- Been getting many questions regarding RC Nitrous ! Does RC Nitrous actually work ? Is it enough boost ? Is it too much boost? Will i blow the engine? Is it worth it? Well lets get into it as this video is specifically about RC NOS on 1/5 scale 2 stroke engines! There will be another video addressing nitrous use for nitro rc engines :). The video will hopefully show you everything your looking for but to make a long story short: IT IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ! Hope you enjoy the video!

Very nice work. It’s probably my first comment on your videos but I have been watching almost all the episodes and the work you do is excellent to say the least. What is the nitros part name or part number or is that home made? And is the 2 speed an added mod? If yes what is the part number? Is this the stock engine?
Thank you very much! Engine is TaylorRC 35cc 2 speed is an mcd option idk part number and nos kit is 16g from rb innovations 🙏
That's amazing !! what a power, how do you prevent it from burning the piston with that nos shots ?
Or is it just a risk you have to take ? ( maybe make it run on th high speed needle a bit richer )
Probably doesn’t stay into the nitrous too long for it to have time to burn up.
But I’m sure he’s got a fuel enrichment also
@markcole6475 How are you so sure😂? He has zero carb mods for more fuel on tap.
This will 100% burn up as it just runs extraordinary lean to make that power.
On a long run, hitting that nos late while it's hot will lock that little piston until it cools or scrape the cylinder walls.
@@jaybomb5022 well, appears when the nitrous comes on it lifts the front end instantly …..then appears he lets off right away to avoid flipping over….looks like just a second of nitrous use..

It is running a bit richer and yes even without the wheelie I would not stay on the nitrous for too long just in case but it can handle it it still sucks fuel and oil in when nos is engaged 🙏 if I have to change rings in the future then so be it :) easy work

Can u put it on a RC dyno and see if its making 40% more power? lol stiffen those rear shocks and lower and weigh the front end down. You dont have the front aerody. To stop wheelies.
I want it to remain an offroad vehicle 🙏 but I will try to dyno it :)

How did you run this nitro switch to the controller? Did you run the solenoid wire straight to the receiver?
Yes close ! solenoid to a momentary channel system and then to 3rd channel receiver
I understand that you made a video in the initial stage of installing the nitrous, it's a shame that in the video it looks like you don't know how to use that power and that's why the device in question is a bit like pearls for pigs
It deosnt instantly lean your motor out?
Temp was good running 1/4 turn richer just in case but keep in mind even when nos is engaged it’s still sucking 2 stroke oil/fuel mix in cylinder 🙏
