Great video! Love the bin with the inflator on top! Great idea! Will make one myself. I have turned my suits invalve inside out, but this is much nicer and less of a hassle!
Another great, and timely video! I know my suit has a small and annoying leak in the Santi smart seal, but haven't figured out how find it! Thanks for the Pro tip.
Its possible ... but then you have to take valve out, which sometimes is difficult and also reinstall it wihout testting if its the cause of another leak
Instead of the screwdriver, you should use a socket for the clamp, that way you can't accidentally stab yourself or the seal. If you don't have a spare inflator, a bicycle valve and a compressor (or a bicycle pump and a lot of patience), or an air mattress pump with a short piece of hose as a connector and a plug would also work. You are right that turning the suit inside out makes the leak detection much better, because the pressure in that direction opens up the problematic holes. To make small leaks easier to see, you can dissolve the ink from a yellow highlighter, or other UV active ink, in the water, and use a UV flashlight in the dark. Thanks for this video!
Interesting method. I usually spray soapy water on the outside. Are you adding the water on the inside on purpose over the outside? Looks like to detect a lot of leaks but also looks petty messy haha
Three leaks and a few damp patches (which I don't think you'd notice in diving) but got some cool diving comnig up and I wanna be dry for 3-4h in 7oC. Water on inside is then being pushed in the same direction as when you dive. Picks up way more leaks in my experience and less water everywhere :)

Amazing video, thanks! I've tried to find a leak, but could not. Now I got a new hope.
Found 2 leaks with this approach! Once again - thanks!
@evgeniysokolov4088 glad you found them

Instead of using an extra inflator, just screw your excisting loose and fix it inside out and you can use it to inflate the suit.

Great tips - thank you. And I thought that about the socket as soon as it slipped and dug into my finger 🤣
Great method!
Thank you :)
Yes. It will be nice to see how you patched them.
Ok … I’ll do that next week
I think it's time for a new suitIt must be cheaper than buying and repairing all those holes :)
Nice video! A question how do you know is not a hole in the turbo soles? You didn’t take them out!
I didn't have wet feet :) Otherwise i would've gone to effort to turn them inside out

I didn’t know that adidas was making dry suits 🤣🤣🤣
Only for the special few 🤣
How much water do you put inside the suit for testing?
1-2 L soapy water
To all those watching... he walks like that in real life.
your left arm leak may just be ingress via the dump, if you dive it open.
Could be … but often you have a clue from where you’re wet after a dive
