    Went to Tenerife Aug21 to get away for my 50th after losing my mum just a few months earlier from cancer. Having a drink in Manhattan's and Ricky was in there. City just lost the community shield, so in hindsight problem could of done without us mithering him. On his way out to his taxi I asked if he could have a picture with my little girl, but she was just in the loo. He told his misses to make the cab wait, while he waited for my girl and had a picture. The guy is a genuinely lovely bloke and that's why everyone loves him, because despite his achievements he is still a down to earth guy who'll make time for everyone. Top quality guy 🥊😁

    Brilliant watch, interviewing real people who go through real problems. I found Ricky explaining his problems really helpful. Better than the so called hardmen , gangsters👍

      The real hardmen get out their bed every morning to break their back so they can provide for their family.

    • @CARLIN4737
      @CARLIN4737 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try harder, We all have problems even so called hardmen, Imagine doing 25 years or long stretches and coming through the other side as a responsible human being. I dont agree with your thumbs up. A lot of people are from deprived backgrounds and starts on life you and i couldnt imagine. I try and keep the faith in humanity and all the people brave enough to tell there story and change what they was before. You cannot change the past and we have all done things we are not proud of. Life is not easy and doing long sentences in a country like ours is still based on bang up and punishment rather than rehabilitation. The media have a lot to answer for with there xbox and tv in every cell nonsense. ive been in jail mainly in the 90s...Brixton, Wandsworth, Chelmsford and Highpoint and Military prison, Colchester and i can assure you its no easy street as the media would have you think.

    This is why Ricky was/is idolised, a totally honest , down to earth, humble lad. Who never ever got the "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM" SYNDROME .the strange thing is about Ricky's story here is that when he lost to mayweather he thought he'd let everyone down . I went over to see that fight with 3 mates ,I'm from Durham and i probably spent around 5k in total.
    We were all gutted to see him lose but we loved him even more .
    I still say to this day that the referee of that fight had been told not to let Ricky box on the inside/ up close. Because they knew he could have damaged mayweather .
    Anyway, great video James , thank you for this , Ricky Hatton LEGEND !
