    This is a proper review, interesting and informative - unlike many. Being a little under average height I shall be test riding the non R version. Thanks for the info.

      David, I'm 5' 8 and I can touch the floor. Bought the R model. So visit your closest dealer and check 1st.

      +sql-lover I had a test ride, loved it and got a good deal on a new Street Triple 675 (phantom black) which I picked up last Saturday. Am delighted with it. Dave

    Nice review Edward, and the slip on sounds good :)
    You should head to your local Triumph dealership and cop a feel of the Triumph OEM Gel seat. Not sure about the Street Triple version, but the one on my Speed Triple has a nice deep step in it, makes for a very effective bumstop, so you can't slide too far back, and it's really comfy so far. You already have the flyscreen and bar-end mirrors so the only other really cool accessory from the parts catalog is the Triumph LED Indicators (turn signals), small and trick looking, they match the overall look of the bike. Alloy brake reservoirs are also quite nice looking. Ride safe bro :)

    Looking sweet. Which brand framesliders are those and where did you bought them. Like the Triumph ones, but I think they do spoil the nice lines and they're not replaceble as parts seperately. But those sliders look nice.

      @DaMaX74 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't catch the brand and were they easily to install?

    • @eju3
      @eju3  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Puig frame sliders. Ordered from RevZilla. Easy install, especially as I have limited 'hands on' experience. All I needed was a torque wrench and a matching hex/star.

      Just installed the SW Motech framesliders. I'm contnt and looks sweet too.

    Hello there, those bar risers look neat! Did you get the 20mm ones? Stock throttle and clutch cables still work fine? Do they improve the comfort significantly? I'm 5'5 and by the end of a 1 hour test ride my upper back was aching :/ Thank you and ride safe!

    • @eju3
      @eju3  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +scrapethebottom Yes, 20mm. There's was still plenty of play for cables, nothing felt like it was being stretched to its max. I wouldn't say it was significant (like night vs day), but I certainly felt the difference after a one hour ride or so. I would say the "aching, got to get off and stretch" feeling got pushed back into the 1.5 to 2 hour mark when riding. Hope that helps.

    hey i just got this bike and will receive it most likely next week. what is first must-do mods for this bike ? my one comes with arrow exhaust

      @Damogron 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TurkishRider all up to you! The STR is my second bike, I rode it as-is the first season. Then did all the mods I covered. The bike felt awesome out of the box, if it's lacking anything it's going to be a rider preference.

    Hi mate, I've seen a Buell right next your triple. I actually own a Buell and I'm planning to sell it and buy a Street Triple.
    Am I doing the right thing?

  • @DaMaX74

    Are you considering a tailtidy?

    • @eju3
      @eju3  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +DaMaX74 yes, I think it feels like a cleaner look. There's a few options out there, not sure which I want to go yet.

    • @DaMaX74
      @DaMaX74 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Edward Juarez I have the Rizoma. Bit pricey, but very lightweight and slick. A lot of Striplers have the Evotech tailtidy. Clean design where you can tug away the cables.
