The first person who tweeted is so dumb. It's not about manners it's about persisting through times when women feel the pressure to take it off and this lady knows that it's a woman's duty to wear the hijab that's why she said what she said. May Allah give her strength to do the same.
She honoured those who majorly face oppression for their modesty, she encouraged them to never give up and Islamically validated them - she's nothing but a respectable and respectful woman!
Okay, a Muslim country is violating women’s right by discriminating against hijab women, and they are harassing this woman for standing up for them? What is wrong with Egypt?
@mnscd1657 Nah, there is a lot happening, Palestine is almost close to 7 months of genocide and NO arab country can still barely defend them by any way. So.. Yes there is a LOT happening.
Radwa is a real one saying this. As Muslim women we all know it’s fardh. However we chose to wear it. Those who wear it have done so according to Islam. You cannot discriminate against that. Wearing a headscarf doesn't have anything to do with morality. With that being said, however, it was immoral to attack this poor lady for expressing her support for veiled women.
@@sarahhaaniaxoxo ummm the hijab is a religious symbol of modesty and morality in Islam. It may not be under the western perspective but it is under a religious one.

Yes. Do you even know what discrimination means? While some of the clips in the video shows discrimination against hijab-wearing women, this reporter discriminated against non-hijab wearing women by calling them 100 times worse than those who wear hijab.
When my niqabi mum was visiting Egypt a few years ago, her and my dad were checking in to a hotel and the receptionist told her to get out of the building because she was "scaring off tourists".
Egypt has lost its mind because of obsession with the tourists’ money 😔 And I’m saying this as someone who had been to Egypt as a Russian tourist. If they had shown even a bit of a backbone, no tourists would complain about seeing veiled women in Egypt.
Yes, exactly. The only conservative Islam the government supports is one that is nationalist. So they have two faces: one religious to keep people in line, and one secular to appeal to tourists and allies.
0:55 Incorrect translation. The user didn't say "racism towards veiled women" She said "racism towards non-veiled women" And to add some context as an Arab Muslim woman, there is a stigma around both types of women. Non hijabis get thought of as women with no values or be looked at as non-Muslims (which is insulting to some of these women), and hijabis get discriminated against for their hijab and looked at as poor, lower class, or even uneducated. I do think they have a point in criticizing what Radwa said since she generalized by saying "100-times better" and not specifying better in what. But I don't think it's necessarily offensive to them since she was obviously praising the hijabis on their choice to wear hijab, not their manners.

So basically they believe that women can wear anything they want bcs it's their body, but when it comes to wanting to cover up it's a problem. Why are you forcing women not to cover up, especially for religious reasons...if a woman wore a necklace with a cross on it, it isn't a problem!? And what's so wrong with burkini's? Everyone who isn't proud of Islam is like that, not just Egyptians. Egypt banning hijabs? This is a shock. I understand France and Denmark since they're corrupt anti Muslim countries but this is pathetic. Nigabs are also commonly worn, so the banning of hijabs is not true
It's a matter of Islam dear, if you aren't a Muslim, it doesn't concern you. So don't worry. It's not that hijabi women are better than other women of Islam, it's just that they acknowledged their Lord's commandments and try to obey Him subhanawatala. Although, no one knows if a non hijabi Muslim women have exceptional good deeds that Allah forgives her for not following the obligation of hijab. @whimsicaldamsel6323 exmuslim. And when you say stuff like she said it empowers religious nut jobs who wish to impose their 'morality' on other people. She can wear it or not wear it if she wants. Just leave non hijabis alone
She should choose her words carefully. From an islamic point of view, a veiled woman is doing one very important thing but might not be doing 10 equally important duties. So, there is no way you can say a veiled woman is better but yes she is practicing better but the islamic obligations and attitude doesn't stop there. Also, the current issue in Egypt now is that Egyptians are colonised because in a muslim country, veiled women are discriminated against at least in terms of job opportunities and being a muslim country says it all about the kind of people who are in control of the country.
