Gr8 way of doing it. Thank you for taking the time to add your grocery list for this project. You went thru it pretty quick but with the list I can connect the dots. Thanks for posting and Happy Trails. Referred here by your comment at "Why Not RV" Ep. 5
@@justinzawistowski617 I used to have a wiring diagram on how to do it but it's been a while and I'm not sure what happened to it. I know that the Relay is wired in the middle of the outlets. I'd find the part in the description and Google how to wire that part. It's not really hard to do but I can't remember exactly.
@@FadeToBlackLLC Good deal. I’ve been googling and just not found the right diagram or at least one that I understand. Just confirming, when the inverter is on, the 2nd outlet for the charger is then shut off through the relay?
@@justinzawistowski617 yes the relay uses the source of power when it senses it. So I didn't have to go and flip a breaker every time time I wanted to switch power sources.
@@FadeToBlackLLC La Crosse. I believe you are eastern part. Itching to get out this year for sure. Tinkering around here and there just to get involved.
@@combatcoal I'm in Central Wisconsin, Marshfield. I was just in LaCrosse a couple of weeks ago. Just did floors in mine and I'm trying to get it road ready too.
Great video...We just bought the exact year/size Mortorhome. I want to add the same system/Inverter you did but I am not sure how you did the transfer switch inside the outlet box? Thanks again for the video, hopefully I can duplicate what you did...
I'm pretty sure I linked the switch in the description and it has wiring diagram on it. The outlet for the Converter is on one side and an outlet from the Inverter is on the other with the transfer switch wired between them.
Love the video and setup. I want to replicate it with my 2016 FR Georgetown. I’m still confused about the transfer switch in the outlet box. Why is it needed and does anyone have a picture of how they connected it all. The rest seems straight forward to me. Appreciate the help.
Love the Black rims on your rig.. are they plasti-dipped or did you get all new rims? we have a 2018 Jayco Alante 31R and love RVing.. we use it for traveler ball as well!!
These are actually Powder Coated wheel simulators that just pop off. My latest videos shows my tow Dolly and other stuff I had all coated recently. We're actually in Minnesota for basketball as it type this. Thank you for commenting and safe travels.
@@FadeToBlackLLC awesome, I have been toying with the idea of plasti-dipping the rims, but just have not had the time etc. I will see how this winter goes.. I am sound deadening the doghouse first. How do you like your FR3? We almost went that route but stayed with the Jayco Family when we found the 31R.
Let me know if your into RVing or own a Motorhome? Comment down below!

I hope it helps, thanks for watching.
Hi TL Wood - did you happen to figure out the transfer switch wiring in the outlet box? That’s the part I’m still confused about.

Wayne! i was looking up battery info for the FR3 and came across your video. Hope your DP is working well for you. Take care from another Wisco RV'er.
How's it going? Yeah things are going pretty well considering it's cold out yet. Eager to get the Pusher back on the road soon!
Where are you located?
