I still stand by my theory of Tomb of Nazarick being teleported hundreds of years after the first players were teleported was because it took that much time to download/transfer the entire Tomb of Nazaricks worth of data.

Game data are stored in a single system, their transfer rate is neglible since the one running Yggdrasil and New World are the same entity.

Additionally, there were tidbits of season 2 that were shown. The Cocytus trial, Sebas' alley fight, and Jaldabaoth.
Make sure they be remembered so when the slaughter have begun, we can forget them immediately.
In the Light novels, there are actually a number of battlesuits in Nazarik, belonging to some of the other guild members that were left behind when they stopped playing. Ainz speculates that they should try to find someone to pilot them so they can practice fighting against battlesuits, however they are so customizable that fighting against the suits they have might be completely different than fighting the red suit.
Having Climb around Ainz could have him pilot one of those suits.

Ainz Should use a Power Suit for Extra Battle Time And leave when it dosent work anymore LVL 80 is already High for most Encounters thus he can Hide who he is..
An other reason Azuth threw out there Rufus' name is because his suit can be used by anyone and it's extremely powerful for NW standards, beyond realm of heroes and just shy of god-kin.
As he's reluctant to join the Theocracy in their fight against the Sorcerer Kingdom, Azuth wouldnt put it past them to assassinate him and secure the powered suit. He knows he isnt special, the suit is.
Azuth knowing Rufus existence means he's associated with someone thats privy to that information, a mysterious and powerful backer of sorts. That way he might be left alone.
A question is whether Azuth is aware of just how disposable he is. PDL had mused of disposing him and giving the suit to another more useful character if one does show up.
Who/what is Rufus?

I feel like the suits were shelved prematurely. They seem like a great way to improve the capabilities of of low level maids and the like. Load them up with spells that you wouldn't normally have readied/bothered learning and go to town using them as minor libraries. Or get a hand full of them and coordinate them like power rangers. Sure you won't be able to fight on the same level as some specialists, but they give you potential flexibility that would be hard to match outside of being a doppelganger. Niche spells seem like the best thing to put in them. Or just use it for transportation loading it up with things like gate and teleport and the like and just step out of it and armor up before actually heading into a raid.
You seem to forget that the goal of the maids are to be like their names, Maids. And these guild members wanted that specific cliché when they were making them and I think it was specifically for players too so no, they could not make it fit them. Either way, it removes their gap moe or whatever their cliché of maids are and hiding the beauty of even the battle maids if they are equipped.
To be fair, a good pair of boobs is a greater distraction to players than an army of mech powerarmors.
@@icouldntthinkofagoodname7216 I was using the maids as an example option not, admittedly the best one, but it would/could provide them with more functionality and use than just standing there. Maybe it's just my experience with DND 3.5, but I look at those suits and think "yeah there's gotta be room for breaking these, Maybe a build that's basically an HP tank and load up the suit with off class buffs or utility spells or maybe even some blasting depending on the base class/race."
Like I said I think they were dismissed too easily not that having an army of zaku maids would be the best end goal for them.

You forgot to mention that the power suit was part of The fall of Valkyria which also how CZ- delta came into the game.
I think it is a pertinent piece of information.
These suits, they overwrite your stats so one idea to make a strong build is to spec themselves into every stat that the suits don’t get effected by the suit you could reach beyond normal limits.
That could work maybe
It would depend on the power of the suit tho
pretty sure that you cant use your own skills while the suit is equiped.

@@stopdeplommoninmeikweetdat9670 I feel like there has to be some way whether you're in alchemy build or blacksmith build where you would be able to theoretically overwrite the limits of the suit itself just to push it to a level 100 cap and then coincide the stats of that with your actual level 100 character build because it says that you can add on 10 to your stats I would assume that you should be able to eventually if you had a specialized enough build in alchemy and or blacksmith do the same thing to then Clash change your Alchemy blacksmith build with the suits given functions once you achieve level 100 with a suit to combine that with your actual skill set to then boost it further and have the suit uses an exoskeleton like Albedo's armor

The moment I heard beast tamer, I immediately knew that this guy was meant to fall at the hands of Aura who is also a much more accomplished beast tamer. At least I hope so. At the very least though I hope to see or at least read about Demiurge putting the hurt on cocky enemies since we rarely get to see him fight

Crazy when you read the novels and you pick up in the anime that he mentions being able to out fly the sorcerer king and knowing that he could was a hint later on to where he got the flight suit.
Gotta give azuth credit I'm pretty it said that albedos punch nearly ruptured the suit but he still kept fighting which is admirable. Despite looking unbearably snob dude is still a hero.

