different car review okay so I have a 2013 bmw b7 alpina I know it has the n63 engine it’s not the best but I’m hopping that the corrected many of the engine issues from previous years.
2 years ownership review: car 2009 740Li. Things that broke down: 1. 2 sensors (oxigen sensor and fuel??) 2. Cas4 module 3. Bluetooth module 4. All oil gaskets 5. Water pump 6. 2 front bushings Car is around 80k miles/135k km. Easy and relatively cheap to fix (not dealerships) For a bmw it is very reliable(if bmw is your thing you'll be happy with it) and i recommend the car.
You are 3 months too late! I've been waiting for you to review this model. I purchased a 2012 back in February. I drive it daily and have had no problems with it so far. Keep up the good work.
It has been a joy. No problems with the exception of someone hit me a few weeks ago. Minor passenger side damage. It's in the body shop now, and I hope to have it back by Christmas. I can't wait to get my toy back.
So I bought a 2013 m sport model I made the mistake of putting 89. Octane don’t ever ever put anything less than 93 I had a strong vibration then it got worse headed straight to the dealer and it cost me 644 dollars after employee discount to fix problems I have the 4.4 v8
the 740i with the n54 is a good buy. they are cheap right now and you can maintain fix and even replace the n54 engines for under $1500 now. ive put 200k miles on my f01 and its just now having electronic power steering issues and i just recently had to replace every control arm on the front suspension and the rear air ride. i replaced the engine for $1400 with a brand new freshly built n54 and the car gets driven daily . it was only about 3k dollars to make the repairs and its brand new again. it drives SO good. i want to get a new 7 series but theres no point when this one is still THIS good of a car.
Second owner of a 2011 BMW 760LI with M sport package, watched this and many more videos before purchase. Only replacement was tires front and back with reg tires not run flats, immediate results of better handling, smoother quieter ride. Only maintenance is oil change, with a trans fluid and filter change in the future. Very enjoyable car, the v12 is extremely smooth with torque from 1500 rpm onward. I steered away from the 750i and li because of his recommendations, and tested a 2016 5 series but found its back seat too small and overall ride comfort was not like the 7. For such a big car it doesn't feel like your hampered by its length and seems to me to handle more like a sport sedan then land yacht.Oh and be prepared for total strangers to tell you how much they like your car. Hope you love your purchase..
@@rubenabrego6751 Thanks for the question. All I can say is I love my car, and do recommend the 760li. I don't recommend the 750, because of mechanical issues and recalls, and a class action lawsuit. I never heard too many bad things about the 740, so that could be a option. All I can say is change the fluids, all of them way before the BMW maintenance guide.so, do proper regular maintenance and things should be good. Follow this mans guide for choosing and go to BMW chat rooms for more info. Happy shopping
BMW 730LD, had 56000mls on clock, transmission judder on acceleration once the gearbox was hot. Turned out e-clutch problem and valve body seals, £3400 later..... works like a dream... Took an autoguard warranty they paid over £2000 towards the cost, so was unlucky but lucky if that makes sense.
Very good video, I have the 2013 740i, with currently 98,000 miles. No problems " yet". I drive it daily. I get the oil changed at every 4,000 miles, just to keep the engine running smoothly. I recommend this vehicle.
Had E38, then Audi A8 but now have the F01, 730d M Sport, great cars!! Check out for gearbox oil leaks as plastic lower tray warps with heat and can kill gearbox, Watch out for 20 inch alloys cracking, examine for previous damage/ repairs. Cost £705 for each wheel!! Lovely machines otherwise!!
Love my 2011 740Li, comfortable, solid, and with few problems.Only compliant has been with the fuel injectors. Which BMW has extended the warranty till 120,000 miles, no extra charge and no deductible.
@@satanasatana7931 I didn’t say I cannot afford it, I can even buy a new 2020 7 series right now but as a start I wanted the 2011 one... the design and beauty overall was just tops. I decided to wait for the i4 which is coming in 2022, I still don’t have a car. LoL
Great video. I currently own a 2013 F02 N55 LCI MSport and it’s amazing. Heard too many stories about the N63 so that steered me away from it. No engine problems just oil changes every 3000-5000 miles. I also top off the coolant and oil every month or so. As far as electronics, there’s some minor problems (sunshades, vanity lights) but nothing that affects my driving ability. I also love the fact that my car has air suspension in the rear as standard.
