thx for the video mate. i just installed a freshly bought quickshifter to my 675R 2014 yesterday. helpful advices, i think if i wouldnt have known where to look for the 2pin-connector i would have been searching for ages. just like u said. glad you shared, qs is working perfectly fine!
Great tuto ! I've just installed the Cordona quick shifter on a street triple R 2015. Only difference is that you need to get to the +12V for the quickshifter to work. You can get a +12V (after key is on) under the seat, close to the tank, there is a black box with 3 cables plugged on it, check for the 12v. Hope it helps some of you
Just ordered one for my 13 Street Triple! It should be here Wednesday and I have a surgery on my wrist which will put me out of riding for 6 weeks on Friday...
Big help this was! Only thing that hung me up was that vent tube on the bottom of the tank. When I lifted it it stretched it tight and couldn't lift the tank any more. Wasn't exactly sure what it was so I didn't want to disconnect it and have fuel all over the place. Had another look at the vid and saw that you had disconnected it, after that it was a breeze. The QS you installed is the intellishift, does it have the auto blip? I put on a genuine triumph qs but it doesn't say intellishift, just wondering what that means exactly?
just to understand this right, all the quickshifter does is cutting the power for the moment of the gear change without doing anything to the clutch? so it's essentially just like cutting the gas right before the shift for a split second? I mean probably more accurate and consistent than any rider could manually but still...
what kind of seat cover is that? just got my Triumph one and I hate it. :) Also just installed my quickshifter but I feel the shifts are a bit too harsh on mine. Maybe because I did not set the right length of the rod? I adjusted the rod to fit me.
+RoadRunner thanks! pls consider any rearset that can switched to gp shift. having a quickshifter with race pattern shift will definitely give you a different feeling, compared to standard shift pattern. i know sato and woodcraft make for ST.
i know this is an old video but i have an important question! I just got a brand new 2022 street triple rs, and the shift pedal is super low on mine. I have a very difficult time in making up shifts with my big feet/boots. Is there a way to adjust the shift pedal height? I have a quick shifter on mine, not sure if its a different procedure compared to other bikes for shift pedal adjustments. I hope you see this comment 🙏
Hey James, I’ll do the installation tomorrow on my 2015 str. I can’t get it why you shouldn’t be able to adjust the rod length, I’m pretty sure the length in the description is just the default length. I’ll need to adjust it too, like I’ve done it on the original rod. I’m going to write you how things went. Maybe it helps others too. Stay tuned…
@@MarcelBest thanks for the reply! would it be possible for you to make a video of you adjusting the gear lever? yours has a quick shifter too correct? I would be so greatful for a video on it! 🙏
@@jamesaranda1451 I’m installing it right now. Page 10 on the manual it states clearly that you can change the angle as desired. I won’t make a video, but check out Dave Moss’s Video on adjusting levers th-cam.com/video/u0rMMXdKz4U/w-d-xo.html, the things are very similar to all bikes.
@@MarcelBest yeah ive seen other videos on adjusting the lever. but there are no videos on youtube that show adjusting the lever height with a quickshifter installed. theres a cable on my rod with plastic sleeves that prevent it from rotating for adjustment.
@@jamesaranda1451 just rotate the end caps, not the rod. It was easy to do that to the length I had set up already. In any other case go to a motorcycle mechanic, if you are not sure.
Did you think they may have been loctited on, that's why they where more than 4nm. High revving triples and shitty roads will definitely loosen those bad boys up. Betcha ballz after a month that 203.5 will not be. Ask your mechanic.
Finding the plug in the depths was a life saver!

That’s an excellent instalment video. Just saved me around £69 labour & improved my bike knowledge 🤙
I love your final comment.....”it’s pretty cold tonight, I had to wear a Tshirt” lol....

Kumarin Poonan thanks for the feedback mate
Great video man, I’m gonna pick up a QS for my 2009 street triple next week, very helpful video. Cheers mate. Subscribed!
Nice one dude thanks for the video I'll be installing mine when it turns up.

Great video man! About to get my tools out and pop my QS on! Cheers!
Great video mate. I just had triumph install mine. They stuffed it up big time. Didn't do heaps of the stuff you did properly
Thats pretty poor they can't install something like that which for them should be damn simple ! Glad my vid could help ! Thanks for commenting mate !
Great video fella

Cheers for dropping a line mate ! Should be from 2013-16 at a guess, don't quote lel
Regardless should be pretty similar
Where is the conector in daytona 2016?
Hi mate. So that works just like that? U fit it in and it goes? it does not need any dealer activation or software update ?
Hi, Im from Brazil... I have a Daytona 675R 2013, can you help me? I need ajust the gear pedal but i don't have a Idea do It...
Hey, i'm looking for the blank contector but i cant find it on my Daytona 675 from 2007. can anyone help me where to find it????
Thx for the Video.
Do the ECU need to be flashed? or are the QS plug and play?

Thanks for the video. But the cable is not supposed to go around the rod like you did. This is only for other models.
Good install video
It is original triumph quickshifter? My street triple 2015 why not have original triumph quickshifter?
only up ? or down shifter too?
You made that look simple enough...where did you buy this quick shifter from?
That white socket, what socket is that?.
Hi mate followed this but mine doesn't seem to work
same install on a 16 daytona?
ever think of replacing your stock rearset to Sato for gp shift?
tbh it's something I haven't really looked at yet bro
+RoadRunner just subscribed to you mate as well 👌

Where can I get the quick shifter please
Does it work flawlessly?
Where i can get this qs ?
Thanx for explain
Thinking of installin QS on my 06 daytona 675. Does anyone know if it can be even done?
Not as easy as the 2009+ daytonas. 06-08 does not come with a connector under tank, so you might need a different ecu and some other electrical gizmos
wicked how to. cant wsit to get this done
let me know how you go !
I've got a 2018 765r. Can't seem to locate the connector... any idea anyone?
Did you ever find it? I've got a 2018 as well and am looking to do this to mine.
Can this be installed on a Daytona 675 08-09' Model? Someone?
08 no, 09+, yes
Feel like Jersey is no longer with us 💔🥺
