That bad boy was a beast of a fish. At 27 seconds I had to rewind and do a double take of the pump for the price of gas, then check how old this video was.

To catch sheepshead you got to “feel the vibration” of him munching 🦷 Spot tail is my favorite. Only way I can describe is it’s like hooking onto a freight train 🚂

Good stuff. Catch a lot of sheepshead in Florida. We put a bank sinker on the end of the line and put the hook above it. That way you feel the bite better. Sometimes sheepshead simply take you bait and crush it in their mouths making feeling the bite tough. Keep up the videos. Enjoying them.

Mustad makes a bronze hook that is model number 9174. Those things are completely indestructible despite their small size. #2 or #4 are good sizes to use. Keep it up 🎣🎸😆 -g

To be honest, next to Flounder, trout and redfish...sheepshead are some of the best tasting smaller game. Beautiful white meat and no fishy taste. Look for these sheepshead around pilings where barnacles are...they chip away at these structures with their teeth. Sheep heads are distinctive by their convict strips and goat teeth. The bigger ones can be fileted and are some of the best tasting fish. Fun to catch and a great tasting fish. 👍❤️😊
