Glad to hear that this helps. Totally agree with you on the lack of support from Autodesk. I have asked them about this multiple times in yearly Ask me Anything streams and they just does not see a problem in the way that legends work. You can check out other video about how to make legends for doors and windows in similar fashion. th-cam.com/video/EuBdFhS37ZM/w-d-xo.html
It depends, you have to set walls as demolished in new construction Phase. And also set the correct Phase for quantity schedule. Overall it's safe if you follow these steps.
Hey, thanx for the helpful tutorial, I really like those material tags. Did you have to create them from scratch or there's some kind of Revit library from which I could pick them up? Cheers!
Hi, there are some tutorials I made for complex details, for example this: th-cam.com/video/VqPGA06KqSc/w-d-xo.html Is there anything specific you would like to see tutorials for?
@@BIM-Life Hi, while the facade is amazing I love how you create a family for it, however I was more thinking about construction joints details for example, external wall to roof, foundation to ground floor or even etc etc when you create a revit callout for the 2d detail and try make a 3D one it’s not looking good unless you do more work on it with adding components or create masses.
Hi, make these models in new phase (let's call it legends) before any other phase and for elements in thant phase set "phase demolished" to next phase (in standard case "existing")
Such an annoying issue that you'd think would be a main focus! Thank you for this idea, going to save me a lot of time!

just wow!!!!! no time to implement now, but will do it after I submit my deliverables first.
great sense of humor on this guy😂
You explain quickly! thanks!
omg how annoying , how is possible that they left the tool so incomplete. And why does dimension do work with windows and doors?
This is great thanks! I have one question, will this procedure going to add up to the total quantity of the wall? Thanks

You can load material Tag from Autodesk Cloud library if I remember correctly!
Can you create videos on complex 3D details please ? Or is it better to create it using other software such as Sketchup/Rhino.

How does this work when it comes to model coordination with other discipline? Do we delete this phase legend models floating around the model?

Hello. Good lesson. Thank you. How to put a mark on the Insulating membrane? She has thickness = 0
Hi, that's one flaw of this method. The membrane layer has to be written as Text Note.
JUST GREAT, THANK YOU
Glad you liked it!
wth??? i dug a gold here!!!
