Halle Berry is a very underrated actress. Not too many people in Hollywood, men or women, can play these roles and kill it the way she did. Kudos to Keanu as well.
Yes Halle is sorely underrated. Her looks are always praised and personal love life focused on, but the media hasn’t caught up with home much she has evolved and what she has accomplished.

I love how they touched on gun safety. That is so untalked about in Hollywood. Guns are glamorized in every action movie and Im glad they discussed it briefly

However, what the original comment here is trying to say is that Halle Berry has been consistently putting In the Work when it comes to stunts, Extra time and Shoots, Funding her own Projects, and generally going above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to working hard.
I have respect for all actors, it's certainly not an easy job, especially in the public eye.
But I have ALOT of Respect for Keanu, Halle and Donnie Yen, as well as all the John Wick team, as they spend Days on End Training for these roles, and i think that deserves an extra Distinction
She absolutely killed it (pun intended) in Chapter 3.
I would be down,if they made a spin-off with her character,when the main John Wick storyline ends.
Sure training payed off cause, in my opinion, the Casablanca escape is the best action scene of the trilogy.

The bazaar section of that movie with the attack dogs was simply incredible. Well worth the effort! She should definitely return in No4.

Halle Berry has always been my fitness inspiration. Of course she's an amazing award-winning actress, but her commitment to good health has always been inspiring over the years. She was MAGNIFICENT in John Wick 3! I hope to see her in the next movie.
She just totally nailed it, her acting and her physical action was top notch. I can watch this chapter over and over again. She is so beautiful as the years pass by.

Yes, for lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of years!
You serious? I can tell she tried, but she fell flat on so many scenes and couldn't sell the action as Keanu did. There's no power or intensity to many of her CQC scenes and it makes it look like she's dancing out there instead of fighting.

So much discipline and dedication to make her character believable. Outstanding.
So this is what I mean by the hard work shows on the screen. This stunt team is amazing. Telling the actor upfront about the challenges of the work then the actor accepting that. I love what Keanu said about Halle. When I saw the movie in the theaters I knew she did most of the work in those scenes. What I love most about this director and the stunt team is they shoot the action. They don't have to shake the camera like it's WorldStar. Let the action be filmed and then edit that action I love it. It's like wiping your ass with silk.

Her and the dogs are worthy of their own movie. What a great 8-9 minutes of action they were. They were far better than Keanu.
I was down with the knife fight scene at the weapons museum... That made the movie.

I can appreciate her confidence and dedication to training, and wanting to apply the”real world”skills to her day to day life, but to bank on being lucky enough to take an assailants weapon and use it on them because she’s uncomfortable owning a firearm is a pipe dream. If your comfortable enough to use a criminals weapon, then you will be far more comfortable using your own. If an a-hole wants to deal you damage bad enough they will, it doesn’t matter how tough you are or how much training you have… being comfortable with your own weapon allows you to mitigate risks, and God forbid if the need arises that you ever would have to defend yourself… a firearm affords you the ability to keep distance between you and an assailant limiting their ability to engage you physically. If you’ve ever fought a drunk Russian or an American crackhead or practically any angry Irishman then you know that there are people out there that are immune to bodily harm! So, you have to treat them like zombies and shoot them in the head!
She remarkable, I highly respect her work ethic and her artistry as an actor

Awesome!!! I was super impressed with her performance in John Wick, in fact for me it was one of the best I've ever seen her in. She not only looked great but she made it look easy.

The fight choreography in this franchise is phenomenal. Heard the same choreographer will be used for Birds of Prey.
Excellent. Halle is spit on when she said you have to know what to do with a sidearm/handgun. Training is the key! I've helped train over 20 church members and the results were very positive.
