PIRI-PIRI!! ahahaah xD I always laugh xD Thank you for loving our cuisine and next time say to Joe Bats to try the Serra cheese (Very very very important) :P Top50 in world rank 2022
Actually piri-piri was introduced by the Portuguese in India first ( these peppers came from South America). Then we took it to Africa where they began to spread. The name itself has it's origin from Swahili Pilipili (means pepper).
It is so weird! Portuguese food is kinda common in Rio, and galinha ao molho pardo ou a cabidela I used to think was a local dish. Rabbit is less fatty than duck, and not as popular, but I like it. The bolo de bolacha we have many types and recipes and we call them pavês. And we thank the Portuguese for the Asian and African fruit and vegetables that we have a-plenty in Brazil, the different spices from all over the world that they brought here during the colonial days. Portugal had a policy of studying agricultural varieties of crops, farm animals and using them in their colonies. and their work is underrated.
@@XmarlonXPT not my father land, I am Brazilian, my famíliy has laid roots here centuries ago. But weird in the sense that this kind of mixed cuising we tend to see It in the colonies. I love that places in Asia, in the Pacific, in África and us ended up with things in Common, I am sad that the reason is often colonialism, slave trade and bloody Conquest.

Its easy to make baba de camelo, have a cooked condensed milk can, 5 eggs, separate the yolk, keep the egg white as well. Put the condensed milk in a big bowl and join the 5 yolks then mix them with a wired wand. Then you whip the egg whites in another bowl then you carefully mix them with the condensed milk then put it in the fridge for while then you can it.

This food is served all over Portugal and is available to the average Portuguese person. It’s not only for the president of Portugal. That’s a rather strange observation. Obviously, each restaurant has its own unique recipes and style. And each region has its own cuisine. The Brazilian barbecue usually is only served in Brazilian barbecue restaurants in Portugal!
