My menopause lead to autoimmune disease because of hormonal imbalances and work stress. Regular medical doctors couldnt help and just prescribed anti-depressants. It took me doing tons of research of functional doctors for me to save myself. I eliminated stress, ate healthy and supplemented. That is what saved my life!

@tracienatural2405 Thank you so much. I appreciate the encouragement. Unfortunately, once I tell women experiencing similar symptoms to eat healthy, I lose their interest. I think they'd rather a doctor prescribe them a pill.

@@kellio8087 I believe you. The same thing happens to me. Using natural remedies, a healthy diet, exercise and stress management is far superior than pharmaceuticals. Women have been dealing with menopause for generations, so why has it become so critical in the past few decades? We need to reconnect with nature and stop poisoning the environment and ourselves!

I was given antidepressants and sleep medicine when I was in premenopausal. It is crazy that general practitioners doesn’t dive down to the root cause as to why those symptoms occurred! For me, perimenapause and menopause is so different.I started peri at 45 n had hot flashes but they weren't that bad n some anxiety. However when I turned 50,which I am now,my issues are severe hot flashes, anxiety, depression, headaches, insomnia, pelvic pain, back pain, and the newest thing that just started a week ago is my hands and feet are swelling up.I have a gyno appointment, but they cant get me in till beginning of July.Researching alot n going to see about HRT.I am also exercising, drinking alot of water, and completely changing my diet.Praying all you ladies go through this easily and get good information. All my love 💕💕💕🙏😘

You need good supplements. Water isn't going to cut it and neither will excercise. I'd recommend Pilates and some weight training and lots of walking. Bio identical hormones as well. That a deficiency in your body. And the symtoms occur in many different forms.

I was in peak health and the exact feedback Halle received was my experience and I refused to believe the test results, switched doctors and their test results were completely opposite. However, this one is zero help beyond a pap smear and ordering a lab test, they absolutely refuse to test and monitor my hormone levels. I am having an extremely difficult time locating a new doctor and am strongly considering going with a naturopathic doctor and pay for my treatment and lab/hormone testing 100% out of pocket, even though I have to pay for medical insurance every month. It's absurd. The doctors have created stress, when I wasn't even stressed about anything. I deeply appreciate this conversation and am figuring out exactly who and how to contact, as Halle is suggesting to request/demand progress.

Any negative thing about menopause is stemming from a male or man perspective. Women don’t see themselves as old and disregarded because their body is changing. Men put it down because women’s body changes and the man can’t get his way sexually or maid service to his benefit. Meno isn’t new. It’s centuries old and we’re talking about it like it just happened in the last few yrs.
    It’s disgusting.

Perimenopause is serious & the different symptoms that comes with it can be stressful. I challenge you women take it one day at a time, don't stress out, pay close attention to your body, make as many lifesyle changes as you possibly can (sugars, carbs, do a little strength training, jot things down in your calender for remi ders). Not saying this will help you totally because different remedies for different body chemistries. It will help with your mental & physical state of wellness. Doctors aren't specialized in menopause. No shot to them, but I found out the hard way. They kept sending me away. I did my research and continuing to study my body. I am on my journey to wellness & loving it. Also, please have heart to heart conversation with your soul mate. Remember: menopause is one day, Perimenopause is years and post menopause is a lifetime ❤️ Thanks Halle for advocating for us. Love ya girl! God speed!!

I sure hope that some of that money goes directly to women suffering in pain and torturously tired. I am 60 and work full-time. I absolutely need FMLA so i can have time off work. I need money to get massages and rest from work. Maybe some acupressure or accupuncture. Yes self help not big pharma to get all that allocated money. Yes women take many supplements and change bad food habits. Money for self help. Just found out it is too late to start HRT. I was scared to try it earlier. We need doctors to have menopause knowledge and not just be pill pushers about it. Thank you for getting the information out there. And to start early . Make sure women know about perimenopause. And what to do. I told a co worker about this video and told her my mistake. And told her to start early.

about health and exercise and weightlifting. so that we dont keep having so many women injure their hips back knees and have stress fractures. thanks! i dont know that the government cares. but im so grateful for you!

In thier research I hope they look into adrenal/ HPA axis issues. Many women end up with bad menopause transitions due to chronic go go go, toxins, various stressors, etc. It makes us sick before we even start menopause. Technically the adrenals are suppose to get us into that phase of life safely. So a lot of us are chronically stressed, toxic or traumatized and sick before our bodies switch over. Peri menopause isn’t the cause. It’s just the trigger puller for what was already loaded in the chamber. This is why we see many chronic diseases and cancers rear up at this phase of life for women. When the adrenals are stressed they cannot do what the ovaries are not doing anymore. HRT isn’t the answer with these underlying issues. The studies need to go into Gut, liver, adrenals, thyroid, etc.. The DUTCH test is a good way to see how your body is metabolizing hormones. This needs to get better for us women. Finding out the root causes. We need to teach young girls and teens this. This is no joke and life changing. I thought I was in good shape and then I turned 40 and all it’s like my body changed so drastically. Like it was working against itself.

Progestin.. synthetic progesterone is to be avoided. You can get bio identicals. You need to be on good supplements and a good diet as well. It all depends on the woman.. overall the Estradiol protects but a few women can get cancers from the estradiol = HRT. Not the BHRT. This is usually over a long period of time.

You don't take hormones for birth control that's on the individual lots of other forms. And they shut some of the natural hormones down. I don't consider the pill hormones. Yes there is the newer HRT and then bio identical or body identicals. It's the environment we live in its effecting our health overall.

Many women do, yes. It affects the urogenital system. The symptoms vary, unique to every woman. It can be hot flashes, cold flashes, palpitations, general temperature being higher, dry eyes, dry mouth, dry vagina and vulva, dry skin in general, hair loss, hair thinning, poor digestion or constipation, mood swings, irritability, feeling down, loss of libido or loss of feeling when touched, fatigue that makes one feel run down even if sleeping, sleep badly, painful joints, weight gain mainly around the abdomen, feeling the need to pee more often, sensitive bladder, high cholesterol, and more. Ayurveda has very good knowledge to learn from to about menopause.
