Well opened mine up and of course it looks nothing like the video. Mines much fatter and difficult to get out, if it even comes out. Someone must’ve done something to it at some point.
It does that because there isn't enough resistance to keep them at a slower pace, not because it's a safety measure. There's a bonus in that design knowing when you have a signal out, but its simply because it lost resistance.

That or he was just trying to get me to buy their in house resistors for way more than the relay.
Even my 1985 Parisienne had electronic flasher module that detected burn out turn signal bulbs. BTW, most turn signal bulbs are not halogen, it's the headlights, foglights that are halogen to better light the road in front of you.
Hey man, not that it matters a whole lot, but just figured I'd let you know that the hyperflash is actually caused because of the fact that the led provides much MORE resistance than a halogen bulb, allowing much less current to flow through it, which is why they use so much less power. The truck knows how much power a halogen bulb is supposed to draw, and when it fails to draw that much power then it hyperflashes because there's "not enough" current flowing through the circuit (since LEDs are so efficient). Even though it sounds like adding a resistor will provide more resistance, wiring one in parallel actually does the opposite. Adding a resistor in parallel pretty much just creates a controlled short circuit that allows more electricity to flow through, not less. Basically just takes away the efficiency of the LEDs and makes them use as much power as a halogen so the truck doesn't get confused. Again, not that it matters haha but just figured it doesn't hurt to know. Love the truck!

That’s a very dim signal light, in the front, no?
Oh yea, my headlights were tinted in this video, much brighter now
My led disabled my cruse control
Does this work for 04 avalanche?
Yes
@@Faix.Garage alright thanks man, because i saw some online and there looks like theres 2 different relays that come up, the one you show here and a longer one
Will this work for my single cab 03 chevy 1500 ?
Santania yes
Tyler Faix is your truck model year an 02 because i called my local autoparts store and that specific model doesn’t fit my 03 model
Santania each year has a different middle just tell them your year and they should have the same product for your truck
Its pretty obvious since LED its actually a diode
hey its kolton nice sounding truck
What up bro! Hopefully it sounds even better by the time our Trinity trip comes around again
Thank you for this!!!
Glad it helped!
what kind of enguine you have ?
julian cortes 4.8L V8. The actual name of it is LR4
Thanks man! Going in tomorrow lmao
did it work?
@@Itsaustinnnyo yes it did!
Hey Tyler, just changed my Turn signals to LED’s on my 2001 Sierra. Thinking of going the flasher relay route to stop my hyper flash. Just wondering if you’ve had any issues to date with the EP29 relay on your truck? Thanks
Hey man! No issues what so ever
Add a led flasher solve ur problem
What exhaust do you have
dustin rozas in this video, true duel 2.5” pipes cat back straight pipes with 4” tips. Got a new set up now tho, video coming soon
Man it sounds good and that’s a clean ass truck you got 💪🏼
dustin rozas thank you!
I like the hyper flash. I feel like it gets more attention from other idiot drivers. The drawback is you don’t know when a bulb goes out though.......
I thought that too about the getting dumb people’s attention😂 but it bothered me too much to leave
Autozone or oreilys ? How much was it ?
Brandon Ruiz auto zone and I think around $10
Tyler Faix maybe they don’t have it for my truck I have an 05 Silverado I asked them and they said they not sure but they tried selling me one for 75$ I asked for a relay to stop the hyperflashing after installing LED signal lights maybe I said something wrong
@@Yorrub some are controlled by the BCM computer onboard, I know my 07 has hyperflash, you need resistors or a BCM reprogram(good luck getting your dealer to do that)
Not a Silverado, I had a Napa guy tell me that I absolutely needed to put resistors for my LEDs when I did my front end conversion on my Nova, I just bought an Electronic two spoon flasher relay, plugged it in and havent had any problems
Cool
Newer Jeep Wranglers don't have this option.