Each branch of the government of the slain theocracy (a scripture) is modeled after one of the 6 original PC.
(Who, the new world people thought they were gods)
The black scripture is modeled after the undead PC, the last one of the PCs to live (because the rest died from age)
I love this series it's really the best isekai in my opinion.
People usually say rezero,overlord and mushuku tensei as the top 3 with no particular order.

We know that the group of Adventurers that teleported out of the Kingdom, are still out there and will likely come after Ainz in Season 5.
Highly unlikely, since they teleported out of the Kingdom to *avoid* encountering Ainz (and Nazarick).
Also, it's very unlikely that they'll still remain together as a party, considering what they did to their leader.

1. 2 of their members got one shot by Demiurge (as Yaldabaoth) back in season 2
And
2. By this point in the story, almost everyone knew of what happened in the Holy Kingdom.
That would cement the idea in their heads that "hey, maybe we shouldn't go up against the guy who managed to do that thing we were unable to do, huh?"
@@maddogandrew if they go up against him they definetly won't go alone that's for sure. but knowing evileye's past has a member of the 13 hero and lakyus' desire to fight ainz becaus of the kingdom i wouldn't put it past them to join up a larger group with the same goal even if they have to take on a support role since most of them aren't powerfull enough to go against the big fish directly.

I am really glad I have found your channel. As an anime only watcher, I am quite curious about what I might have missed from the story as a whole.
I used to watch another guy but he kept spoiling stuff from the novel about future happenings and characters way too much without warning.
But now, I can finally relax and watch videos without worrying or without my mouse on the pause button.
It would be cool if you made videos on certain characters and perhaps countries in Overlord that the anime never really touched on but the novel dove into a lot more? First comes to mind for me is Zesshi and the Slane Theocracy as well as the Council State where the PDL resides in 🤔 just a suggestion

Just one fact I'll send your way is that she's the second strongest character from the new world that doesn't come from Nazarick or Yggdrasil in general and her level according to the light novel is 88 as shown in an illustration included in the last volume revealing her stats
I still think the last boss is going to be the Alliance as that's where the dragon lord exists. I think the second to last country that will fall is the Slane Theocracy. I always thought the Slane Theocracy would be the final foe until I learned that the PDL didn't reside in the Slane Theocracy. I think there might be more than 4 volumes left. The remaining counties Ainz has to fight are the Alliance, the Theocracy and the country of elves. The alliance and the theocracy may take up 2 volumes each and the elves just 1 volume.
Lakyus got the blessing her team was willing to force her to bail with them or else there is no doubt Lakyus would wind up dead before Ainz could see her fully unleash the capabilities of the Black Blade she carries. I do however can expect a fight between Lakyus and Momonga just for kicks one day as Ainz's attempt to see how much Lakyus fighting at her fullest because I also want to see that just for once a powerhouse of the current world is NOT killed off instantly. It's too bad the theory of Lakyus and Azuth sharing what I shall now call "The Great Treasures of Yggdrasill" is kind of disproven since it was Dragon Lord Aganeia who had given Azuth the suit that he had in storage after it was left behind. This leaves the origins of Lakyus's black blade a mystery though it could still be another Great Treasure of Yggdrasill for all we know.
These countries went over in the intermission and the part of a secret undead member among the Slane Theocracy are honestly things that are not only irrelevant to the Fall of Re-Estize but also drops in revelations and world building that doesn't become important until much later and it being covered at that volume doesn't affect anything. In fact, the whole Slane Theocracy housing an undead among their ranks not being blurted out here will only fuel the extra element of surprise for later when that DOES become relevant. Imagine the Sorcerer Kingdom eventually initiating an onslaught towards the Slane Theocracy where this part about Rufus is uncovered and is unveiled to the Theocracy's populace. This would be heresy and outright blasphemy amongst the beliefs upheld by the Theocracy and it would defame them publicly. Course all of that will be within the later volumes that aren't officially available in Bookwalker and Amazon so as of now it's unknown territory.