@@maxwellmccloy9450 114,XXX. Dealing with some minor electrical problems but then again it’s a German limousine so that’s to be expected. Most of them are covered under warranty for me so it’s nothing to be worried about
I own a 2012 one (bought used 3 years ago). The transmision did start leaking. Fix: oil change. New gasket came bundled with the oil btw (so they know..) I put 120k km on it (from 90k to 210k) and no other issues came up. Newer premium cars certainly aren't reliable, I guess I got lucky. Planning on getting a 2016 (the new model, one with around 100k km) soon, since the market value... went well :) Some idiots call a 100k Euro car "money pit". Are you sure? I would never have thought...
Just bought a 2009 750Li with 60,000 miles. The exact one you said to avoid but meh I love it and it had £25,000 of optional extras when new. I don't think there's a single thing missed off the spec sheet. Gonna take it to BMW for a health check soon for peace of mind I think though.
A few days in and there's a drivetrain malfunction. 😂 Still not getting shot of it though, should be covered under dealer warranty and it's too nice to just forget about it.
Got my 15 750i x drive m sport week ago, dark blue with peanut butter interior, every option, I have a dinan stage one tune, res delete, omg how it pulls, Love the tech and how quite she is when cruising.
We’ve had 3 7 series. (2 E65s, 1 F01) 1st - 2004 745i... long story short if your looking for a 7 series DO NOT buy one of those. When it was new it broke down leaving us stranded in 2006 twice hence why those cars are worth dog shit.. and even at those dirt cheap prices nobody wants those clunkers.. these model 7 series need one thing.. the junk yard. Was horribly un reliable at its time, and is even worse now. Any repair will total it. 2) 2008 750i... was ok, had its little problems here and there electrical wise.. had it for 9 months 3) 2011 BMW 750i (swb), blk on blk, DVD package, M sport package. We bought this car at 55k kms in 2013 ish, and kept it for 4 years. Sold it at 101k kms. The F01 was my favourite.. it got looks everywhere.. very sassy looking car. BUT it did have its issues luckily it was a CPO bmw car so it had warranty. 1st issue, the car wouldn’t go into sport mode. I’d always wanted to test out the sport plus on this car but it wouldn’t let me go into it and would instead say something along the line of drivetrain risk or something along the lines of that. I took it into the BMW dealership and they told me the timing chain needed to go and it was a recall by what I remember the BMW service guy told me 2nd issue, oil consumption.. this is apart of the first problem and was due to the valve stems. All the engine issues ended when the car went in to the bmw dealership for 2 weeks and received the ccp voluntary recall offered by bmw for all n63 engines due to how horrible they were with reliability and oil consumption. After the ccp service I never had another problem with the engine which is why I should’ve kept it. 3rd issue, the rear left spring got damaged and almost came off, covered under warranty. 4th issue, rear glass blind motor failed Oil changes were 299 CAD if I remember correctly. My advice with the F01. Buy the 2013+ with the n63tu. The n63tu is a WAY better engine and 7-series models equipped with the n63tu are holding value extremely significant to the 2012s and below. But with 2009-2012s becoming dirt cheap I can see why they are attractive. In my experience.. cross out the 2009-2010 cars FOR SURE. Even with the 2011-2012’s make sure the valve stem seals are done.. it’s worth the wait. The pre facelift 2012 and below are a huge risk overall. There’s a reason most of the ones for sale are pre facelift cars. That job was $15000 if I didn’t have warranty from bmw. I’m currently looking to buy another one.. Hope this helps anyone looking for these.
Hey man, thanks for the advice. I just made a post about me buying a 2009-2012 750li. So you don't recommend these at all? What about the 2011-2012 versions? Maybe you can answer my questions in the post too. Thanks!
