As a long time and retired Police Sergeant, it puzzles me that "some" of the current day officers that I see on TH-cam lack any kind of common sense. That should be the most important prerequisite to be an officer, the rest can be learned, but your use of common sense will come into play every day, no exception. This officer is an idiot!!
As a Police Officer this officer you encountered needs a stern verbal lashing by his Police Chief. You are doing a great thing and this is what is lacing today, people not helping each other. I thank you for doing a fantastic job and helping the community. If you were in my area and I saw you, I would be bringing water, food etc. Go complain loudly to the Police Chief or City Hall.
Agree 100% go complain to his supervisor, your not looting the place (and I don’t imagine there’s much worth looting) I’m sure every neighbor in that community would have loved you to complete that job. Police have the ability or should to use common sense, your clearly doing no harm, your doing a good thing, sounds like that cop in your town doesn’t have enough to do and is just bored, and he’s also not thinking about all the other people in your community that have to live near or look at that overgrown lot. And the owner may very well appreciate your effort, maybe they are elderly, or Sick or both, clearly they can’t maintain their lot. How many notices were on that property for code enforcement violations, probably none as bylaw or law enforcement whoever does that in Florida (I don’t know I don’t live there) obviously doesn’t care what the lot looks like. For that cop to kick you off the property for doing a good thing, not only for the property owner but for the rest of the neighborhood, it’s not hard to see you were doing a good thing, and not a threat to the home owner’s property whatsoever. I would definitely complain to his supervisor (hopefully it’s not such a small town that he is the only supervisor you could complain too) I also think usually in small towns and community’s if he is the top official, than that is likely an elected position and in that case I’d talk to the news I’d make this public, so the rest of the town can see what type of person they have elected, and maybe they won’t make that mistake again.
Robert, you aren't even close. That FUKING PIG needs to be covered with ticks and RED FIRE ANTS!! Most people would die under these circumstances. NO NO NO, the ticks only shit on the pig and the ants, they did more if the same. They were discussing how foul pigs are. The coyotes, only took 1 bite and left the scene!! Pigs will be pigs!!
@@honda200twinstar3 good point, pretty sure I saw some of the back windows open already, so someone’s either already squatting in there, and if not certainly animals would have gotten in there. I can just imagine what the inside looks like with open windows in the Florida humidity the almost daily rain storms. That will likely be a home that needs to be bulldozed. Such nonsense for that cop to kick him off the property when he’s trying to help, yeah he might make a lil money off the you tube videos but he’s still helping the rest of the neighbors who live around there. I really hope that he complains, if that’s a possibility not sure how small that town is, if it is that small and he’s an elected sheriff than just going public May be enough for the town to vote someone else in as sheriff next time elections come around.
Also as a retired police officer, a city officer CAN Not tell you on private property to get off someone else’s property unless the owner specifically instructs you too. He has absolutely no authority. NONE. As a lawyer now, I would be happy to fight that ticket/charge with a big ass smile on my face. Keep doing Great things for your community.
W.L. Richardson, it's people like you that can make a gaint difference in a small town, big city! How did it get soo bad, SIR, respect respect? Is there ANYTHING, any insight to how to get the TRUST, and the 'good cops' back into people's lives? Right now probably less than 30% trust the police. I trust SOME cops, but as a hole, can't seem to wrap my head around the "WHY" cops are now scared for their own lives instead of PROTECT & SERVE the public FIRST!! I think officer saftey for themselves, first hamper serving the public! They make you sit on the ground, fat chance!! No thank you I'll stand, b 4 you know it you are under arrest and on the ground. When that happened to me, cop forced me down, I did the same exact same thing to him. I BEAT IT IN COURT, + All my expenses, + $5300! Insight please!!
Thats fine for you but who wants to waste a day in court for this nonsense just to make a point.. He did the right thing by just leaving. If the neighbirs want something done about it, they can attend the next city council meeting and complain. Your "big ass smile" means nothing.
i was wondering about that... how does the officer know that isnt a paid job by the owner? does he patrol the city stopping landscaping crews? must be pretty low crime if he has time to do that
I was a cop for over 20 years he sounds like he’s one of those power trip guys who used to get his ass kicked as a kid, there’s plenty of those out there. The most important thing I learned from my training Sgt was how to talk to people with respect and understanding.
Yes, I’ve run into that many times. I did not put up with it in the men and women that served under me when I was in the USMC and I don’t put up with it in the men and women that serve under me as Deputies and Sergeants in the Sheriff’s Department.
It's about money, the city can't issue fines if it is cleaned up. Don't let them deter you. You did a great job, thank you for kindness and for caring.
They probably don't collect on the fines if it's an abandoned property. Don't understand why people don't sell them instead of just letting them sit there and rot away.
@@jameshoward1215 The cop couldn't care less if it got cut or not. He's just another power-hungry thug who thinks his clown costume and that stupid piece of tin that's pinned to it, give him the authority to control the universe. This is why they are hated all around the country. This type of behavior that is condoned by the rest of the thugs in the department I'll bet that not a single cop in the station house even mentions to him that he's a tyrant.! They all think the same way. They all think they are superior to us mere mortals. Great job douche bag, keep earning the hate.
How can you say the Cop was ‘all for cutting the property’? If he was all for cutting he’d of said; I’m going to lunch now and I’ll be back by in about 3 hrs. If you’re still here I’ll have to ticket you.’ But no, he made him get up and leave right now!!
So because his heart's in the right place. It's okay to break, even though he originally didn't see the sign, the law or choose which laws to obey? Do we all get that right?
The police officers job is great deal when you need one or more to have in this corrupt country. He was doing his job. The young man mowing should have noticed NO TRESPASSING!
You, Sir, are a credit to your community, and I`m sure that thousands of us viewers are in your corner. That cop, however, needs a SERIOUS reprimand (at the very least, or even firing). If you post the phone number of the local City Hall/ Mayor`s Office, we can call them to voice our opinion. Good luck !
@@jinov191 Absolute Bullshit....since there was no owner or other person of authority on hand (obviously for MANY years) to press charges of trespassing, that cop had ZERO authority in this matter.
Sad thing is there are more of us that do good schtuff for the pure sake of doing the right thing but lawers and lawmakers have corrupted our system so much that we live in fear to do something nice
As Ex law enforcement. I know exactly what kind of officer you were dealing with. I can't remember how many times I had to tell a staff member to pull their head in and stop being gung-ho. It was mostly the rookies or brown noses trying to impress the boss.. Your doing a mighty fine job for the community. Keep up the. goog work.
The city makes more money by fining delinquent homeowners and eventually forcing them to foreclose on their neglected properties. Sad that certain cops could careless about the condition of their communities and are unable to realize the low morale of the residents around these derelict places. We appreciate people like yourself who go out of their way to make our lives and neighbourhoods better places.
Trashy yards violate most City "clean yard" ordinances, but even more importantly, failure to enforce those laws results in lower property values in the neighborhood, which lowers tax revenue, which reduces the money available to pay the Barney Fifes on the payroll to ride around and harass people. Property-owning neighbors, who don't like the City's refusal to require people to keep their property minimally clean, will ultimately decide to move out of town to avoid the rats and snakes living on that property and the crime caused by drug dealers and addicts attracted to overgrown, abandoned property, and in order to be free from petty tyrants like the Barney Fife in this video. The sign appears to pre-date the abandonment of the property, and it is the lawful owner who would have to testify in Court about his or her ownership, the reason for their failure to maintain the property, and their current desire to enforce an ancient "no trespassing" sign, which may or may not be what they want. If City taxes haven't been paid on it, the City may actually own the property through its tax lien, and be responsible for maintaining it in accordance with City and State law. If our host has a lawyer buddy, that lawyer could get to the bottom of the ownership and maintenance issues in less than an hour.
Protecting the neighbors from snakes and what ever else is in there is reason enough for cutting that down and glad you did! 👍🏻Cop should have been more appreciative!
Had he gotten hurt on their property, the owners of the property could have been liable for his injuries. That's why they have a sign posted. Had the cop allowed him to continue cutting and he would have gotten hurt, the property owners would have wanted to know why the cop did not do his duty. Having said that, I bet the city will send workers to the property and cut it and then charge the homeowners without having permission to be on the property.
@@michaelsteiner7588 He seems to understand the liability aspect and decided to cut it anyway. I the city plans are sending someone to cut it wouldn't they be subject to the same liability aspect because the city would need permission from the owner. If the city was going to cut it they would have done it before the weeds grew 6ft tall.
@@michaelsteiner7588if the city has not sent anyone out yet, the chances of them sending anyone out ever are slim to none. They are more interested in collecting fines over public safety. This hurts someone’s pocketbook, guaranteed. Probably to big, fat, man hating female running the ersatz “homeowners association.” If you don’t hit them hard the first time they try to railroad you, you are up for a world of hurt.
A good cop would have appreciated the fact that you were doing a good deed for the community and kept on driving. I’m sure the neighbors were happy to see the property/ grass cut.
