    It occurs to me that you should order this stuff ahead of time! If you wait until you have holes you're gonna have a bad time.

      Its a good idea to have aquasure/aquaseal in your spares kit

    Don't be swayed by people who are sponsored by a brand, wise words.

    Nice. You don clean of the area of the holes before glue?

    • @gbdivering
      @gbdivering  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can clean it with acetone if you’re worried the area is dirty

    Just the glue? Aquasure? Without a patch? Is it enough?

    • @gbdivering
      @gbdivering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the size of the hole - but I think upto 1cm will seal with aqua sure only

    Hi does this work for larger areas that are leaking because of lamination? Im guessing I can still apply the glue onto the area entirely although it will cover an area of about 3 inches squared...? Or do you recommend a patch, if so, have you any videos on this too? Thanks :)

      delamination is a warrranty issue - send that suit back for a replacement.

    At what point do you actually apply that talcum powder? While the aquasure is still drying up?

    • @gbdivering
      @gbdivering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After the last coat and when it’s dry to touch ;)

    Have you ever reglued the seams on the TLS ? Do you remove the old glue on the seam entierly ?

    • @gbdivering
      @gbdivering  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to reglue the seems - yes its best to remove, but its hard to know when to stop and you might just do them all and you'll get sore fingers :(

    I stopped buying expensive waders, $40-50 two years and to the garbage it goes. Thise companies don't want waders to last for a long time.

    • @gbdivering
      @gbdivering  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this technique would work on waders too.

    Hi! In the previous video you suspected of a leak on one of the cuffs, did you fix it? if so, how? Thanks!

    • @gbdivering
      @gbdivering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was able to apply a bead of aquasure between the ring and the suit.