@@fckdisshiat Sorry for the late reply. I do not recommend buying anything under 2012. In the 2013 facelift year, the V8 50i models got a refresh known as the N63TU. They are much better by what I have heard. It is pretty much an entirely different engine overall. All the problematic areas with the N63 in the 2009-2012 cars were addressed.
You're the proverbial needle in a haystack. Few cars have as many failures as these and if you think the problems most people are experiencing is because they're simply not maintaining them you're batshit crazy.
The 8 cylinder versions also have oil consumption issues and faulty oil measurings systems that require you put in 2 quarts of synthetic oil instead of one. Also be aware of transfer case issues if buying an all wheel drive version. And lastly, wheels on these cars bend easily when fitted with low profile run flat tires and driven on poorly maintainedroads, expect to shell out for wheels and tire replacements....
Superb Video keep up! I had one 730ld 2011 it was ok have now the 2015 730ld it is really good and reliable, economic, the 8 sped gearbox it's sems to be much better. I have to say the 7 series have to be serviced properly. It is the big eco raked!
hi i own 750 li 2011-2012 m package w 4,4 l engine for like 2,5 years ( very powerful very happy w the power ) i change the oil very often 8 000 km and i have no problems whit it so far ,the only think is bother me is a little noise in left rear side coming from the shock i guess , the gas gadget led is off, burns little oil and 13l average gas per 100 km i hope no other problems comes up
Which engine is better from this model? I mean which of them is not very capricious, little problems! I have e38 740i single vanos! This car has never let me down in 10 years! Always sure on the road! I like the f01 exterior and interior! But I heard to many negative problems about it!
I actually have the 2014 F02 750Li Xdrive in Imperial blue and saddle interior. Car runs great and of course is a real looker. Lots of bells and whistles. It only has 32K miles now. I love riding like a bawse and commanding the highway cause man that car can go. I got the extended warranty because there’s so much to this car than something’s bound to go wrong...But I guess you could say that about any model of vehicle.
i have 2011 imperial blue 740li. dynamic steering all the bells and whistles and i absolutely love it. ive put over 150k miles on it in 3 years i drive it from san fransisco to los angeles weekly. on its second engine now. i also built the n54's and have 335's so the n54 powered 7 series was a no brainer. super easy to maintain . ive literally had almost 0 trouble with this car but my electronic steering rack is finally going out. i updated the i drive to the aftermarket android and put the new steering wheel and it drastically updated the feel of the interior. ill probably drive this car until it falls apart with 0 regrets.
Shwagks J no man, stay away from the v8 in the 7 series. Get the 740 it has a N54 straight 6, and its almost as fast as the 750, and weighs 250 pounds less so it’s like a fraction of a second slower like .1 or .2. It’s been around long enough for BMW to smooth out the kinks in it. Plus you can slap bigger turbos on it and tune it and push 600+ hp.
New update on my extremely low mileage 2009 750Li. The dealership tech discovered my car needs valve guide seals because it burned almost two quarts of oil in about 2100 miles. Praise God, BMW is picking up the entire cost of the repair. The car had a coolant leak and an air leak in a turbo return line. They said they'll roll those repairs into the valve guide replacement since they have to take all that apart anyway. My faith in BMW is restored.
Hey can someone explain how bmw can cover repair cost for 2009 car? Wtf? So if i buy 2014 bmw im hella covered or what im missing lol, how much i know car guarantees is about 5years
@@dankhalifa6937 Mine was covered out of warranty. I bought a 2009 750Li. It was GUZZLING oil. My service advisor told me that my particular engine series had a service advisory to replace the valve stem seals. Whoever had the car before I had it didn't have that done. So, my dealer set it up, got the approval, and BMW paid for the entire $12,000 repair bill. It still burned oil afterwards, but not nearly as bad. Go to your service advisor and tell him or her that you want to know if your car qualifies for the Customer Care Plan.
Supreme H Makes you think why would anyone buy the series I want a BMW seven series but with all the issues he said I don’t want it no more which sucks
Johnson Boolin you mean on top of my Porsche Pan Turbo, E55 AmG , Lexus 460L, and Toyota Tundra? Yeah, with all those issues it’ll put me in the poor house huh u bitchass punk? We coolin, not boolin

you have a very high performance twin turbo engine, thats one problem. The timing chain issue can either be an oil issue or a manufacturing or design problem.
