I like the friendly banter between both of you. Some people are taking it too serious when its just really light-hearted fun. We need to laugh more. Your tours are beautiful. I enjoy seeing the same homes year to year because the homeowners are so creative. They find new ways to change it up or use the same decor but in different rooms. We don't need to buy more. I like how you and your mom work together and swap things. You channel is my very favorite. I check everyday if you post anything. I also go back and rewatch the same tours over and over. I try to watch other channels, but your homes have the perfect balance of not to much but enough beautiful old and new vintage finds collected and dispalyed in a charming way.

I usually wait months to take down my decorations. For some random reason, I started taking my Christmas decorations down on Christmas DAY. SHOCKER, NO REALLY. MY TREE could stay up into February. I REALLy like having everything down and ready for the next holiday.

The more you say it (charcuterie) the worse it gets. I love the idea of a Christmas room BUT what happens when the lights on the trees don't work??? Collecting takes a home from looking "store bought" to beautifully curated and interesting; creative and storied. I'd like to see you do homes with more color. While the neutrals are lovely, it gets to be same old, same old. Just think about adding a house or two with the traditional reds, greens, and golds.

My hubs actually booked a hotel and we came to Rockwall from Gilmer TX on that Saturday of the tours. We got busy around town and visiting my cousin and his wife and totally waited too late to get tickets. You can bet I won’t miss it next year! Although, Matti Vivo helped decorate my cousins house and wow. It was so good.

You are both so sweet, funny, and creative. I have pared down my Christmas decor. Except for the tree, everything must fit in organizers under my bed. No more schlepping up to the attic. We are empty nesters with 7 grands. We need more open space, less stuff.

Happy New Year! A comment about Stephanie’s tree. I had texted her directly after the Christmas tour to ask her how she hung the ornaments and candles. You mentioned those were clip on candles but she said they were hung by fishing line. I know Amazon had Harry Potter candle lights that hung. Can you double check or link where she got the candles?

I still have paper/bags, bows etc on the shelves but I cleared some items since it doubles as my laundry and I still only use bags and tissue paper if I’m honest. But I did wrap all the babies Christmas gifts this year!😜❤️
