I took Omeprezole nearly every morning for 8 years. PPIs over time can lead to a potassium and magnesium malabsorption issue. I was having heart palpitations from dangerously low potassium and magnesium. Stopped taking them and now I only take Magnesium theranate and apple cider vinegar in water every morning.