Excuse me brothers. Owners of bmw 740i (inline 6 cylinder) im hesitant to buy one as Im afraid of the issues and common issues with it? What do you think . What shall I do as if I wanna buy a used 2014 bmw 740i What to look for in adition to what our brorher mentioned in this video ?
I’m looking at purchasing a 2008 750li. Alt ought my mechanic will probably never speak to me again, but I’ve always wanted one and there’s on for sale with 130k miles had a significant passenger from fender bender and was fixed up. Owner says he had it serviced recently and says everything is good working and ready to go. $5000 for it which I think is pretty good. I’m wondering if anyone thinks that particular model year/engine is one to stay away from.
I wish people would stop judging people they don't know and keep your comments about the cars only. People are really looking for a educated opinion and are not here to stroke people's ego because they like or dislike a certain brand. Also how can you comment on something you've never owned!
Update on my extremely low mileage 2009 750Li. Dealer service department says several coolant leaks, and a turbo return line air leak that might be covered by BMW under the extended coverage plan. My sister has a 140,00 mile Hyundai Genesis sedan that has never broken down or had an issue, other than regular maintenance. My $96,000 luxury BMW keeps going down for one reason or another.
good choice actually, 40 000 mi is nothing, I have seen numerous 760 models with 180 000 mi and even a couple of them with 250 000 mi and one with more than 300 000 mi just make sure there are no leaks, the battery has to be in good condition, and the gearbox has to change gears flawlessly, + change all the fluids in time
Wonderful job...I had 2007 model 730LI , had to sell it ultimately due to transmission failure / hard shifting 3-4 gear Did BMW improve it in F01 models. Coz car becomes a scrap once transmission fails
Well, the possibility of transmission failure is quite similar on both models. But the most important thing is to change the oil in it regularly, then it will whitstand a lot.
Dont buy this car with 4.4 v8 its really bad... but 730d or 740d are good, bmw 5 f10 with 3.0 diesel engines are one of the most relaible cars by bmw latley do diesel are good and will not fail
hello ... thanks you for this video , its been very helpful ... but i saw your video after i purchased my car ... now am scared its a '2013 bmw 750i'... i need your advice on maintenance or i should just sell it
Listennnnnn just buy the 730D ;)). Leave the Petrols aside... The Petrols are unreliable and they consume too much fuel... The 730D is the most reliable engine on the F01 with perfect fuel consumption! ;)) Hope i helped you! Whatever you do don't chose the V8s or any of the Petrol engines.
My friend that works on bmw say the 740 are the best to get, the 750 will give you more problems. he hates woking on those bmw 7 series. I was close to purchasing a 16 740i but Lexus cars have always been good to me. I love the look of the 7 but my time and money is more important.
I just bought a 2014 750i with the 4.4. it has 73k miles. Everything seems to be running smooth so far. Reading these comments has me sick though. Should I be worried????
To minimize issues : -change the engine oil after max. 5 000 mi & don't use cheap oil -don't rev the engine past 2 000 - 2 500 RPM while it's cold, after warming up you can use it regularly (you have the oil temperature gauge on the instrument cluster so you will know when it's warmed up) -use high quality/premium fuel and use the car on longer distances too (using the car mainly on short distances is gonna cause issues sooner or later and its gonna shorten the lifetime of the turbochargers for example) -after dynamic driving don't shut off the engine right away, you should wait at least 30 seconds to let the turbochargers cool down a little -change the spark plugs approx. every 37 000 mi
Still fairing good, looking at one right now, 2013 750li but I need to know if it's the F01 or the F02 cause the Fo2 has the new engine into or reworked engine. It was made in 19/09/2013
@@themgreenshoes2562 well it's the N63B44O1 is the engine you have but there's a lot of different opinions on when it was made according to wiki is 2013 and accord to some it's 2014. N63B44O0 is the one you don't want.
