Yet they’ve made it appear like that was her arrival at rooks rest in this video.
I will be very disappointed if HBO won't show fire vs fire scene between dragons in the show. And it is realistic; Sunfyre used fire as a 'shield' from Meleys' flames. If he didn't do that, both he and Aegon would end up as crispy mcnuggets in a matter of minutes.

Really well done, Vhagar ripping Meleys head off is a great idea I hope they use in the show since her head comes off anyway when it’s paraded around King’s Landing. So makes sense that she loses it in dragon on dragon combat
The way Meleys snaps at and burns aegon @ 3:31 is so good! If I was aegon there I would be PETRIFIED she is like the T. rex from Jurassic park if it had a flamethrower
The sequence when Vhagar touched the ground and flew back into the air is exactly like the shot that is shown in the trailer. Kudos to you for the attention to details. Phenomenal work. I hope they show this particular sequence just like this in the show.
This is so GOOD. Its so sick how you've given them more birdlike movements and behavior. The way they thrust their heads like they have a beak, the way Vhagar rips Meleys' wing off the same way raptors today catch and eat their prey. Jace flew Vermax to battle in the Gullet, Baela flew Moondancer against Aegon, and Lucerys defended himself on Arrax. This video shows a more interesting side to Aemond betraying Aegon, it keeps you guessing did he plan for Aegon to get hurt or was he just collateral, i can't even decide. The show just made it blatant.
I prefer the subtly of it, even in the books I think its pretty obvious that Aemond wasnt as loyal of a brother as Daeron. However I feel like he wasnt ever gonna try to hurt Aegon but since Aegon went forward to challenge Rhaenys, Aemond was more than happy for Aegon/Sunfyre to face the worst of Rhaenys/Meleys' attacks while him and Vhagar not only got the glory of the kill but also in a safer way.

The scene in which Meleys tries to kill aegon, but Sunfyre protects him 😭😭
Man, the scene where Meleys crashes the coronation would have been better if Sunfyre had intervened to protect his rider and there was a tense standoff before Rhaenys decided to book it. It would have made more sense in concept, and would have been great foreshadowing for Sunfyre and Meleys' eventual clash.

“Nine days after Lord Staunton dispatched his plea for help, the sound of leathern wings was heard across the sea, and the dragon Meleys appeared above Rook's Rest. The Red Queen, she was called, for the scarlet scales that covered her. The membranes of her wings were pink, her crest, horns, and claws bright as copper. And on her back, in steel and copper armor that flashed in the sun, rode Rhaenys Targaryen, the Queen Who Never Was”

@@marlyqxi2615 Not entirely true. It is both a territorial display and courtship ritual. DAMMMN this has to be my favourite so far!!! The way some of these shots line up with the trailer is so well executed
Field of fire was out of this world good. Like we couldn’t have asked for anything better. But this rooks rest is definitely my favorite!!! The movements, the fighting patterns, just everything on point per usual
Probably the exact leaked scene animated
@@DestroToCreate I haven’t heard about any leaks for S2 tho
@@DestroToCreate I don’t think so. In the first shot of Meleys in the trailer you can already see the fields of Rooks rest burning in the background. Meleys scales are also blackened due to the soot and smoke. In the shots of Meleys you can also see the ocean beneath her. The same ocean is present in the shot of Vhagar. This means the battle takes place over the bay. Yet we know the battle finishes above the army and forest as they’re able to recover Meleys head. We also see Meleys blasting Vhagar and Aemond which isn’t present in this video.
In shorter words… it looks very realistic but it isn’t. Meleys scene in the trailer is after burning rooks rest. Yet they’ve made it appear like that was her arrival at rooks rest in this video.
The dragons clawing and grappling each other with their feet is such a good detail. Hopefully the shows adapt that kind of combat.

Probably not lol
Yup they did!
OH! And the fire vs fire moment between Sunfyre and Meleys 💯👌
do you think they’ll actually do it ?? got didn’t do it in the long night & its not overlap realistic but it would be badass to see
I will be very disappointed if HBO won't show fire vs fire scene between dragons in the show. And it is realistic; Sunfyre used fire as a 'shield' from Meleys' flames. If he didn't do that, both he and Aegon would end up as crispy mcnuggets in a matter of minutes.

I just got done watching the show. I must admit. I did like some of the bits of it, but I think this fight was a lot better. Yours is kind of more faithful to the books. Aemond in the books would not try to kill his brother because they actually loved each other in the books.
In the books , Aemond did nuke both Sunfyre and Meleys , thats how Aegon got injured , some people even suspected that Aemond tried to kill his brother.
Dude, I just read the book, and Aemond had little love for his brother 😂
@@AmusedCoffee-ym3gb Well I should’ve said Aegon ii had more love for his brother he did not bully him. In fact there relationship is akin to Viserys/Daemon.
There were rumors he tried to kill him in the book too...
There was speculation that he tried killing him the book as well.

It's wild how the greens perfectly executed an ambush on Meleys and still nearly lost Aegon and Sunfyre for good. They had the numbers and still got cooked lmao
Meleys was much bigger than Sunfyre and faster than Vhagar
Rhaenys kamikazed Sunfyre & Aegon, knowing she had little chance against Vhagar & Aemond. She knew she was going to die.
Almost as amazing as the blacks jobbing a 13 to 4 lead in dragons
@@dripfire2396 It's more like 8 to 4. For the blacks you have Syrax, Caraxes, Meleys, Seasmoke, Vermithor, Sheepstealer, Silverwing, and the Cannibal. Out of those, two turned sides and joined the Greens. The rest were young dragons, barely able to ride to battle. Greens had Vhagar, Sunfyre, Tessarion, and Dreamfyre.
This is not to say the Blacks didn't squander the dragons they had, cause they did. But counting dragons like Tyraxes and Morning as actual combatant dragons seems unfair to me.
@@MissMillsonxx Moondancer, Arrax, Vermax and Tyraxes all participated in some measure within the Dance.
Tyraxes accompanied Joffrey to the Vale in fulfilling Jace’s pact with Lady Arryn to guard it, and was capable of being mounted as Joffrey intended to defend the DragonPit on him. Jace flew Vermax to battle in the Gullet, Baela flew Moondancer against Aegon, and Lucerys defended himself on Arrax. However Mourning and Stormcloud I can concede
Also the defection of Hugh and Ulf is only emphasising how much they threw their lead.