@@jayjaynella4539 Remember the property does have a no trespassing sign on it. Surely the county has records of who owns the property. The owners could be contacted and asked if they would give permission to have it mowed.
My neighbor passed away a few weeks ago. I've been mowing his lawn in his memory. Yesterday, his son came over to thank me and he gave me his dad's riding mower because I guess he heard I just had a push mower. He's planning to sell his dad's house and he's having an estate sale this weekend. I plan on going over to buy the mobile raised flowerbeds I helped his dad build. I doubt anybody else will be willing to pay for them.
You did a great job, that cop should have been appreciative of what you do for his community. I wish we had people like you around here we surely appreciate the love you spread through your help.
to be honest he still gets payed well when doing it for free depending on how many views the video gets and how many people were watching the ads during the video. i was looking this up the other day, and apparently a youtuber earns 5 cents per view, so long as the youtuber is averaging over 1,000 views per video and getting youtube adsense. so if they make millions of views on one video, they can make a pretty good sum of $ on that videos views, but they can only do this so often because only some videos get this many views, so don't quit your day job just yet lol. now if they were also an influential youtuber who did commentary kind of content talking about something people could be interested in listening to and were influential enough to gain more attention to each and every video, they could make a shit load per video if they consistently get millions of views per video. but most can't do this, so they typically choose to build their following and only offering their services for free once per week or month, if they can afford to do so, i'm thinking of maybe getting my brother into doing something like this for his tile setting company, if he had a good following and just stuck with the work and didn't get into any politics, he could not only get more customer's for his business, but he could make a little extra on the side with the youtube channel.
@user-tp5yb4hr4w so basically you're proving my point. I don't have anything against what he's doing, it's just the other comments of how nice he is for doing it.
@@artaxerxes2363 interesting, your comment was actually hidden from me so i never saw your comment. but if this is along the lines of what you said, then yes i would be agreeing with you, again i still can't see your other comment, youtube likes to hide comments for whatever reason because youtube is stupid that way sometimes. i mean he's still a nice person for doing this for sure, it's just it's not all out of pure generosity is what i'm saying, another example was a tv show that was on tv roughly 15 years ago, the show was all about building houses for people in need for free, for people who worked but fell on hard times and needed help, well they had this crew who would build houses for these people to live within, and the reason why this show was able to afford this in the first place was they were funded by the views and the ads shown on tv. so it was still a good and generous thing to do for these people, but they made well over the enough money doing this show by the ratings and the ads playing on the videos so they could afford it very well each and every time no problem, i wish i could remember the name of the show, but it was too long ago. but it is a good business model for charity because everything is suddenly more affordable doing it this way. i wonder if they need to do something like this for free clinics for people and just make a youtube channel out of this deal, the people getting the help they need might have to consent to the video filming them maybe blur out their faces and voices somewhat, but i could see this helping the funding for free hospital clinics as well and allow some better coverage for people, it's too bad to many hospitals care more about money than the people they treat to much businesses are only motivated by money to the extent where they are viewed by regular people as evil, i know a lot of people who don't trust doctors for this very reason, so they will stay away from them because the vast majority only care about money and will do things to keep people sick or do things that require more visits which makes the doctors and hospitals more money, it's really creepy for a business that is all about saving lives and doing no harm. anyway, sorry this was a little long.
I am sorry that this happened to you. As one who is in law enforcement I would have tried to find the owner and contact them and ask. It's the times for sure. We have the same kind in our department as well. What you did was looking good in what you done. Don't let it get you down. It's their loss
Correct me if I am wrong but at some point the city is going to issue a citation to the homeowners for a nuisance violation because their yard/grass/weeds are over a certain height. Whether or not he has the homeowners approval it certainly saved the homeowner time or money depending on who cuts it. Not sure I follow the logic of the police officer but I am sure that some suit happy individual or lawyer will find some fault for trying to help your fellow man!
@@jeffsmith5561 It's not outside the realm of possibility that this cop knows that the city is about to fine the property owner and he doesn't want the city to lose that money. Let's remember, some cops are there to collect revenue for the entity they work for. I wonder if the neighbors would file a complaint against this moronic thug. If I was a neighbor, I certainly would.
You call a person who took his personal time, equipment depreciation and loss of revenue to HELP an indivdual with their yard a moronic thug?...... what do you call people who are organ donors....Killers, give blood, volunteer at homeless shelters? It's certainly your right to say what you want but I respectfully disagree with you. And typically, police are not out collecting for code enforcement violations that is handled by another department within the city. Should the homeowner never cut his yard then liens are filed against the property and collected by the city when the property is sold or if the homeowner refinances their property.
This service deters the home being utilized by criminals. The police should be giving you an award. Not too long ago somewhere in TX an abandoned house was used for human trafficking.
Bless you for doing a good thing for that neighborhood. The Police Officer was just being difficult, most are not like that, and you did the right thing by just quietly leaving. Keep being an asset to your community.
Obviously you know the reputation of this officer because of the way the video was started. Like you said had you seen the sign(which I am not sure you could see among the overgrown yard) you would not done the job. God bless you for trying to do good in the community. We need more people like you to make this world a better place.
Barney strikes again! What a beautiful effort you put into helping reduce a fire hazard and threat to the neighbors properties! Please keep the faith and the fantastic work you are doing!
The police is there to serve the people of the town. It's nice he stopped to check on things and you were honest with him. He should have understood you were helping the owner, the neighbors and the community. After all, its his community too! He could have made a call to find out about the status of the property and if it was truly abandon, he should have let you continue. If there was an owner listed, he could tell you and you could then get permission to continue. Thank you for helping those in need. You are very much appreciated by the community and those watching.
Wonder if you took a picture of the place and took it to the city mayor. If he could get it okayed for you to cut. It sure is beyond being neglected. Fire hazard? Some city's post violation notices of needing cleanup. If not done within a certain amount of days, the owners get a hefty fine. Looks real nice what you did do. Definitely needs alot more care. 👍👍
Here's my question. Who was so put off by this guy mowing a lawn that they called a cop to come and stop him.?? One would think that the neighbors would appreciate the effort to keep their street looking good.
They are not there to "Serve or Protect" that was a slogan that came from an advertising agency. Their job is to investigate crimes and enforce the laws put forth by the local government. The officer is doing his job the property is posted. Just think if he let or told him go ahead and finish the job and he gets hurt, the Town/City can now be liable do to the officer overstepping or failure to enforce the law.
Yup! Ain't no wonder that a lot of people wanted to defund them, back about 3-3 1/2 Years Ago. All it takes, is one bad, know-it-all "Cop", to destroy a lot of trust between the Police, and the Citizens of our Nation.. and even, of our World! I noticed that he called that "Cop" a "Barney Fife". He's right on that point, too. Nobody needs to deal with a "Legalized" Barney Fife! They're no good to the Community...or to themselves!!!
Cop wasn't doing his job unless the owner called the police. Next time, call the county to report a blight property, and then maybe offer the owner a free mow.
New subscriber here and I must tell you how impressive your clean ups are , and the AFTER transformations are amazing! Great guy, u are!!!. Thanks. As a severely disabled woman who can't even walk anymore at 42 years old , due to an incurable disease called bilateral lymphedema of the legs and feet, it makes me miss the days of doing these things. I so so so miss cutting my grass, weed eating, andplanting my flower beds and vegetable garden , it gave me such pride, and my yard was beautiful. I'm not ever going to be able to do it again, but suppose I'll live vicariously through your amazing content.
Only issue with this approach is they could escalate the situation and end up in jail with charges or even worse. That said that would be the ideal thing to do or just a silly thought have a remote controlled mower😊
@jasonthorogood nothing you do or don't do can prevent an egotistical cop from doing whatever he/she wants to. If you slow or reluctant to speak, it's suspicious. If you talking too much and forthcoming, it's suspicious. So if they arrest you for being silent, they probably was gonna do that regardless. At least you have given your lawyer the best chance to fight charges. Never assist a cop investigate yourself. Let them do their job, and the chips fall where they may.
You are a good soul. Sadly, people in uniforms who you'd think would exercise some common sense would see beyond the end of their noses. The absence of such common sense and balance in a public official, is very troubling, to say the least! Not a good day for law enforcement and does nothing to give the public confidence & trust. This type of officer should have no place holding such a position. It speaks volumes as to the absence of their character!
You are an amazingly calm man. You can tell you’re irritated, yes, but you calmness is refreshing. As for the job you do, it’s a thankless job that’s actually making things more beautiful. Keep it up & I have much respect for you Sir ❤️✌️