Wish I saw this before I bought my 750i with 4.4. I've owned 7 BMW's and this one the maintenance is unreal, can even get an extended warranty. I have 58k on the 2014 and constant nickel/dime issues with door locks and everything he mentions with the infamous 4.4 engine. Warranty ended recently and last year BMW maintenance spent almost $20k in dealership costs. Timing chain and front seal was $8200 alone, injectors and two coils $5700 and now door locks. Dealer wants $1400 a door, I bought new locks on ebay for 76 dollars where BMW wants $574 each. If you buy this car and its nice be sure to find a local repair shop and have them on your speed dial I was shocked how a car that was $102k new, I bought for $46k with 10k miles and in show room condition the trade in value for a 5 year old, garage kept vehicle is $18k (58k miles, no accidents, dents, waxed showroom condition). They are not what they were before.
German cars are so well engineered that they are capable of presenting you with an array of faults and maintenance issues within a few hours after the warranty has expired.
@@antoinebernard8115 it was a 2014 and I kept it in good condition. Between the massive depreciation and the inability to get a Maintenace contract, when the used car market increased, I sold the car with 70k for 24k and was lucky to get it. The car was in showroom condition but finding good repair people is challenging. For example, the electronic door locks are 1400 a door to repair at BMW and I got to the point I bought them on Ebay for $80 and watched a youtube video and installed them per door. The car simply isnt like the BMW in the 1980 and 1990's, too many electronic issues and the dealership tried to sell me a new one and refused to do anything but a lease. You cannot own the new ones. A real shame because they were wonderful cars to own.
Hi I have a question for you ! Would you buy this car or S class ? What year ? I would like to know which one you would get from 2006 to 2011 I´m sure one of these cars is better than the other . Thanks
Well, first of all I would avoid the early production cars, so let's say cars from the first 2 years of production. I would personally choose the BMW, but only because it has better design(personal opinion), better handling and it's more of a driver's car. On the other side the S-class is more comfortable and it's also little bit more reliable than the 7 series.
I run a 2014 F01 with 40,000km and have never had a problem. Treat it well and service it and it will run without problems. I’ve had an AMG that cost me 000’s because I chose to drive it hard, but sometimes it’s the luck of the draw. Knowing who owned the car prior to buying second (or third) hand is an excellent indicator, and whether the car has been serviced correctly. If you can’t afford the service and replacement parts (like fuel filters which may cost USD4,000, or a Water pump which may cost USD300) then don’t buy a Euro luxury. Driving like a Lord or a Boss costs. Accept it. Insurance premiums, depreciation, additional fuel costs and all!
the 2009-2012 and a half 750i is what u shouldn’t buy because the turbos tend to fail which can cause the engine to fail in 2012 in a half they changed the v8
I have now owned 3 750i series a 2003 a 2008 and now a 2014. They all drive amazingly and lose a lot of their value fast. The worst one was the 2008 since for the 48 months I owned it I took into the shop 30 times. The cost of repairs to BMW was over $50K. After the warranty ran out the dealer advise me to sell it immediately since it would require $$$ more repairs. I drove a volt for 3 years which I disliked and returned to a 2014. It has a N63T engine and as the video says they are terrible but better than the earlier N63. BMW was sued and lost a big case in the USA and had to replace and repair about 200K engines. Unfortunately the N63T was not one of them and the problem I have is that the car burns a LOT of oil. I put the 100% synthetic AMSoil- mobile1 is >50% synthetic (that is the definition of full synthetic) so it does not hold. BMW's own oil also is only full synthetic. But engine even burns the 100% synthetic (2,500 miles a quart vs 750 miles a quart). But the car drive amazingly.
Man I'm really liking it 2012 in my area they are very nice cars and the price is incredible compared to new but yeah the warranty part is what's holding me back from getting it, I would love to have this car it looks great and it's presentable for events.
