Thankyou so Much for this tutorial. This was the much needed one. Please upload the video about making the key plan in revit. Which is very easy on auto cad. Detail line doesnt work much. And we lack symbols too in revit.

A useful update to Revit would be the ability to create tables in annotation views, such as creating a table for legends without drawing line by line.

You can always create your own table as a symbol family! Why should software developer make your life easier. You've paid for this, you must struggle and suffer.

it is not dynamic like in Archicad.

This must be the worse part of revit, The fact that you can't use legend components to properly make a window or door legend (you can't tag or dimension some of them). This is not the best workarround for this , i would sugest to use design options or phases for door or window legend.

Seconded. On my projects we typically have a preliminary phase for all of our system legends such as windows, doors and walls.
The big issue with legend components is instance controls can't be changed... such a pain!

Suggest looking into 'Conceptual Massing' tools, lots of tutorials out there on how they work :)