Cometh the lost episode, and good insight on the black scripture members although with each of their specialties, I can already see a floor guardian counterpart, so how do they scale against a floor guardian or is the assumption from the shalltear situation that only the godkin could have at best held back shalltear because they were just cannon fodder compared to lvl 100s
Even the strongest godkind get destroyed By Shalltear in a matter of minute so yeah other than Pld anyone dosen't amount much

1 - Will you ever do Character videos on the Pleiades? I'd really love to see a series of videos on them.
2 - When it comes to the waifu Overlord sweatshirts you sell as merch, such as the Succubae one, would you ever consider putting the waifu silhouette (and the lettering beneath it) on the back of the sweatshirt, and a small version of your channel logo (the one that looks like the overlord crest) on the front of it; perhaps over the heart, or the adjacent side? Just having this type of format as an option when it comes to buying a sweatshirt will instantly guarentee my purchase of one.
(Though I'll buy 2 if you ever come out with a Lupusregina design. As Albedo is a must have, and Lupus is best girl).

95% stayed...and yet, the city looked so empty when the Guardians were coming through.
Sorry if I sound like a sadist, but one thing that bothered me about this season was the lack of a massacre and chaos in the city. We hear all about the deaths of people, yet everything happens off-screen. I just find that lazy and cheap. I get seeing humans massacred might be uncomfortable for some people, but I just find only seeing the aftermath of all that so boring, and a bit hypocritical. We get to see Carne Village get destroyed in the first season, but nothing else? Oh, I guess because Ainz played the hero in that situation, it was fine, but now that HE is the conqueror, showing people being slaughtered is a BAD thing now!
Um... that part makes perfect sense.
When they arrive, all the ones that wanted to flee had gone and the rest were hiding in their (usually boarded up) homes. They are hoping for this to just blow over, drawing no attention to themselves. They know the army has been wiped.
So nobody out in the streets is legit expected.
As for why no scenes of screaming and slaughter, Mare specifically made the point about how to use amgic to do the mass killing in a way that would not alert the humans in other sections. Her job was to kill "everyone" and leaving even a single one to get away was not an option for her. You cannot guarentee that if people are running everywhere over such a huge area. She is using largescale sound barriers and targeted destruction, to destroy the capital one section at a time, without the other sections even noticing until it is their turn.
There being no chaos is a sign of brutal efficiency in line with the expressed plan, hardly an inconsistancy. Cocytus was the only other one to do something to the civilians as he walked down the streets, albeit unintentionally, because of his high-level frost aura. and that instantly froze any civilians in the houses near him so again no noise or screams.
I agree they could have shown more of the army being destroyed by his undead army, but there was little point. In terms of importance or relevance it is tiny in the grand scheme of things. The outcome is a 100% pre-decided quick rofl-stomp with no surviviers, and Ainz wasn't even present for the fight because pretty much anything else would be a better use of his time than watch.
What other slaughter are they supposed to show? They skimped showing mutilated corpses and just showed the destroyed villages and towns' infrastructure in the brief flashback to Mare's large-scale destruction "practice" on the way, but thats like one second of anime flashback.

I know it's redundant to talk about cut material at this point, but I feel like it was a shame that the little mention of Rufus was left out, I would have liked to see the members of the Black Scripture get mad and look threatening, because let's be honest, surely we will never see them "threatening" at all in the future.

I'm assuming he has the stat sheet of the black scripture members. So perhaps the highest level of black scripture is around 80.

I'm currently reading the online version, up to volume 8 chapter 58. It's such a good read and the anime has done the novels proud. Great video as always I just wise the seasons had more episodes as there's so much they have to miss out but guess cant have everything
No they haven't, the entire thing is censored so heavily that it actually some debate if Ainz is a bad guy. It's pretty clear from the novels that he and everyone with him are bad bad people.

As a hardcore D&D fan, I decided to do a little "math" using D&D 3.5 mechanics as a bassis just to get a better idea of how powerfull all the characters are in relation to each other. I know there's already a "how powerful is X character vidio", but I think it would be fun to throw in my 0,02$ using the mechanics Overlord is based on.
For Example: 1 level in Yggdrasil = 0.3 levels in D&D 3.5
My Calculation: Fluder is level 40 and can cast up to 6th-tier magic. In D&D 3.5, the minimum level requierd for a wizard to cast 6th-level spells is 12 {12/40 = 0.3}.
I wante to do some D&D 3.5 builds of "Ainze" and the "Floor Guardianse".
