I'm in my sixties and have never been a fan of most heavy Rock sort of music but I love this guy. If I was in that street I would definitely stand and listen to him. He,s a very talented musician and I hope he will go far.
Christ! I cannot believe that there is not a studio on this earth able to recruit this evidently super gifted player as bass session player! Just awesome...
@@homeybaloney1059 This guy apparently can pull good bass players out of his ass. Bass is the hardest instrument to find an actual proficient player. Drummers, guitarists, all a dime a dozen.
@@homeybaloney1059 I mean he def could do with some metronome practice but yeah I think the people want to know if you're a talent scout or just a guy who felt like he needed a boost by wet blanketing someone on the internet
I just play for fun, no talent scout, not professional, just someone takes music as a serious hobby and has performed and recorded quite a number of times. He is pretty good, he is also pretty sloppy. Mind you, he is playing on a street corner so this is not the best way to judge his actual playing ability, but based on this he has plenty of talent to make it in a one-in-a-million pop rock group, but trained musicians would be far better suited for the formality of a studio bassist. It kinda reminds me of when people ponder how street ballers never made it to the nba. Hell, plenty of times people ask me why I don’t play music for a living, and I chuckle knowing I am completely outclassed by touring/gigging/studio/etc musicians. I am certainly good enough to impress people who don’t play music, but I am not going to compete with a pro. Besides, I make far more money as a programmer, so therefore I can buy all the cool gear musicians can’t afford and I get to keep music as my hobby and not make it my pain in the ass job
Envy breeds dislikes to a talent like this. This man has worked his butt off to grasp his gift and the only way you could dislike this is because of envy.

They're obviously completely god damn bloody tone-deaf and have absolutely no appreciation of brilliant musicians/wicked mad skills. I can't unhear the vibe I felt when you played the lullaby. I'm so entranced by your pedal work. And then to cap it with like an early 90's MTV era riff into a little sleepy-time lullaby...wow!
Wow simplemente increíble 🤩 cuando alguien en verdad siente lo que toca y vive lo que toca, la belleza que transmite a través de su arte, este cover es simplemente hermosoo.

It’s the Jaco approach with a loop pedal. Very nice. Very interesting with the fluttering effect when using all four fingers....almost nailed it. I was imagining how it would it sound hitting on it behind the beat. So close.
Are you trying to say he almost nailed the song but didn't quite get there? If so, really mate! did you have to pick holes in it? Just give the guy props for crying out loud. it was a god damn superlative effort! A lot of his playing was improvisational and it's the little imperfections here and there that gives the piece it's get down and Boogie charm.
