reference to a pink floyd song. the cheeky hint of a smile suggests it is!
I own the Bulova Lunar Pilot in that color way and it is a beautiful watch in its own right. The dial is textured and had multiple levels of depth. Accuracy is amazing.
I bought a watch once that is a "cheaper" version of a grail and it just reminds me that it's not the grail every time I wear it...
sounds like you have an awesome outlook on life
📽️
Same here and it makes me wonder the type of person who would get hyped over that.
@@IVAtheLT exactly. Cheaper versions or homages are not the solution
As a Spaniard, the Tudor Rose is far more problematic due to the absolutely degrading treatment that the despicable Henry VIII gave to his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. The Order of Calatrava, on the other hand, still exists, and its Grand Master is His Majesty King Felipe VI. That cross represents the triumph of Christianity in the Iberian Crusades. If any wealthy Moor is bothered by the cross, I will gladly accept their Patek Calatrava-it doesn’t bother me at all.
"The card says Moops."
Always appreciate a Bloodborne reference
nice!
I think I need the affordable alternatives to the affordable alternatives. I still enjoyed the video. 👍
Raymond Weil pronounced as "While" not "Weel" , just an fyi.
Great video 👍.
Having just embarked on this journey I curious why Raymond Weil is never mentioned. (Ball also)
"...hoovering up the crumbs; two wallets, one watch". I see what you did there. Where are those girls today one wonders....?
The last one comes just after the penultimate.
how great if Bulova is willing to recreate their original chronograph Moon watch instead of just using a modern quartz movement to recreate it . i can't remember but seemingly it looks different from the original too! not just merely using a quartz movement ! who is gonna to buy such watch ??? unless cost /price is the only factor of consideration

Thanks for the breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Don't worry Andrew, I recognised the Little Mermaid reference.
Get a Tsar Bomba instead of a Richard Mille. I've had my entry level TB for 6 months and have had multiple people in shops etc confusing it for an RM. Its just a beater but I love it
Is it ugly, vulgar, obnoxious as Richard Mille?
@@valgehiir Yup but 1000 times cheaper
Yes
The first fully waterproof watch with a screw down back bezel fitted with gaskets and a screw down crown with a gasket seal, was commissioned by and designed for the Royal Navy for use on Submarines in 1915 .
it was made by the Swiss watch company Tavannes ,and was sold through Brook & Son Jewellers of Edinburgh , it was a black faced watch with a seconds dial at the '6' position and was called the 'Submarine".
So every dive watch owes its DNA to the Tavannes 'Submarine ' ...
not Rolex , who released the Rolex ' Submarine' in 1924
The “haven’t seen such a cheap tank since the invasion” comment is out of pocket 😂😂
Audi’s are not Volkswagens…for one simple reason - the engine placement dictates a completely different overall automobile design…are there common parts? Yes…but then there are common parts with Bentleys’ as well…and Lamborghini shares parts with Audi….but they aren’t ’the same car.’
Volkswagen Group, the Swatch Group of motor cars.
Alternative to the the Speedmaster is a speedmaster, just get a reduced version.
The 1918 Waltham Depollier Field & Marine was the first waterproof watch, not the 1926 Rolex Oyster.
Wow This video After Teddy's one Incredible ❤
Waiting for my titanium 47mm Amoled saphire Fenix 8 to arrive. The watch has 200 functions! Including a fully functional dive computer. It's absolutely amazing! Only $980. The JLC and Rolex will be on R&R. Not going to be wearing them much anymore.
You didn't show the micro rotor movement in the Baltic
The Nautilus literally looks like the 🙊 emoji
(Drumroll…) I think you can’t make a copy of the Speedmaster without looking cheap….😮…I’ll get me coat…😅
"Beasts all over the shop..."
A Bloodborne reference? I was not familiar with your game, Andrew.
I love my 45mm Bulova Lunar Pilot. Sue me.
Why do none of you ever talk about the Longines Hydroconquest?
“Absent as an inner city father…”? Really Andrew?
brilliant.
Yes. It's funny.
Yikes…not funny at all.
@@yaboy40511
Both funny and horrifying... It hits hard because there's a truth there.
It's objectively true
ostaias ¡¡ el doblaje al español ye cruel ¡¡¡¡ mi madre ¡¡
AMW always talks about the last one while the penultimate gets, on this channel, less love than James Corden.
Lo mismo que es “Odmarpig”?
Andrew you spend too much time on the Porsche configurator
From the man with the best voice on the internet with the worst logo on the internet.
You buy these hard to get watches at retail because its instant cash, and you get to show off that you got to aquire one. Its just a flex. A homage piece just shows off you couldn't get it or afford it.
How can we return to original language ?
Timestamps!
I hate fake hexagonal screws. Terrible choice.
Bulova went to the moon in 1971. Matlock first aired in 1986. So there is no way the moon mission guys were busy watching it. Your factually incorrect statement has now led me to question everything you say. My reality is now destroyed, thanks a lot.
And yet we will always have people who believe Rolex started everything.😂
Its not a budge/affordable watch if its above $200
Mmmm que es “Tuda” ?
Vorsprung durch tick tock :)
Maybe I'm crazy but anyone using an analog chronometer in 2024 probably has abandonment issues
10:12 oof
@12:08 is it a fake? look at the screws!
…and the AP text on the face is off. Just a crap image from the web for B-roll.
Am I the first one?
Yes you are
No. Andrew has done this before. Frontwards, backwards, and wheelbarrow! Nothing surprises him.
Like the state of Texas. Lol.
Andrew you know something? I got tired of watches. Really had enough with iconic watches, Rolex, omega and everything.
Perhaps the whole watch community needs to repeat again for the newer audience the usual topics etc. But I got bored as I follow the industry since 2006 and the last 10 years nothing really new came out. Nothing.
Wish you luck and I will stick around only for your narrative.
Andrew please search about Santos Dumont. He challenges the Wright Brothers claims with his 14 Bis airplane. France and Brazil recognises Santos as having invented the airplane and proved it flew earlier than the Wright Brothers. In France where he would do his flights, he met and became friends with Cartier. Cartier developed the first wrist watch for Santos as it made flying the airplanes, balloons and zeppelins easier.
Chill out mate
@ People talk about Santos without knowing which Santos it is. It is Santos Dumont.
Stern the Younger is very much the Elon Musk of the watch world : invents very little, repackages and sells other people genius…
You showed the Omega Snoopy in the thumbnail of the video, and then it's not in the video, that's disappointing...