It’s always a precious thing to have people care about the community and not just themselves. You stand for great things. It’s a shame how this was not apparent to the officer…that’s his path in life and it’s OK. God Bless and great work!!
Sorry for the neighbors and you for what happened. Could go to public records and found out who owns it. Ask them, if they say yes, then when “Barney “ shows up, you can tell him you have permission. Thank you for what you do.❤️
Not all properties are in public records many properties owned by landlords are in land trusts it makes it difficult for you to find out who the owner is, unless the courts allow it for legal reasons. Know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.

Brad and Tip, I relate to this. My wife and I are cleaning up an inheritance house, 144 miles from our home. Incredible, 5 conjoined lots in a beautiful residential neighborhood. I passed on to our tree cutter that we'd be on the market in 6 months, and is incredible! We got an email from a local accountant expressing interest in buying, etc. Surprise, we then got a letter from the County about arrearages for tax payments, and the penalty? Public auction of house, in 6 weeks? Paid the missing tax money, immediately! Next, email threatening foreclosure 4 days later! Holy shit! Karens everywhere, games everywhere! Trust no-one!
That is just sickening! The police are to serve and protect, not undercut homeowner and betray! Wherever you live I hope they are called out for their real estate racket. It’s seems almost criminal to me! Could you write a letter to the editor of your local paper? Let others know!

