Canning HOMEMADE BBQ Sauce!

  • I am making and canning a fantastic bar-b-que sauce recipe that my mother used all my life. It’s sweet, vinegary and just enough spice!
    Single batch
    Cowikee Mills BBQ Sauce
    32 oz ketchup
    1/4 vinegar
    1 TBSP chili powder
    1/2 cup water
    1 Tbsp prepared mustard
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    1 small onion chopped or dehydrated onions (handful)
    1/4 cup sweetener (sugar, Splenda, or honey)
    1 tsp powdered garlic
    simmer for at least 2 hours. Put in pint jars and steam or water bath for 15 minutes
