Mulligatawny is a soup whose name literally means “pepper water” in the Tamil language of southern India. Kissel- fruit soup can be consumed hot, warm, or cold. In metric, milli= thousandth, centi = hundredth, and deci = tenth. Also, deka = ten, hecta= hundred, kilo= thousand.

It's easy to pronounce, it's said how it looks, mully-gah-tawny, sounds welsh to me, but it's indeed an indian dish, apparently the name translates to "pepper-water" cos it's a spicy soup normally...
They are part of NATO. I guess that has something to do with it. It also allows them to use ration packs as Emergency Relief aid to other countries easily.
There are two "offical" NATO languages, English and French, there is a NATO Stanag (Standard Nato Agreement) saying that these languages must be used for instructions etc to reduce problems when operating with multinational NATO forces that do not have English or French as their mother tongues.

These rations are great! Anything for cold weather is the best! As usual great review, much more regular than Steve1989 and that's not a poop joke.
