She's 55. She's had to work harder in part because of how beautiful she is so people, esp. men, underestimate her. She seems to be a genuinely nice person. I'm glad she's taking her career to the next level with directing.

This film was extremely well done. I watched it for the first time and saw her name in the credits for *DIRECTOR*. So so proud of this woman and her illustrious career. Definitely one that needs to be appreciated and given her flowers.

Halle Berry is decidedly not black. She uses the black that she has in her for her own gain and to seek power in Hollywood that she doesn't have the talent to obtain otherwise, "it's finally time for black people to tell black stories" before she proceeds to make a film about a black woman who is ONCE AGAIN tough, belligerent, unmotherly, unemotional, and manly. Problem is, she doesn't have to deal with the consequences of constantly being portrayed as super humanly strong and manly. Trust me, when you are at the doctor's office in pain, you don't need doctors that have somehow formed the idea that you need less care or sub-par care because you are capable of taking the pain......wonder where they get that idea from. Halle Berry is destructive for black women due to the images and tropes that she keeps presenting that create negative stereotypes around us. Stereotypes that are getting us killed when people think that we are soooo much tougher than we actually are. She really needs to stop.

I loved this interview, and she did BRUISED on he own.. now other movie companies will be coming back to her to hire her such as Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, Lionsgate, Sony, etc. and all the other multi billion dollar movie companies to make millions (again) from her now that they see she still got it after watching this movie and seeing the ratings.