I completely agree with the other officers who replied to your post. I’m retired now, but I used to say thanks to the guys who, out of the goodness of their Hearts, did this kind of public service. I was a chief of police and I would have made sure that officer, (usually a new guy who wore that badge in the middle of their forehead), went home that with a lot less in the seat of his pants.
I hear that, that officer is bound to get some flak from his police chief, if enough of the neighbors complain about him running off the lawn care guy doing this video. You never know, he ciuld jyst hate his job, or he's power tripping.
and what would you have done if he damaged that property and left and the cop did not get his name and did not tell him to leave, would he also leave with a lot less in the seat of his pants for not following the law?
@@jinov191 you apparently do not have the ability to understand the law. The cop can't be the victim, the cop can't make up crimes, the cop can't decide on his own who should or shouldn't be on private property. Lets get the crayons for all you "it's the law" people. Suppose the owner, a family member, friend, etc is on the property. Power trip cop comes by , sees people on the property and tells them they got 10 minutes to get off the property or the cop will trespass them from property he doesn't own, hasn't had a complaint about. Trespass law requires a victim aka property owner to complain that a trespass has occurred before law enforcement can act. If anyone still doesn't get it try a Google search. Rolling eyes, walking away.
I thank you for your hard work. I'm sorry that jerk stopped you. I need help with my place, so I wish someone like you would help. But no such luck -- for years now. The kicker: lawn services pass by all the time.