Any car is shit I see Mercedes s class 2011 replaces 2 engine now have 3 engine in If you look after the car you will not have problems my opinion When you buy a car make sure you have money to look after
Damn... never understand why German engineering is so good and yet so unreliable. Are they making them in such a way to make you get a new one every 3 years? I have mostly high end euro cars but I can never understand why a modern Lexus is designed to go 300k miles while the Germans call for replacement parts once it hit 60k miles which coincides with the end of warranty

Their chef has to polish their skill to deliver consistent "taste" of the dish everyday, else he can't be official keeping a "chef" title. Japanese cares a lot about "reputation" and "honor" Other luxury cars are not reliable too, e.g. Bentley, Porche, Maserati

Also there is no justification to put the blame on a customer if a company makes a poorly built product, sorry but that's just an ignorant excuse.

hey.. so do u recommend to buy a 2010 7 series 750i xDrive at 100k miles and cost 12k?
2 years ownership review: car 2009 740Li. Things that broke down:
1. 2 sensors (oxigen sensor and fuel??)
2. Cas4 module
3. Bluetooth module
4. All oil gaskets
5. Water pump
6. 2 front bushings
Car is around 80k miles/135k km. Easy and relatively cheap to fix (not dealerships)
For a bmw it is very reliable(if bmw is your thing you'll be happy with it) and i recommend the car.
What about a F10 535xi? Im looking at one with 85,000km
Dan Alex I assume your being sarcastic or serious because that seems like a lot of issues in short time

You are 3 months too late! I've been waiting for you to review this model. I purchased a 2012 back in February. I drive it daily and have had no problems with it so far. Keep up the good work.
Jerome Pinkney how's the car holding up?
It has been a joy. No problems with the exception of someone hit me a few weeks ago. Minor passenger side damage. It's in the body shop now, and I hope to have it back by Christmas. I can't wait to get my toy back.
What engine did you buy ?? What is the REAL MPG ?
Please let us know about your long term ownership experience
Bro how is it, I'm looking to buy one
Just bought same year similar miles!

Great video. I currently own a 2013 F02 N55 LCI MSport and it’s amazing. Heard too many stories about the N63 so that steered me away from it. No engine problems just oil changes every 3000-5000 miles. I also top off the coolant and oil every month or so. The transmision did start leaking. Fix: oil change. New gasket came bundled with the oil btw (so they know..)
I put 120k km on it (from 90k to 210k) and no other issues came up. Newer premium cars certainly aren't reliable, I guess I got lucky. Planning on getting a 2016 (the new model, one with around 100k km) soon, since the market value... went well :)

Man, I am dreaming of the day to see a happy BMW user who spends less than 6 weeks per year between garages.
🙌🏼
We’ve had 3 7 series. (2 E65s, 1 F01)
1st - 2004 745i... long story short if your looking for a 7 series DO NOT buy one of those.
2) 2008 750i... was ok, had its little problems here and there electrical wise.. had it for 9 months
3) 2011 BMW 750i (swb), blk on blk, DVD package, M sport package.
I took it into the BMW dealership and they told me the timing chain needed to go and it was a recall by what I remember the BMW service guy told me
2nd issue, oil consumption.. this is apart of the first problem and was due to the valve stems.
4th issue, rear glass blind motor failed
Oil changes were 299 CAD if I remember correctly.
I have a 2009 740i with no problems. All cars have problems if not basically maintained. So enjoy your BMW.
And lastly, wheels on these cars bend easily when fitted with low profile run flat tires and driven on poorly maintainedroads, expect to shell out for wheels and tire replacements....
ditch the car and buy a lexus instead
Superb Video keep up! I had one 730ld 2011 it was ok have now the 2015 730ld it is really good and reliable, economic, the 8 sped gearbox it's sems to be much better. I have to say the 7 series have to be serviced properly. It is the big eco raked!

Hey can you do an advice video for buying a used BMW 6 series gran coupe?
not in the near future, because it's still quite a new model, but I will do it as soon as there will be enough information about this car
what about a 2012 750li engine 4.4L V8 FI DOHC 32V NF4, Turbo. are those good
Shwagks J no man, stay away from the v8 in the 7 series.
Great video. Keep up the good work.
I love you bmw 7 series (2015)
that is the best one imo as far as reliabilty
New update on my extremely low mileage 2009 750Li.
