Loved how you warmed yourself up! I found myself wandering such plain messy spaces close to home when Australia was in lockdown mode. I found it fascinating that there could be image to be found anywhere. What seemed like a rubbishy spot, actually had a lot to give. I could still go out locally to home with a camera for my "walk" . . . . And we were there were few others doing so. Bonus! The first time I could go bush once lockdown was shifting was absolute joy though, the smell of the earthy mosses and damp composting bush floor. Oh it was bliss.

The most energetic photography vlog opening EVER! Haha! Great shots Courtney and good to see the D750 in action. Yes I agree, need to slow down and take a good look around you because you can pass some specific detail in the woodlands and miss it. Thanks for sharing the video, enjoyed watching 👍🙏

It was nice to have the D750 out and in action again! I can only hope no passersby noticed the filming of the opening! Not really a normal thing to be doing in the trees haha! Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

There must be a way that you can be given the title: "The Best Dancing Woodland Photographer of the Woodlands!" Wonderful episode Courtney, keep up the great work.

Taking one's time is especially difficult for those of us with anxiety, as I always feel like, if I don’t shoot something right away, the lighting conditions will change for the worse when I am ready to capture it. (Unfortunately, I have enough past examples of that actually happening to find it hard to convince myself it won’t.)
One thing I hadn’t thought of until watching this video is that the forest in your area is predominantly Xdeciduous. Here in the northwest U.S., most forests are mainly evergreen, so there isn’t as much of a problem with the sky.

Best intro and outro award goes to you! 😂 great video again - I agree with all points you discussed on woodland photography, I love this genre of photography but also find it intimidating. Always struggle with bright skies here in Aus’. Got some great shots throughout this video as well, I especially liked the ones in the ‘managing skies’ section. ✌️ 💃 🕺

Haha! Not sure if I'll be able to out-dance that intro in the future though! I'd say I find woodland photography fairly intimidating too and it's something I'd love to feel more comfortable and confident with over time. Thank you for your wonderful comment and for watching! Have a great weekend!

What about B&W? Would make some spectaculor contrasting images. Experiment with contrast when you find yourself in a bleak chaotic setting. Do so enjoy your dancing in the woodland. Pretty sure the trees enjoy your dancing also. Keep on doing what you do. Enjoy watching all your videos. It amazing how much teaching you accomplish in these short videos. A 10 miniue video +/- a minute or two is your sweet spot. Please don't change this format. Keeps me wanting more so I eagerly await your next video like I'm doing now. Have you considered the D 780? I'm looking at that model at the moment. Cheers!

Hey Courtney, I've actually watched a few of your videos now over the last couple of weeks. So thought I'd drop this in. You have a very unique style (not just the dancing....although that is unique!) that is naturally flowing and thoughtful....whilst coming across as completely unforced. The work that went into your tripod video was great and this was a really good woodland wander. And going back to your Korean stuff too, really easy to watch whilst thoroughly engaging. At this stage I must state that I am definitely NOT a sycophant (honest!) and really not into the whole comment in order to get a comment thing. Just wanted to say I really like your stuff and as a 'filmmaker/content creator/whatever' I really enjoy watching how others create a story and you do it pretty well.

Thank you for this lovely comment, it is really appreciated. I enjoy creating these kinds of videos a lot and it is nice to know that people enjoy them too, whether it's the content itself or just the filming/editing style. Thanks again.

Well, I'll never doubt your dancing skills ;-)
Small tip that worked for me... I was shooting some pile of mushrooms under a tree once but something was missing there, than I realized I had a water bottle with me that has like a sprinkle option for sports etc. so I sprinkled some water droplets on the mushrooms and it pretty much changed the whole photo