There is a huge difference between the 2 blades!!
You did a great job even if the police did care how you are helping that person who owns that house. I hope they will contact you to keep cut and clean that area.
There is always one in every town, what you did do was a big improvement. My hubby was a cop, and he once told me, does the man wear the uniform… or…does the uniform wear the man. This cop was pushing his uniform a bit, don’t you think. But I thank you for trying.
The name of your channel reminds me of what my grandmother used to say. "Can't never did anything" Some officers let the job go to their head. It gives other good officers a bad name.
WWJD, you did what He would do. The officer was doing his job 🤔👮 or trying to. Maybe he was having a bad day. 🤷You are a BIG Blessing to the neighborhood for what you did accomplice so thank you and God bless. ❤
If I were him, I'd never do anything for anybody ever again. Screw it. As I said, no good deed goes unpunished. Especially if the neighbors are going to call the cops on him. The hell with them all.
If I were that cop, I'd think long and hard about the times we are going into....do they not want ANYONE left to stand with them if the shit hits the fan in the world? I will tell you one thing...people with power tripping asshole attitudes will be the first to be lost in the woods forever.
I would find out who owns it, for no other reason than figuring out why the city sends a cop out to guard an abandoned property. Once I investigated that, then I would be sending the city council an email, or phonecall to complain that the city isnt taking care of ITS job to make sure ALL residents keep a tidy yard, and the fact that you have a narcissist ass with a badge...that might be my FIRST complaint. If I were your friend, the neighbor, Id be harrassing the city over it too, as well as all the other neighbors. Stay on em! This is what we pay taxes for???? No, of course not. Im across the street from city owned property that is nothing but trees. Problem is, half of them are dead, and they drop lots of branches. They send out mowers to mow it, but they wont pay for the trash and debris to be picked up and removed....the mowers just mow all around it. So, I threw a fit when I moved in last year and saw that. I didnt wait for them to fix it. I went over there and cut down many dead trees, and begin picking up trash and getting it to the curb. I called them out and told them there is trash on their property that needs to be removed...sick of looking at it. They came out eventually, and eventually they brought me trash cans. Well, same mower crew, same work, and another year, and of course, the battle is on again. But Im winning. Now the neighbors are helping me, and our few blocks are looking so much cleaner! *Its time these _______ do their jobs, instead of sitting in their nice cool offices collecting paychecks for nothing and pet projects working against the people!
Do some research to find out who owns the property. That cop watching over it is highly suspicious… possibly someone engaging in illegal activities himself over sheriff sales or something else. Doubt anyone called. Unfortunately it was posted… When a cop approaches me I say nothing as they just want you to incriminate yourself.
Don't act like your some special good guy cop, your all part of the same corrupt club,. How many bad cops did you bust n put in jail, private??

