    One tip to stop your tripods from getting blown over is to hang your camera bags from under them to add some mass to the tripod 😉👍

    Thank God for your TH-cam channel, Courtenay! You’re a wonderful breath of fresh air, you take awesome photos and I’m so pleased you don’t mess about with technical stuff about cameras and lenses. By the Ralph said, “Let’s stay home and relax, hey?” 😊

    Your story-telling is sooo good in this vlog. It’s just simply enjoyable😀 sorry about the mishap with the camera😩 Btw. Ralph didn’t seem too interested in leaving that snuggly abode😄😄

    Great video Courtney. Now I know how the D750 got hurt. Did not know the ZV1 took a hit as well. Hope the repair goes well. Thanks for sharing the video 👍🙏

    • @CourtneyVictoria
      @CourtneyVictoria  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the ZV1 wasn't too bad but I decided to get it repaired rather than keep using it and make a small problem into a large one! I'm already missing it though and look forward to using it again 😂

    Really enjoyed this one, Courtney. It's awful when your cameras take a hit, I can relate to that one.
    Spring is right around the corner though so that's something to look forward to.
    Have a good one 🖖😁

    Love when you put the dance in the video's, I don't have the courage to do that, maybe one day. Sucks about your gear, I know the feeling having broken my favorite lens last year, thanks for sharing.

    Nice one Courtney, hope you stayed safe and all well during the storms. Enjoyed the variety in this video, the printer segment and dance break were my fav 😂. Sucks about the camera issues. Ralph seems happy to chill at home haha

    Great look behind the scenes Courtney. I am currently on my 2nd Aony ZV-1. I had the same exact thing happen. Wind blew it over, straight onto the lens. Sent it in to be fixed and it wasn't worth the price of repair. I love the camera, so I had to break down and buy another one. Loved the look at your printer setup and the prints look amazing, might have to look into this printer! Great video! Hope you are doing well.

    • @CourtneyVictoria
      @CourtneyVictoria  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh damn, luckily mine wasn't an arm and a leg to repair. I could have continued to use it but I was worried I'd break it further in doing so. It's a fantastic camera though so I don't blame you for buying it again. Thanks for watching and have a great week! 👍

    Fantastic behind-the-scenes vlog, Courtney. Wish I would have found your channel sooner! Great looking printer setup. I'd love to get a printer someday. I live a bit too much of a nomadic lifestyle at the moment. Someday. Ah, yes. Breaking camera gear. I broke two lenses in a year, that's not so much fun. I guess it's part of the experience sometimes.

    Funny :) :P :P Great video and loved the jiving :P All you needed was a mirror ball and some flashing coloured lights :) :P You should keep your D7000 as a second camera, just in case you have trouble with the 750. I'd also keep the film cameras as well, but that's just me (and, I like shooting film).

    I enjoyed this video Courtney! The Nikon D7000 was my first DSLR camera! I used it up until I got the Z6 in January 2020. Now, it just sits on my shelf with the cheap 18-200 mm lens it came with. Haven't decided what to do with it. 🤔

    @courtneyvictoria Audio tip #2: For interior shots, run the wire inside your shirt, and clip the microphone at the collar, outside the shirt. No wind muff required for indoor (unless a fan is blowing on you). Visually, this will look better. Your video shooting is all great - lighting, composition, storytelling. Just a couple small tweaks with your audio to get you to that next level. ~ Sound guy Larry :)

    You really are such a treasure, such a beautiful person. 😊
    A aside, the only photo tragedy I've had in 20+ years of shooting...was accidentally leaving an Olympus E-M10 mark 2...on top of my car after a shoot. I was putting gear away and saw a lovely sunset happening, so I pulled the camera out of the bag and snapped a shot or two. Put the bag back in the car and headed off.......the camera was 24 hours old and fell off the car about a half mile down the road at 40mph.
    It took 72 hours to get a new battery for it so I could even see if it worked or not. It was perfectly fine, just some road rash on it and a little character.
    It was a tense few days with that sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach, especially as I couldn't find everything because...as I said...I decided to do this at sunset. 🙃

    This answered a question I had. I figured if I watched enough you'd give away your secrets. I was curious about what camera you used to record video with. It was obvious it wasn't the D750.

    Hello :-)
    I've just come across your channel and you have a new subscriber.
    I would personally hold onto the D7000 as your backup, just in case, although I would bite your hand off for one ;-p
