Thanks a lot Kurt for another great video. Kurt my 1974 911 has the collapsible oil return tubes already installed but I think the seals may be leaking. Are the collapsible oil tubes easy to remove without destroying them and can they still be reused again if we don’t damage them taking them out ?
Marion, Yes and no, If the pipes will still slide easily then yes you can take them out easily and replace the Orings. However what usually happens is the internal Orings will stick and you end up destroying the pipe trying to move it. Kurt

Do you have a video on how to install the 993 vacum tubes? I have not had any luck and most guys have never removed theirs. I am doing a complete new engine and transmission rebuild and am now have the engine in but not the intake as I don't have anything to show me how to install the many vacum tubes.
Hi loving your video wis you lived here Ireland 😢…. I have a 3.2 Porsche and it seem to have an oil leak at the front of the engine on the left hand side between the front cylinder and second any thoughts??
Not a lot to leak between cylinder 1 and 2. If it looks like it is coming from the base gasket or the heads then most likely broken head studs. If it is more up by the cam box then it might a loose rocker shaft. Its something I would really need to see to give you a better idea. Kurt

All the “Specialist” here in Ireland have a god complex😜 …. and just can’t deal with them … I’m a train Harley tech but don’t act like that The only other thing I can tell you is it leaks the oil while sitting… could it be a simple as a oil return tube?
It could be. The way I would approach it would be to wash the underside of the motor down, Take the car for a quick drive and then lift it up and see where I have oil leaking from. If you like send me a short video of the underside of the engine and I will see what I can see. Kurt
@@klassikats Kurt it’s looking like a base gasket leek passenger side ….. head re torque????? Or just a squeeze up on the head bolt s it no as bad as I thought which do you recommend