Pigs will be

and if i can ad to that now that the house is visible the owner wont hopefully have squatters or brackins and that sign now also visible.
@@Rpm6971 Well said. He does (the cop) needs to be reported.

Sad that certain cops could careless about the condition of their communities and are unable to realize the low morale of the residents around these derelict places. We appreciate people like yourself who go out of their way to make our lives and neighbourhoods better places.

Very suspect.
I was just getting ready to say just that. There’s $$ in there
That makes sense. I was thinking that Mr. Fife was trying to buy the house at a lower price because of the overall appearance...
If our host has a lawyer buddy, that lawyer could get to the bottom of the ownership and maintenance issues in less than an hour.
yycguy: I was about to say much the same thing!
If he cuts the yard, then the city cannot go after the owner & fine them bloodless!
Protecting the neighbors from snakes and what ever else is in there is reason enough for cutting that down and glad you did! 👍🏻Cop should have been more appreciative!
Also rats and other pest animals but who knew cutting tall grass also attracts pigs.
Thank you for helping others out without expecting anything in return. Blessings to you, your business and your family.
He only did it for views on TH-cam. You can't be that dumb not to know that.
to be honest he still gets payed well when doing it for free depending on how many views the video gets and how many people were watching the ads during the video.
i was looking this up the other day, and apparently a youtuber earns 5 cents per view, so long as the youtuber is averaging over 1,000 views per video and getting youtube adsense.
so if they make millions of views on one video, they can make a pretty good sum of $ on that videos views, but they can only do this so often because only some videos get this many views, so don't quit your day job just yet lol.
now if they were also an influential youtuber who did commentary kind of content talking about something people could be interested in listening to and were influential enough to gain more attention to each and every video, they could make a shit load per video if they consistently get millions of views per video.
but most can't do this, so they typically choose to build their following and only offering their services for free once per week or month, if they can afford to do so, i'm thinking of maybe getting my brother into doing something like this for his tile setting company, if he had a good following and just stuck with the work and didn't get into any politics, he could not only get more customer's for his business, but he could make a little extra on the side with the youtube channel.

