    Just wanted to say thanks very much for this video. I did all of the work on my sons CRF myself. I did the oil, spark plug, tightened the handle brake, and did the back tire. You saved me a lot of money, lol, Greatly appreciate it!

    Great video. Also a dad here, Just got a mint XR50 with a California title for my 3&5 year old! Has a flat rear tire from sitting. I’ve done it before but just wanted to make sure I didn’t ruin/break anything. Perfect step by step hope you still have your 50!!!

    good job. I usually mark the tire to the stem location before removal. This enables you to check the tire as well in case you have a thorn, nail or other object that has punctured tube. That way you don't poke a hole in a new tube. Keep up the good work.

      Thats a great tip thanks for that!

    1 thing you should have done was flip the wheel over so the inner tube isnt touching the sprocket. Teeth grab and chances tearing the inner tube. You should also push the valve stem threw before pulling out the old tube. But we all have our own ways. Good job pops as a kid that had his dad as my pit mechanic id say im proud of you man. Keep up the good work

    Great video. What is the tube and the tire tool set you used to take out tire from the rim?

  • @munghini
    @munghini 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    So the new tire tubes come with 2nuts and 1 of those concave washers. To clarify, that washer and one of those nuts goes inside the tire??

    • @somecooney5304
      @somecooney5304 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, same question here. It's not clear to me. It doesn't seem like the one nut goes inside the rim. That being said, just changed this tube recently, and it sheared off at the valve stem. I guess that's why these come in a 2 pack, haha!

    Little hint, you want to air up the tube first to make sure there aren’t any holes before you put it i the tire

    • @TheRykerDane
      @TheRykerDane  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well its a new tire. Also if you put air in it then it will be hard to get in the tire and around the rim

    Followed this procedure and still pinched the tube at the end. Tried again and same thing happened. what am i doing wrong lol. Waiting on new tubes to come in tomorrow.

      @BenjaminMarquez-q2g 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Your inserting the tool too far into the tire. Insert it just enough to grab the the bare minimum to grab onto the tire. Don’t push down on the tire unless you are sure the tube is not between the tool and the tire.

    I have an issue with rear suspension link, I'm trying to remove the bolts but there is one I can´t take out, it holds the "triangular" link to the swingarm, I noticed there are two welded washers that doesn´t allow the bolt to move out, could you give me an advice on how to remove that bolt? Thanks for your help in advance... Have a nice day!!!
