This is somewhat random, but I've been wanting to compile all of my favorite animations from the past year (and a little before), for a while now. I don't expect a lot of views or anything like that. This is just for fun :D
It's all out of order, too. Old and new animations are mixed together, so it doesn't make much sense. But, I like seeing all of my favorite animations in one video 😄
You've come a long way, Fulonimation. The first video of yours that I watched was "Happy Fall! Toothless and Light Fury Animation". I've subscribed and admired your talent and work since then.

I haven’t been here for that long (found out from a friend who’s even here also lol) but wow. I I think it’s safe to say that you’ve done a lot of awesome things. Have of this stuff was almost nostalgic and I’ve never even seen it before! Keep it up!

@@fulonimationstudios2408 I am so impressed and I dream of one day creating things like this. Sadly I have an animation project I’ve wanted for months now but I just can’t find a software that will animate decently on the devices I own other than one pixel app which very much limits my style

WOW! I liked it very much! Especially, when Toothless turned invisible with his lightning. You know, the more you practice, the more you'll be able to be like DreamWork's 3-D animations (or Disney).

Thank you! I'm not really familiar with Spyro (I know OF him, just not a lot about him). I'm glad I've inspired you! 2D animation is my favorite; that's why I give my 3D models toon textures, so I get the best of both worlds :D

This is an awesome animation and all, but I just wanna say, that maybe instead of the wings going up and down, It could be like, folding a little while it flies like a birds wings? That would make it a bit more realistic when it’s flying. Maybe try it out? :)

I love the glowing patterns there so intricket and well made also with how good you are at animating the httyd nightwing night ligths and lightfury models you could easily be mistaken for a 3D modler and animator that worked on the movies!

With ur HDRI in the first clip and others it's seen moving. Can you do a video on how to do that? Animated HDRIS are so nice. I have an idea on how u did it but I'm probably wrong

How long has it took you to master blender? I’m learning now but I’m curious. How long did it take you to make a model and animation???
I’d say it took me about a year to learn the ins and outs of CG. But, there’s so much to learn, I’m always figuring out new things.
It’s taken me about 3 years of CG to get to where I am now. And before that I made 2D animations, which was good to gain experience.
I still don't understand how to do uv and retopology with multiresolution for drawing textures.
The first thing to do before you add the multiresolution modifier, is to duplicate the object. That way you’ll have a copy (essentially a pre-made retop) to use as the retopologized version. And that copy is what you need to UV Unwrap, in order to texture paint.
I hope that makes sense.

Unfortunately, the song isn’t currently available publicly. I know the composer, so that’s why I have access to it. But maybe in the future it will be free to the public! 👍

And I’m also about to start the rigging process in the “feathered dragon” tutorials, which is mainly for intermediate users.

This is really good. I have a question tho, how hard is it to do all of these. Im going to college for it and i want your advice.
Well, you need to be creative and patient. I think those are the most important things.
It’s taken me 3 years to get to where I am now. But I’m self-taught; I didn’t go to college for it.
So if you’re going to college, that’s awesome! You’ll probably learn much faster than I did 😄
It’s not so hard as it is time consuming. Anyone can learn it, but you need to have patience and preserve through. That’s really all the advice I have.
Oh and, don’t forget to have fun!