interesting, your comment was actually hidden from me so i never saw your comment.
but if this is along the lines of what you said, then yes i would be agreeing with you, again i still can't see your other comment, youtube likes to hide comments for whatever reason because youtube is stupid that way sometimes.
i mean he's still a nice person for doing this for sure, it's just it's not all out of pure generosity is what i'm saying, another example was a tv show that was on tv roughly 15 years ago, the show was all about building houses for people in need for free, for people who worked but fell on hard times and needed help, well they had this crew who would build houses for these people to live within, and the reason why this show was able to afford this in the first place was they were funded by the views and the ads shown on tv.
so it was still a good and generous thing to do for these people, but they made well over the enough money doing this show by the ratings and the ads playing on the videos so they could afford it very well each and every time no problem, i wish i could remember the name of the show, but it was too long ago.
but it is a good business model for charity because everything is suddenly more affordable doing it this way.
i wonder if they need to do something like this for free clinics for people and just make a youtube channel out of this deal, the people getting the help they need might have to consent to the video filming them maybe blur out their faces and voices somewhat, but i could see this helping the funding for free hospital clinics as well and allow some better coverage for people, it's too bad to many hospitals care more about money than the people they treat to much businesses are only motivated by money to the extent where they are viewed by regular people as evil, i know a lot of people who don't trust doctors for this very reason, so they will stay away from them because the vast majority only care about money and will do things to keep people sick or do things that require more visits which makes the doctors and hospitals more money, it's really creepy for a business that is all about saving lives and doing no harm.
anyway, sorry this was a little long.
@user-tp5yb4hr4w wow you tube's playing games huh.

If you got hurt while trespassing who would be at fault. Certainly not the home owner.
@@jeffsmith5561 It's not outside the realm of possibility that this cop knows that the city is about to fine the property owner and he doesn't want the city to lose that money. Here's my question. Who was so put off by this guy mowing a lawn that they called a cop to come and stop him.?? One would think that the neighbors would appreciate the effort to keep their street looking good.

Wow, that's really aggravating. Like somebody said below, no good deed goes unpunished. However, those of us with both common sense and compassion realize that you were doing something really good and decent and people like you should be applauded!
Thank you for helping the community we need more people like you in this world ❤
Keep doing this man. I gotta tell you, watching you take care of some stranger's lawn, realy makes me want to help out too. Inspirational! Don'r let a bad event bring ya down.
I pray you let this go and don’t let it affect your shinning spirit and soul. They are tests in our daily lives and they try to change our path in life. You did wonderful for what you can do.
@@TheDude68305no need to get nasty. The person was only trying to help out and you act this way, goodness that's the same attitude as the police officer. Like it was said, shame you can't do a good deed for someone, and yet I keep hearing about how we should help one another and show love towards one another and when we do we get stepped on ,sin had definitely taken it's toll on us.

Lawyer.
They cannot foreclose that quickly.
@@chrisbudesa Chris, so true. But my wife, bless her soul, is kind of a meek Latina with pronounced Spanish-English speech, and gullible for all gringo legal lingo crap. Thank you for your service don't let him discourage you great good deed you've done. You did it for the right reason thank you
Thank you for all you do! I hope the owners reach out to you and thank you too. You could look up the landowners on your local tax record if you want to go to the trouble and get permission to finish it. I'm sure they wouldn't tell you no. Keep doing what you're doing!
The world needs less cops like that. Keep doing kind deeds sir and don't let negative people get to you.
We the people should ring in to the police station and complain about this officer yes it says no trespassing but you are doing the community you live in a great service this is unbelievable 👏 thank you for sharing from Maureen in New Zealand 🙌 😇 ❤❤
Another fine example of a cop putting his life on the line, forging toward harm's way to bravely protect the community.
You did a great job - God bless you for your BIG heart of gold!💯
Well done copper !!thats the way to keep a good relationship with the neighbors and community jeez he could have just driven by!! As for doing everything by the book thats a first !!!
How to make any situation worse. Call a cop. No good deed goes unpunished.

Great neighborhood service , keep doing what you do , God is Good
I'm with you. Some times you can't do a good deed. There are good cops out there and then there are jackasses. This cop was the latter. I'm a retired police officer. Thank you for doing good.
Thank you for doing what you do to help the community
That's so sad I would have loved to see the outcome of the yard, we all know there are rules but some of them need to be broken for a good cause please keep up the good work.
If there isn't any no
If there ain't any no truspassing signs than that cop don't have a leg to stand on period
Wow.....that's a shame that there are people who DON'T want you to do anything to help your neighbors and community. I think it's awesome that you go out and do this to just be a light in the world and your community. I HOPE you don't let this discourage you but please look out for those signs🤨 in the future. You're an awesome human being!! 😊
It’s Officers like this that need to be reprimanded through the loss of their job. If this 1 example of cancer is allowed (and I’m certain it’s not) within the Police Department, all public respect will be lost for the rest of the excellent Officers who serve us so well. Thanks for the story, hopefully this incident will get reported to the Chief of Police so it can be addressed accordingly. BTW - thanks for the great deed cleaning up the area for all in that area to enjoy! As citizens we should all support the good deeds of others to make this world a better place.