The dealership tech discovered my car needs valve guide seals because it burned almost two quarts of oil in about 2100 miles. Praise God, BMW is picking up the entire cost of the repair. The car had a coolant leak and an air leak in a turbo return line. They said they'll roll those repairs into the valve guide replacement since they have to take all that apart anyway.
My faith in BMW is restored.
Is that the customer care package you are referring to?
Nothing to do with God, why not praise BMW, they're the ones picking up the entire cost of the repair.
Go to your service advisor and tell him or her that you want to know if your car qualifies for the Customer Care Plan.

good choice actually, 40 000 mi is nothing, I have seen numerous 760 models with 180 000 mi and even a couple of them with 250 000 mi and one with more than 300 000 mi
just make sure there are no leaks, the battery has to be in good condition, and the gearbox has to change gears flawlessly, + change all the fluids in time
Wonderful job...I had 2007 model 730LI , had to sell it ultimately due to transmission failure / hard shifting 3-4 gear
Did BMW improve it in F01 models. Coz car becomes a scrap once transmission fails

I just bought a 2014 750i with the 4.4. it has 73k miles. Everything seems to be running smooth so far. Reading these comments has me sick though. Should I be worried????
To minimize issues :
-change the engine oil after max. 5 000 mi & don't use cheap oil
-don't rev the engine past 2 000 - 2 500 RPM while it's cold, after warming up you can use it regularly (you have the oil temperature gauge on the instrument cluster so you will know when it's warmed up)
-use high quality/premium fuel and use the car on longer distances too (using the car mainly on short distances is gonna cause issues sooner or later and its gonna shorten the lifetime of the turbochargers for example)
-after dynamic driving don't shut off the engine right away, you should wait at least 30 seconds to let the turbochargers cool down a little
-change the spark plugs approx. every 37 000 mi
Still fairing good, looking at one right now, 2013 750li but I need to know if it's the F01 or the F02 cause the Fo2 has the new engine into or reworked engine. It was made in 19/09/2013

Thinking about purchasing this 2017 bmw 7 series 740i 90k miles on it.. is it trustworthy let me know
Wish I saw this before I bought my 750i with 4.4.
What year is your bmw?
I have the alpina b7 2014 2nd owner 58000 miles no issues
Hi I have a question for you !
Would you buy this car or S class ? What year ? I would like to know which one you would get from 2006 to 2011
I´m sure one of these cars is better than the other .
Accept it. Insurance premiums, depreciation, additional fuel costs and all!
what engine did u have?
Thanks!, I appreciate the info.
the 2009-2012 and a half 750i is what u shouldn’t buy because the turbos tend to fail which can cause the engine to fail in 2012 in a half they changed the v8
@ELIAS yes
So it is a bad car I just got mine 2013 with 45000 miles should I sale it??
Watch out for the front wheel comming off and driving off the cliff. Can be expensive.
Thank you, very informative.
Any car is shit
I see Mercedes s class 2011 replaces 2 engine now have 3 engine in
If you look after the car you will not have problems my opinion
When you buy a car make sure you have money to look after
Thanks for making the vid
Damn... never understand why German engineering is so good and yet so unreliable. Are they making them in such a way to make you get a new one every 3 years? I have mostly high end euro cars but I can never understand why a modern Lexus is designed to go 300k miles while the Germans call for replacement parts once it hit 60k miles which coincides with the end of warranty
Japanese's culture and law has a tendency to commit to their job and skill. Their chef has to polish their skill to deliver consistent "taste" of the dish everyday, else he can't be official keeping a "chef" title. Japanese cares a lot about "reputation" and "honor"
Other luxury cars are not reliable too, e.g. Bentley, Porche, Maserati
You had one and had this problem?
Gjon Juan There are tonnes of rich people who have purchased only used cars. Just because you saw this one guy from your neighborhood doesn't mean it applies to everyone. Also there is no justification to put the blame on a customer if a company makes a poorly built product, sorry but that's just an ignorant excuse.
Sing-Cheong Chen take out Porsche, theyre known to be reliable among sport car brands
They are made to keep you buying! They are designed only dealerships to fox .problems.
