Hello mate! Your video was very helpful for troubleshooting my problem, in the end I had a blown 40a compressor fuse under the control module, but even after changing it, car wouldn’t lift off the ground. With your vent and test code I made sure my compressor is ok, it blows at least 10 bar, and I managed to manually pump the front and back. All is good now! Thank you
Hello fellow scott. I have a audi a8 d3. My front it down with solid orange light. On vcds I try to calibration but the front will not move. I'm going to look at the basic settings and see if I can test pump etc.
Hi does thus procedure NEED to be followed up with a calibration as ive gad many issues with calibration and now got everything illuminated which took around 4 months of repetative attempts
Hello. Can this video help me with my suspension on an Audi A6 2012? Rear suspension is complete down on both sides. VCDS says Pressure Accumulator for Level Control: Leak Detected.
Hello, I have Q7 2008 with pneumatics. The right side g289 leveling sensor has been damaged, after replacing I have indications in the measuring blocks channel 4: left wheel front 60mm, right wheel -20 mm, how to calibrate this sensor?
Sounds unlikely that it would have an 80mm difference, are you sure the wiring is OK? If you are then you need to carry out a calibration using vcds. I havent done it myself. But I'm sure you will find the how to videos here
Derek I have set my suspension and got it reset. I drove 80 miles with no issues. When I returned after a week and drove the car the yellow suspension light came on. When I checked VCDS it was telling me code 01780. I lift the car through the central console and lowered it to automatic and light is off the dash. Is this a faulty compressor problem? I also have the engine maagemnt light that comes on for a month and goes off again. It is giving me fault 1025 EGR fault. I have previously replaced this but changed nothing. I have tried to get into security settings with code 12233 but will not allow me. How do I get the code to get into security access in engine module.
The suspension code may be a indicator that your have a bad sensor, or if it was left for a long period it may have been low on one corner and the reading from that sensor would have been out of spec, these cars are known for bags leaking when they are older and if its serious you can run into more issues like the compressor working harder to keep up with the leak and eventually burning it out. As for your EGR, I'm not familiar with the diesels but there is a wealth of info over at forums.ross-tech.com/index.php You might find something helpful there. Another good resource is forum.a8parts.co.uk/index.php Good luck
Hi Derek, I’ve replaced a rear bag and tried re calibrating but half way through opened a door and errors came up . So I came out and logged back into it but it’s now failing to go past ‘WAIT ‘ and onto ‘VALUE’ for me to enter N/S/F height. Also the MMI in the car is not letting me do anything and has illuminated all height settings ( as in lift, allroad, comfort, dynamic ) in grey.tried several times. Is there something I need to do before calibration to get these settings out of the grey ? 2009 model
Is your level sensors showing a change in level if you charge the front and rear axle's like in this video, the other thing i have noticed while messing around with VCDS is sometimes you need to power cycle the ignition to reset things before you can do anything again. as you asked yesterday I assume the car has been switched off since. so Try and charge the axles and see if all four level sensors read properly, then try your calibration again. Good luck
I done exactly the same thing as you, so I'm guessing I was suppose to get the level settings before getting into the car. When opening the door it threw off the scanning now my adaptive air is unilluminated like you said. And I'm also stuck at the 'FAIL' after the WAIT stage. Has anyone managed to work it out yet?
Hi Derek. How are you on VW Touareg V10? I have wipers issues Vcds says rain sensor. But I’ve tried to replace and nothing changes. Does it need to be recoded?
Sorry Billy I am not familiar with that particular model but have a look through the forums.ross-tech.com/ there is a lot of knowledgeable people in there that may be able to help you out.
When you will need to do AAS bleeding process ? My front suspension went higher on comfort mode than usual after lifting the car in a shop - will this procedure be beneficial ?
Sorry for the late reply, I would say no, In my experience you only need to bleed suspension if you are going to work on it, My suspicion would be that something was damaged? check the sensor arms are ok

Can you make a little video to show what's happening?

Hi, do you have any experience with sometimes very stiff air suspension in Cayenne/Q7? How to diagnose it?
Sorry, never experienced that on my cars.

How did you make the file
will a paid for vcds lite do this
Not sure if the litre version will work the same as I only have the full one
Hi its your engine on during the process?
It doesn't have to be but it is advised or have a power supply connected to the car to keep battery voltage high
Can do it on vw phaeton? Thanks
I'm not familiar with the VW cars so unsure, Sorry.
Derek Smith thanks