It's probably a good idea to check with the city or the town,I hate it when politics get in the way of people helping people. God bless you for your efforts and don't be discouraged by this unfortunate incident.
Not politics. Corruption maybe.
Your kindness is appreciated. Continue to be a thoughtful human being 😊
That cop must of had nothing else to do except make his ego feel powerful over your "stress passing" (LOL) oops I mean "trespassing good grief. I use to be married to a cop and ummm I observed many of them over the years and some have very "huge ego's". He could have looked the other way and tried to go catch some bad guys oh that might have been too much work for him. LOLOL You did the proper thing and rose above the situation and you are a gentleman. Don't look back just keep going forward and chalk that incident up to doing a great job and move on. God Bless you and your work.
I'm an almost 70 year old widow & boy I'll tell you, if I had that mower for a couple of hours it would be a blessing!
Weeds in my yard are anywhere from 2-6 feet tall. I have no mower of any kind so most days I go out with a weed whip & hand clippers & try to beat down what I can.
The city has been after me to clean it up, so I do what I can.
Regardless of that cop's attitude, know that you are a blessing and a bright light!
If the owner will not be happy you can bet the neighbors will! It looks like a nice area. Many city ordenances require that the property be kept up. Keep up the good work and God Bless You.
So I will tell you Thank YOu....and what you do counts!
Thank you for what you do life will reward you. This cop will also be caught up with I hope even pray he does. Thanks again.
There is a Barney is in every police department. I wouldn’t let this affect any future jobs. Just make there is not a “no trespassing” sign. Just keep on keeping on!
So true, always one and usually the talk of the dept. Sad
I think that officer either wants to keep the other departments of the city in business so the can impose fines on the owners or he wants or knows someone that wants to buy that property and wants it left in bad shape. Whatever the case is don"t let one bad apple bring you down. Keep up the great work you are doing for the community.
no cop was doing his job....... hes still trespassing. doesn t know the owners. didnt get permission.
You have a big heart and everybody can see that please keep doing the wonderful work that you do. You’ll have to realise that you are Tress passing, but your heart as I said is in it. Go to bless you you are a wonderful person❤
God bless you for doing a good deed, and the lord will bless you.
Louisiana appreciates people who clean up blighted properties. They even encourage squatters who do and grants them color if title after a period of time.
I came across your channel by chance and just subscribed. I like your attitude, i was sad to hear about the end the officer is not a good example of how to be a cop. I am from the uk, you are helping others in time of troubles. The effort you give helps preserve the community attitude. But i can not say the same for that cop, the only thing i can say about him is i hope he does not fail the community when he is needed in a real life situation. Stay safe and keep on mowimg dude cheers.
That’s the cause of a lot of anti-police feelings…my city is full of those types!
Amen!!
What you did was from the goodness of your heart to help the house 🏠 and the community, but a smart cop that is not doing nothing come and kick you out, it made no sense but that is the police always on people business but never when there is a person destroying or robbing, GOD BLESS AND GREAT JOB.
If you talk to the police chief or the city council please do an update on this video. Thanks for what you do. 👍
It's very sweet to see people help out the city and communities, we need alot more people to do this kind of thing, and this guy is doing a fantastic job, the only problem I have is that his mower needs new blades for sure and if your going to moe grass or anything that looks like this, I highly recommend and suggest that you get what is called gator blades, they are designed and made for this type of job, however the other type of blade is called residential!!
GREAT JOB. BE BLESSED AND DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED.❤

If I were him, I'd never do anything for anybody ever again. Screw it. As I said, no good deed goes unpunished. Especially if the neighbors are going to call the cops on him. The hell with them all.
@@Fisherman-l6k That was my take - one of the neighbors called the cops.
If I were that cop, I'd think long and hard about the times we are going into....do they not want ANYONE left to stand with them if the shit hits the fan in the world? I will tell you one thing...people with power tripping asshole attitudes will be the first to be lost in the woods forever.
No good deed goes unpunished! Thanks for your efforts sir!
That's good some one cares around the houses and trying to help out the neighborhood.
