Jollibee! I finally tried it in NYC a few months ago and fell in love. The spicy chickenjoy with the gravy is life! So much flavor. Loved the spaghetti and halo-halo as well. It's ridiculously good for a fast food restaurant.

Its not the real halo-halo. Halo-halo actually has shaved ice, milk and other ingredients. Halo halo SUNDAE is just ice cream with some fruits. There are also other bestseller items not sold in Manhattan like palabok, aloha burger, halo halo, burger steak and MORE. I hope the Manhattan outlet expands its menu eventually.

I hate how they stuff noodles in their mouth and then bite off the hanging part. I know a lot of people do it, but it looks gross on camera. The guest put the whole noodle in his mouth. The thing I wonder about the biters is if they enjoy having a bunch of tiny pieces left to eat.
My wife is Filipino. She and her family like the Jollibee that we all had in Hong Kong & Macao because the foods taste even more better there than in their home town.

It was brought to mainland Asia around 8000 - 10000 years ago, then it moved west to the Near East, then to the Roman Empire, then to the rest of Europe and North Africa. There was also an eastern migration from SE Asia to Polynesia , then to South America. When the Mayflower arrived in Massachusetts, chickens were not yet prevalent in those parts but turkeys were - the reason we eat turkey during Thanksgiving. If you read the Old Testament, there is no mention of chicken, even though it's a very kosher bird, because chicken has not yet arrived in that part of the world in the time of Moses. Chicken is only mentioned later in the New Testament when the rooster crowed 3x when Peter denied Jesus. By that time, the Roman Empire has already popularized the bird in Europe and the Near East. So, in short, chicken came from the Philippines and not the other way around. :)
