It's been done as a simple joke far too often to work again. They had to take it (semi)seriously, flesh it out with a solid scientific core, that was the only way to make it fresh again. Masterful.

I love how NOS slip in little references to other music in their songs. Not only did they throw in parts of "Staying Alive" but a little bit of "Aquarius" too. Anyone under 60 probably missed the Aquarius part. This band is brilliant but what makes it work is the fact that they are excellent musicians.

Can't believe I have only just heard of these guys and this song. Had me crying with laughter, yet it's an awesome song. All the Ur-anus puns are welcome and a nice nod to a few classic pop songs in there as well. Also learnt more about the solar system than in school!
