1977 Porsche 911 Targa CIS fuel injected This car is back in with us to get prepped for sale. The fuel pump was making noise intermittently, and the car was cutting out and generally not running well. The fuel pump had been replaced, and the fuel distributor had been rebuilt in the 2021 engine rebuild, so it was a mystery to be solved.

This set of heads needed new guides, new springs, and new valves but did not need new seats. The valve seats had room for a cut, and all went well. The sealing surface needed a clean up so the engine builder will need to add a .25 shim to make up this difference from machining. On to the next set, a 1976 Turbo set. We are very close to having 10,000 subs. Thank you for your support.

Just a short video of what happens when parts come in. Porsche 1978 911SC Cylinder Heads. To do any inspection these heads have to be cleaned first. Then they can be taken apart, looked at roughly, cleaned again, and blasted. All this before real measurements can be taken. These heads are in good shape to re-build. Follow along as they progress. This set of pistons and cylinders comes from an SC where the customer is building it himself but wants help with the measurements. We check them out and report. Pretty much worn out for this set!
